On "My Car Story" we're in Pacific Grove CA on 8-20-22.
We're looking at a 1956 Lincoln Premiere Convertible in Taos Turquoise Paint. The car comes with a 368 CI V8 engine.
We’re talking with the Owner Jeff Wildin. Jeff’s had this car since 2016. He shares this car won design awards in 1956. He mentions he’s always had a soft spot in his heart for Lincolns and particularly interested in design. This car has both pieces, and then add this color Taos Turquoise, and this was a good car for him. This car is AMAZING.
    ENJOY!

It's simply spectacular! I loved all their hats, too. Even the deer stopped by to give a nod of approval.. Pebble Beach always delights. Thanks, Lou!

Always one of my top favorite automotive designs. Just a very thought-out and inspired design. Like a show dream-car prototype. This one is breathtaking in both its condition and spectacular color. It screams "1950's!"

Without a doubt the 1956 Lincoln Premiere ranks as one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Ever since I was a little kid, this car was always one of my favorites. Lincoln out did it's self in '56 the simple design with it's gorgeous front end and beautiful rear end can not be beat those taillights are an iconic Lincoln Look. The interior is simple yet elegant and comfortable with many features that were ahead of their time. I love everything about the 1956 Lincoln Premiere. Just a gorgeous car, then and now. I have a large collection of

Gorgeous car. The designers of this car were way ahead of their time on this one. Too bad we don’t have designers like that anymore.

Was built like a tank. Saved my mother's life according to State police after she collided with a truck on an icy highway. True story.

Hello Lou! I decided to check out this Lincoln after viewing the pink '56 Hardtop. The link you provided brought me here. This Lincoln is even more lovely. There were many amazing body colors for 1950s automobiles, unlike today, when we're limited mostly to boring grays and silver cars. The owner said there are only about 100 of those Lincoln convertibles like his. A big reason for that is because Lincoln produced only 2,447 Premier convertibles in 1956. They carried a base price of $4,747 - a huge pile of money back then.

Power windows and power seats on this 1956 beauty...so very very impressive...it would be 20 years before these wonderful options would be thought of as commonplace...in 56, it was simply mind boggling...Great work Lou!

What a beautiful Lincoln! It has to be rare because I've never heard of the Premiere. I love that Taos Turquoise color! It's so period correct! I also love that knight hood trunk key lock. I also noticed the brake pedal had two bars that looked unique. The engine runs super quiet, and it sounded very healthy and smooth. I got a kick out of the gentleman's matching outfit that went perfectly with that paint job! Definitely a beauty that's for sure! It seems like you find some awesome cars at Pebble Beach.

My wife's grandfather was a Cadillac guy. He only owned El Dorados. That made my wife fan of Cadillac. She always bragged on them and would like to have one someday. I am a Ford and Mercury guy? Except for one Plymouth, all of my cars have been Fords or Mercurys. I used to tease my wife that if I ever stepped up to a more luxury car, it would be a Lincoln. Seeing this video, I see the Lincoln I would want. It is truly a beautiful automobile. Certainly a much better car than the 56 El Dorado my grandfather in-law had.

"Our fat 'Fifties cars, how we loved them, revved them. No thought of pollution. Exhaust smoke, factory smoke, cigarette smoke, all romantic. Romance of consumption at its height."

That Lincoln has one of the best color combinations ever, and has such a classy look. I am sure it rides great also Lou. Loved it. Have a great Christmas and New Year!!

This is a much more favorable presentation of this car than the earlier version, The 1956 Lincoln sales brochure notes no other car seems quite as natural as a convertible as a Lincoln. In the case of this car that is certainly true. I had the pleasure of seeing my first 1956 Lincoln in my neighbors garage since he happen to be the local Lincoln Mercury dealer. The fog lights are a very attractive and useful option on this car. Assuming the car was not purchased for police work, the twin spotlights are tasteless inappropriate clutter on a very beautiful car,

Yeah, if this doesn’t say Ritzy Fifties, nothing else will. Ive seen a few of these on the road back in the day, but the convertible was a rare sight even then. A true land yacht. Lou, another great review.

What a stunningly beautiful car. I've never seen a Lincoln like this. I wish the automotive industry would design vehicles similar to the mid 50's to mid 60's again
