  • CLARIFICATION: this is not her CONSISTENT supported range, it's just the whole range she has ever supported (consistently + lucky moments).
    Check out my other supported range videos: Beyoncé, Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga and Whitney Houston :)
    Also thanks to the uploaders of the amazing videos I used here, please go watch them.

    I think her supported range is definitely D3 to F6... Her lower notes than D3 may have Vibrato but I feel it's just a comfort thing with her... Easier when it's comfortable... But The E6 note for Mariah was a staple after 2004... That note kinda became supported over time. The F6 as well because despite what people say if it wasn't supported the 2nd high note after the bridge in IWTKWLI wasn't a whistle it was head voice... She has a high head voice... Higher than most assume... I think alot of the other notes passed either end are more comfortable and can be produced as easy as the supported ones...

    Her actual supported range is B2-A5(presuming all of the Bb5s are unsupported even though there are a couple that probably are supported)-F6.

    • @ingropetinal3915
      @ingropetinal3915 Год назад +1

      No, her supported range at her BEST is D3-G5-Bb5.
      Her BEST consistent supported range is like E3/F3-F5/F#5-A5 (from late 1994 til mid-1996).
      Her Nowdays's supported range is only like F3-B4/C5-A5.

      Menawo Rigg Nope. The highest notes when belting that she has ever had support/resonance on live and in the studio is a G5.

      Menawo Rigg On The Extended Version Of TGTBAW She Belts G#5 Supported Well... She Just Doesn't Do It Alot... And In The Song With Eric Benet, The Way I Believe It's Called, She Hits A Very Resonant G#5 In The Background... But Again She Just Doesn't Do It Alot...

      @bclislife 7 лет назад +3

      Amit Agmon I don't think this video is of a consistent supported range. I think it's of the whole range of notes she supported. I can't recall a single C#3 or G#5 or Eb6 she sang perfectly.

    • @cashcow4450
      @cashcow4450 7 лет назад

      Amit Agmon no her consistentcy ends at D3. She has supported only 1 B2 before but it was only once in the studio.

    • @edcardenass
      @edcardenass  7 лет назад +18

      Currently? Something around F3-C5, but she's not too consistent nowadays, back in her vocal peak she was more like Eb3-F#5/G5, without head voice.

    • @ingropetinal3915
      @ingropetinal3915 Год назад +1

      In her prime like E3/F3-F5/F#5-A5.
      Nowdays like: F3-B4/C5-A5.

      +Jhanna Augustina CP I suppose that is the case.

    • @cashcow4450
      @cashcow4450 7 лет назад +13

      Jhanna Augustina CP Jhanna Augustina CP No even in the studio Mariah's resonance and breath support is usually only present up to G5. For the most part, almost all of her studio G#5s & A5s are unsupported, chesty, & squeezed. She has one A5 that was hit with a neutral larynx though in her song called "The one". But for the most part she is mostly consistent up to G5.

    • @alexnguyen6625
      @alexnguyen6625 7 лет назад

      I think from B4 to A5 should be considered to be headvoice, although he can mix up to A5 but above B4 there is no support in his mix.

      The supported Eb6 was a lucky moment since she literally strained in all Eb6 except these
      Also she has 1 supported B2 in You And I
      Also he forgotted a lot of notes
      Like
      Eb6 in Inseparable
      E6 in I Still Believe
      F6 in Angels Interlude
