Something I have long wanted to see is the silk museum and the silk district/markets in Hangzhou, which is not super far from Shanghai... Maybe that's just me being a fabric and historical costume geek though 😅My dream is to go there myself one day but I'm not sure it will ever happen...

I hope I do net step over any boundaries, but just in case: Shanghai has a 上海影视乐园 where at least the scenes from the Longcheng University from The Guardian were shot. A little bit far from the city centre, but a nice location. Anyway, I wish you a safe trip and hope you will eat a lot of local delicacies!
The natural lighting is good! I’ll suck up everything you decide to make in China. Last year’s China content was great. I wonder if you could make a trip to Zhouzhuang in Kunshan where they filmed the drama Riverside Code in Qingming Festival. I recalled that that was a new place like Hengdian but specifically designed to look like the time setting used in that drama (I’m not good with remembering which dynasty).
Li Gengxi just won the Best Actress in the Golden Rooster Award; so it’s probably worthwhile to check out her new drama. To be honest, the recent C-dramas have not generate much enthusiasm to watch, as far as I’m concerned.
As a fellow Canadian, can you please update us on the drama "Smile Code" with Shen Yue and Lin Yi. It is a beautiful drama series but their was no promotion. Would love to hear your opinions since international fans love Shen Yue and Lin Yi. Also, please update us on the NEW release from Mango called, "The Great Dreamer" with Shen Yue and Ken Wu this week. How do international fans provide updates on Tencent, what VPN do you recommend to watch these dramas and write reviews?
Nowadays there are fewer and fewer good chinese dramas it's as if their brain to make them good just turned off mediocre dramas are celebrated love game in Eastern fantasy that drama is no good like at all dramas like story of minglan, eternal love, nirvana in fire you get those no more
