I've been using Makita cordless tools for Mt work for 8 years. I have about 20 pieces of there lithium line. Everything except for maybe two items have been exceptional. Nice too see you guys showing off some Makita!! Great stuff!!
I cant say enough how much I like the Makita 18v line. I have several tools and they are all great! I don't have this saw yet bat after this video I just might get it. thanks for the video!
I have that saw and I got to tell you it cuts so clean and fast. I was so surprised when I first used it. I is so much easier to use than my bulky corded circular saw. I don't have the saw in front of me but the blade itself also seems thinner which I like. I use it on the job site when ever I need it and love using it because its so light and you can maneuver it so easily.
glad to see you guys doing more Makita, after the drill fight they have moved way up in my estimation, I mean I've always known they were a high end brand but after the tool fight I am liking them even more! nice review guys even if Eric couldn't remember the 3 things that were most important to him in a saw....lol
Makita has a lot of great tools and fast charge times, hopefully they see the good in Tia and send you more tools so you can get more people in there platform...
XSH03Z is light and has enough prower to work done. Only thing I don't like price. Well you pay more to save more on long run. I won one of this and love it.
That looks like a great saw especially since it throws all of the sawdust out from the back instead of leaving it in the front covering up the line. Makita makes some great tools I just don't understand why they don't just put the power indicators on the batteries . How hard can it be ?
This question is directed to Eric and its the question of do you prefer it over a Milwaukee 6 and half inch circ saw and yes Ik you guys say go for your tool line but if you didn't have any tools in particular which would you pick?
as a whole line up they are very comparable. I have done plenty of research on the different brands and to me milwaukee would be my first choice and makita a very close second. it also depends on your usage. if you're advanced diyer like myself milwaukee, Makita, dewalt, and some of the more expensive brushless brands may not be worth the extra cost. ridgid and ryobi are really stepping their tool game up. if you go with them be sure to spring for the 4 ah batteries. Their compact batteries suck. I do a lot of automotive repair and maintenance. I like milwaukees impact wrenchs better and they make a cordless ratchet. makita doesn't. that influenced my decision. I went with milwaukee brushless because I bought from cpo outlet. I got the brushless drill and impact driver kit with two 4 ah batteries for about the same as ridgids combo kit. I have their impact wrench as well and looking to get the ratchet next.
Im actually going into the building trade id most likely be using it everyday but im not really sure if i want to even go into the trade anymore ive had a few bad days but he stuff i have been doing isnt really building its more refitting windows and im just not really sure i should invest all my money in something i might regret bu thank you for your in put
+Nerf Herder If you're not sure what you want to do, and/or you don't mind factory reconditioned check out cpo outlet reconditioned tools. They have many brushless tools for cheap and brushed models for even less. Lots of Dewalt and Milwaukee for much less than new.
You guys should try ripping treated 2x lumber with this saw. I expected it to go through it when I got mine but I didn't expect it to do it with such ease.
Man that saw seems to be just as powerful as my corded Milwaukee. Cordless would be handy. It's officially on my wish list. You guys giving that one away? Lol
A good Makita review at TIA?!Now I believe that anything is possible! . lol. Funny, but it is a good new! We love good tools! It could be yellow, red, blue, green...
no they are not sales on these brushless circ saws are terrible Dewalt is just waiting for the sales to pick up don't a lot people still have the brushed versions which are still pretty good so they aren't rushing out to buy new saws
After five years this saw is still one of the best
Great features. I really like the fact that the blade is on the left hand side, making the line of site that much better. Great review.

im not too up to date with the mikta line up but wow this saw looks like it performs just as good as my m18 fuel 6 1/2 saw.
Can we use makita's 6ah battery in this product
I have a deWalt 18 volt from a couple of years ago and it is under powered for most things. Might have to check into this one.

I'm assuming that store is in the USA? I'm actually from New Zealand where tools like Milwaukee are quite hard to come by
+Nerf Herder its a website. Not sure they sell or ship to New Zealand.

Dmitriy barsukov We will try
Man that saw seems to be just as powerful as my corded Milwaukee. Cordless would be handy. It's officially on my wish list. You guys giving that one away? Lol
Josh Trevino maybe towards the end of the year
I like that saw! What do you guys think about the dewalt cordless circ saw?
ESCAGEDO WOODWORKING If you have the 20V it is a good saw.
It looks like a nice saw. If your in the Makita platform it would be a good idea to buy one.
Busted!!...lmao
Wish they made a Left hand blade 7 1/4" 18v with one batt.

That's pretty saw-some.
That saw isn't yellow?
I feel like it should be yellow and say dewalt on in
Ryan H Awwwee, That's too bad that Dewalt only makes decent cordless tools...
whats the uk model number
Hey look a Makita review..lol Does Makita like TIA now??
Justin Hernandez lol
Makita left a bad taste in my mouth when I was a young carpenter. Maybe it is worth another look.
Come on dewalt your getting further behind
no they are not sales on these brushless circ saws are terrible Dewalt is just waiting for the sales to pick up don't a lot people still have the brushed versions which are still pretty good so they aren't rushing out to buy new saws
