The more of these I watch, the more I'm starting to think that because Dean didn't like to rehearse before showtime, the script writers decided to start messing with him deliberately. 😆
Those cue cards for instance: the line about his wife waiting for him in the chicken... Dean's reaction to that is priceless as he calls out "KITCHEN". That's what makes me think the cue card stuff ups were deliberate.
I think his producer Greg Gerringson did say that the people who dose up the cue cards did try to trip up Dean once in a while.This was just to see how Dean would get himself out of things. This is what made the show interesting, the neat part Dean could laugh at himself. Love these videos
I think Dean did those on purpose just like changing words to a song. I watched this show as a kid & remember him singing 'Leon, Leon' then saying oh - Noel, Noel. My dad thought that was so funny. Great memories of great entertainment & sharing those times with my wonderful dad.
