I have done Plenty of Fish and Bumble in the past. I had a good overall experience with Plenty of Fish meeting women on dates. I did Plenty of Fish two times actually. Bumble was a waste of time in my perspective, as the women have to initiate but the conversations were just 1 or 2 worded responses so they didn't seem optimistic so I didn't have luck from there
I HATE HINGE!! The age filters did not work and the algorithm really sucks. All my real connections were reasonably attractive guys between 28 and 48 yet still I kept getting guys of 60 years living many miles away offered as a best match by the app. and then 19 or 20 year old guys liking my profile. Also quickly got tired of looking at really lousy profiles of men because there were no filters whatsoever. I did not end up dating anyone on this app.
I'm sure men are guilty of this too but women on Dating apps act like there pulling up to a drive thru and ordering there perfect match. Must be 6' + must have a strong jaw , must make 60k + a year, must be in shape... like do you want fries with that?? Will that complete your order? Please drive up!! It's a never ending job interview filled with fake profiles, filters that make women look like super models only to find out they look nothing like there pictures when you meet them. Sorry rant over! Yes! Agreed! What men do is the opposite. They pull their basket up and take everything even if it’s past it’s sell by date. If it’s warm, they will stick their Dick in it.

I have countless friends who have found their partners on dating apps. Whether we like it or not, that’s the way we meet people now. You can try meeting people organically but getting cynical doesn’t help. Of course, your looks, profile, economic status and chemistry all play a role. I do know that a lot of the female profiles are scams and they want you to go to some site and pay. You have to weed them out. For women, we have to weed out guys who just want sex. I’m all about self accountability. Look at yourself and see why you’re not attracting people instead of blaming everyone and everything else. If you need me to review your profile, I’m happy to do that for free. You may also be trying to attract women outside your number range. If you’re a 4, you can’t be trying to get 8-10. Try swiping right on less attractive women. They might surprise you in person.
I would never use dating app, I would like to be confident and go to gym, or a beach. When I was going to gym in Finland, I met with a cougar btw :D I woudn't like to be too p**sy not to say even a "hello" to a woman in a social environment.
