I sure enjoyed this tasty clip and accompanied music esp. that from Karen too... but makan time sure is getting to my innards watching the dishes that were reminiscent of my time there... this is also thanks to a great friend who is also a helpful guide for the sights & sounds to all haunts in this Pearl of the Orient... cheers to my Penang friend, the "theBat"

I had a fillipino housekeeper as a child. I ate many of these dishes. How many did you eat. And why are malaysian dishes so similar to the one from the Phillipines

@Parpu91 hey nasi kandar is only one aspect of penang foods. way back, nobody heard of nasi kandar. it was coolie/labour food then. indians sold their foods by carrying the pots with stick on their shoulders. nothing to shout about. penang is always known for his chinese street foods.

ipoh food is good, true. But i don't think ipoh has as much good food as PENANG does. When u ask anyone in Malaysia or Singapore where to find best food in malaysia, all you hear is Penang, not Ipoh. sorry to disappoint you but, according to times magazine Penang has the best street food in asia, and will always be the best.
