    Fantastic thanks - two questions what are the required periods to be physically present in Portugal for the D7 - various sites have different figures - also the required minimum Euro passive income ?

    Question. Once you obtained one of the visas how long will take to apply for a citizenship?

    Great video and very informative. If I was wanting to buy a cherry farm in central Portugal, what would be the best visa to apply for? It would seem like a D2 but it’s an existing business so not entirely entrepreneurial!

      That would probably be the best one to go for, but I would seek professional advice before proceeding. Get in touch if you want to speak to our lawyers or our accountants.

    Very informative video. How scrict are they with things that may show up on a background check? Specifically would a couple DWI's cause someone to get denied?
    Asking for a friend! 😉

      Hi Sal, I spoke with Ana Teresa:
      Concerning the criminal record, the applicant can only qualify for the visa if, in the country of origin m/residency the applicant has not been convicted of a crime which in Portugal's legal framework would have a one year minimum imprisonment sentence but this is always subject to discretionary review by the Portuguese immigration authorities, casa by case.

    Can anybody tell D7 job seeker visa how much money need to bank statement

    • @AlgarveAddicts
      @AlgarveAddicts  3 месяца назад

      D7 wasn't designed for job seekers. However you need the minimum wage (currently €820) to enter your bank account each month from a passive source. You also need a lump sum in your bank account. Usually one year of payments. Please confirm with our lawyer as things do change.

      Personally I'd rather live somewhere nice and sunny, the UK is not for me but also now due to the change in taxes I think Portugal will likely be far too expensive.

      @@lrsco coming from the UK (post-Brexit) I don't care if it is an EU or non-EU country as you'll need a visa anyway.
      Georgia and Estonia are good on taxes but Estonia is probably colder than the UK. Croatia is a nice country... 🤔
      There are a lot of options outside the EU

    I’m Eu Citizen hold Eu passport from Italy. Portugal is a joke. Is a good country if you came from Ethiopia or you are an oligarchs. Unless you are doomed. I was offered 1000€ net pay for a call center in Porto. I risked to end up homeless or food bank unless you do not have a second and even a third income. Tourist +Landlord and Digital Nomad Cartel ruled in the country. Government just muppets. 🏃‍♂️ Run folks
