  • Have you ever worried that you might have committed the unforgivable sin? This video is here to bring clarity and comfort to those troubled by this daunting question. In this video, Jordan delves into what the Bible actually says about the unforgivable sin, breaking down misconceptions and fear surrounding this topic. By examining the context, meaning, and implications of Jesus' words on blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, Jordan makes 5 points aimed at providing a clear understanding of this sin, why it is considered unforgivable, and why the vast majority of people who fear they have committed it have in fact not.

    If you think you've committed the sin, you haven't. The fear of God is the beginning of knowledge. Once saved, always saved.

      I see you don't fear God enough to tell EVERYONE reading your comment that simply because they fear God is "evidence" they're NOT guilty of the unpardonable sin. If I were you I would delete the post and ask God to FORGIVE YOU for telling others things you know NOTHING ABOUT.
      Hebrews 10:31 KJV- 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

      @@ManassehJones actually, I was stating what he said in the video. I feel like I committed the unforgivable sin because I was a member of The World Mission Society Church of God and worshipped false Gods, but he said if you are in fear you committed the sin, you probably didn't. But only God can judge us.

    Think in your head everything you have done wrong in front of god Think hard and then think why would this video appear if he didn’t try to both help you and warn you there is no such thing as coincidences also never think of as a judge in court but as the father who is trying to help and protect you so don’t fear have faith
    (Isaiah 41:10 KJV) do not fear for I am with you,do not be dismayed for I am your god. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

    I like this mesaage. So the unforgiveable sin is being in a state of blasphamy against the holy spirit at the time of our death? I immediately see that this view has the benefit of not contradicting clear scripture elsewhere in the NT where the apostles teach that all those who have faith in Christ will be saved. Only in one place in scripture is that qualified with *except for this one sin.

    I like your videos, but this is a lot of words to communicate a very simple concept. The unforgivable sin is simply this: being an unbeliever. Unbelievers are unforgiven. The proof you are a believer in Jesus is that you have faith that He is the Savior, you trust God’s Word, you seek to obey Him, you repent when confronted with your sin. Somehow this gets over complicated. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Follow THE WAY and you will be forgiven. Reject The Way, and you will not be forgiven. This is why the outline for church discipline in Matthew 18 is as it is. This is how you can tell someone is a follower of Jesus. If they don’t repent when confronted by the Holy Spirit as spoken through His Church, you can safely assume they aren’t a believer. Unbelief is the unforgivable sin.

    If men are seeking Biblical Truth from scripture, and you're counciling them as a called by God teacher of Truth;
    James 3:1 KJV - My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
    There's not a more freightening responsibility on ALL the earth than to be in a role as a Truth teller, as the eternal consequences are severe.
    I will not comment on your council on the unforgivable sin....but....7:51....😢

    Food for thought. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit CANNOT happen for a regenerated, born again from above by the effectual grace of God, elect son of God, who made an utterly new creature in the image of Christ. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.
    Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit can ONLY happen by false, unregenerated, religious people who call or MOCK the work of the Holy Spirit in Gods chosen people as "evil" or "wicked" or even "satanic."
    Do you know religious people that "MOCK" the Autonomous Effectual Power of the Holy Spirit in Gods elect? Or people that call Gods chosen people whose been regenerated by Gods effectual grace BY the Holy Spirit as "deceivers," "confused," or "heretics," or even "anti-christ?" These are those who commit the unpardonable sin, and we are not to pray for them.
    1 John 5:16 KJV - If any man see his brother (Jew) sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

      It is interesting, my brother, that you had to insert the word 'Jew' into the scriptures to justify your point, because if it meant 'Christian', it would say the opposite of what you are saying.
      What in the context of 1 John 5 makes you think that John means 'Jew' here? Is the word 'Jew' anywhere else in 1 John?
      Where in the context of I John do you get the idea that John is talking to Jews?
