  • Is the Shroud of Turin the real, authentic burial cloth of Jesus Christ? There are both Christians and non-Christians who are convinced that it is. In this video Jordan talks with Dale Glover of the "Real Seekers" RUclips channel along with criminal defense attorney Teddi Pappas about the practical significance of the Shroud of Turin.

Christianity is organized religion and so the Shroud does not verify Christianity per se.
What’s interesting to me is the power release necessary to cause the image. The resurrection becomes a plausible reality to consider and the deity of Jesus quickly is in the conversation. The New Testament Documents describe the man Jesus of Nazareth and his belief system. Almost no one has followed his teachings since. The so called Christians nullify his words routinely picking and choosing what suits them, myself included!
I’m working on this problem and uncovering historical truth is a large help in meeting that goal.

I could be wrong. But what I think you're saying is. Y3s, the catholic church made a Frankenstein religion, banning certain books, and worshiping others. Christ came to show us the true All Creating God that the catholics try to cover up. I still think worshiping a bloody shroud and still not what Christ was foing for. He was showing us all the true power we possess if we choose to refine ourselves and take it

@alexandraonai8187 The catholic church yes I agree, Heresy but as far as controlling the entire manuscript tradition no. Decisions were made as to what book got in and didn't but not based on theology. Mainly based on dating and chain of command (eye-witness) reasons.

To clarify a little. I don’t think Jesus came as Savior to establish a religion. I think he came to reconnect Earth to Heaven. In Heaven they do not practice a religion and never did. They have a way of being. Religion can point us in that direction but can never become a way of being. Religion renders down what is spiritual to the carnal. The shroud takes the carnal and renders it up to the spiritual (miraculous). Jesus living in and through us renders us from carnal to spiritual but not the counterfeit which are religious rules and rituals.
It is far more organic. It’s a relationship, creature to Creator. Imagine setting up a religion to regulate your relationship with your earthly mother or father. A child doesn’t need that because they know and are known and share blood ties. What governs relationships is affection. Religion morphs and becomes many things rather quickly and causes us to lose His way of being. I can’t identify with Christianity anymore because it has drifted so far from the connection with the Way and has traded it for a system instead. A little leaven leaven’s the whole lump. We are about as far off now as the Pharisees we’re then from Moses and the Prophets who they murdered. Their is always the remnant who are spiritually connected but that is a small number. This discovery validates Jesus but not the chaos of Christianity in all its forms. Christianity today resembles what happened at Babel. I don’t care about the religion being validated. Religion can help to point in a direction but it always seems to render down in practice.

The resurrection of Christ is the central event of the Christian faith and, indeed, of all world history. If Jesus did not bodily rise from the dead after three days, Christianity is false and all people remain dead in their sins (1 Cor. 15:14-17).
John 20 is more evidence for Christ’s resurrection.
Do we have to go beyound the Bible for evidence?
    John 20:20
[20]When he had said this, [h] he showed them his hands and his side. Then [i] the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

Sorry but your wromg about this piece of Burial Cloth! The Bible Clearly States that the face Cloth is seperate from the other wrapings! John 20:3- 7, So Peter and the other disciple went forth, and they were going to the tomb. 4The two were running together; and the other disciple ran ahead faster than Peter and came to the tomb first; 5and stooping and looking in, he *saw the linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in. 6And so Simon Peter also *came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he *saw the linen wrappings lying there, 7and the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself.

there are 3, possibly 4 pieces of cloth buried in the tomb: the sudarium of oviedo was the cloth that covered the face of jesus when he died and was being taken down from the cross and soaking the blood and effusions when he was taken down from the cross. the shroud itself which covered the body, the thin strip of cloth stripped off from the side of the shroud to secure the shroud around the body that you can see was later sewn back, and the short piece of strip of cloth from the shroud that was torn from the side strip to tie the hands together to keep the hands together because of rigor mortis but is evidently lost as the missing piece of the shroud

@@almostthere6098 I find it very sad. Jesus the one who created all things, who came and died for us and has sat down to the hand of the father is not enough. He has promised to never leave us or forsake us. And yet people don't think that is enough. Jesus is holy, a relic or a piece of cloth or statues or other things are just that, things. Only God is holy. If you need help go to Jesus. If you need healing go to Jesus. He is always there for us. I believe it is a slap in the face for Jesus to see us going to things instead of coming to him. He is more than enough and frees us from the need to be religious.

It’s NOT the burial shroud of “Christ” because the “Christ” is the “firstborn of ALL creation” and you cannot fit that into a shroud. Read your Bible. Is the Turin man “Jesus”? That’s another question.
