Wow--almost 3 hours!! What a treat!! I got the Tin Can Knits app and plan to play around with it. I love that you share so many new knitting and yarn places, and your care for all of them. One of these days I would love to attend a retreat on Pender Island!! And, thank you for sharing your sweater "goofs," and helping us all learn from the mistakes we all make!!
Jodie - that decrease ‘bump’ under the arm on your striped jumper - just ‘run it in’ with your sewing machine i.e. just like straightening a seam in sewing. My mum always sewed up all of her knits (that were knitted flat) with her sewing machine - just like sewing woven fabric
Great show, both parts of it. LOL. It wasn't as bad as you thought. The more technology that comes out to make our lives easier also causes lots of stress. You all did very well and as usual, you were entertaining, thoughtful, and informative.
I have a broken shoulder, but as soon as I'm able I will add these knitted knockers to my donation knits. ( I also knit hats for the newborn babies at our local hospita) These are great things we can be doing for others. Thank you for all the charitabl e things you do.
Thank you for these episodes! I look forward to spending time with you every other week (or 3!) and please know you have nothing to apologize for, as you were just trying to bring us some interesting and important content with Tin Can Knits (I downloaded the app, yippee!) but I must admit I think it's just the cutest to hear Tracie say "sorry" - you adorable Canadians!
LOVED the Tin Can Knits internet despite the technical difficulties. I was able to follow, but I know it may have been tough for others. I vote for the iPhone feed, just turn it horizontal so we can see it like the iPad. For me the sound and video is much better. Either way, y’all have my heart ❤
I am knitting the flax sweater by Tin Can Knits and it is my very first sweater i ever make and i have the app and I absolutely love it ! They are amazing !
How on earth can you 2 keep up with everything? Love you both. Im in the US. And love that you appreciate that we can not do it all. AND technology freaks us old people out! So sort of afraid of an app for tin can knits... thanks for listening. You go GIRLS!
I just ordered some of the Range Hinterland yarn. Thank thank you for mentioning this farm. Can’t wait to receive it and start knitting. I’m planning to knit Springfling by The Petite Knitter.
Traci, you really have a good eye for pairing colors! I never would have thought of putting those colors together! But they look amazing together! Super cute hat!
Tracy I made a Rug in the same colors as your Autumn Alpine, lettlopi in barley and scarlet. I wore it to Pick Up Every Stitch on the Thursday of Rhinebeck weekend and got so many compliments on the colors! One woman bought Moondrake in similar colors to make one!
The tin can knits app is awesome!!! I sadly missed the yarn diva kit! It’s already sold out! I hope whom ever wins posts what’s in those bags, inquiring minds need to know!
On a fun note I have knit both the flax light and the flax. Out of 15 sweaters I've knit they are my best fitting.i think it's a wonderful first sweater!
Thank you for supporting Alberta growers and producers! ❤️ We have a small alpaca farm in which we created a program for our son with autism to run. It is hard to make a profit with the cost of feed, shearing and mill costs.
Yarn in stash for two patterns in Great Shetland book. Gotland purchased at Maryland Sheep and Wool; sock yarn from The Woolly Thistle - both next cast-ons.
Well, late to this party 😢. So missed part 1…I’m watching Friday…and confused about Tin Can Knits app….but I’ll try to find more information. Also, where did you go to do class with Joji and ….? Also missed that. I just had cataract surgery and it was good, and easy….but apparently I am missing a lot 🤣. So many ideas, patterns, yarns, places, prizes…I can’t keep up. I know you really are just showing us wonderful ideas, but I appreciated your comments about money and knowing everyone cannot buy everything. 💵💛. If I didn’t have a fixed income…I would be willing to purchase more 😉…lots more. Fun visit tonight, thank you for your time, and energy, and friendship 😊👏🏻💛
Jodi, I seem to remember you had a Love note without the lace. Is this true? Can you explain what you did? Is it as simple as knitting where the lace is?
@grocerygirls I’m having a problem finding your latest episodes! 😢RUclips is Not notifying and when I go to your home page it says 1 month ago. I only found this one through your IG link to latest episode.
traci and Jodi, I just love you ladies! It is a highlight of my week to get to watch you. I wish I could get my sisters to knit so that we could share it the way you do. How can I be eligible for the mitten kit drawing?
The Clay sweater (by Ozetta) you featured at the end of the podcast was not knit in Nutiden or unspun yarn. It is knit in a 3 ply DK yarn by Wool Dreamers.
Jodi, you will wear the crap out of your striped jumper - why don’t you do the bracelet decreases as planned but just decrease 10 st instead of the 18 - that way as Tracie said with rib and smaller needle it won’t pull in ridiculously - can’t wait to see it ❤
Tin Can Knits is awesome 👏 I love the focus on accessibility. Ravelry dropped the ball with their changes limiting accessibility.
Omg ladies, love all of your knit! You’re making me want to knit all of them! Enjoy your podcasts😊
During a difficult time in my life you both make me laugh so much! Thank you lovielies ❤
Thank you for your beautiful Breast Cancer kit, I am a 6 year survivor and this makes me very happy to order for myself, we are all worth it!

The Tin Can Knits app looks so helpful. Always great to visit with you two, sorry technology was giving you such a hard time.
For some reason part 2 takes up the entire window! Love that

I would love the mittens kit. The yarn shop is very smart by making it a mystery as you knit along in the pattern. Great marketing!!
I appreciate all your efforts. I downloaded the app.

Despite the technology issues, this was an amazing podcast.
Yarn in stash for two patterns in Great Shetland book. Gotland purchased at Maryland Sheep and Wool; sock yarn from The Woolly Thistle - both next cast-ons.
How gorgeous are those mittens…sadly (for us) they sold out within a day! How awesome would that be to win it 😊

Jodi, do the Beloved Hat by Tin Can Knits. It's adorable!
The Love Note pattern would be really beautiful in a shawl wouldnt it!

Also just knitted a flax on the app last week for tin can knits
I had 185 kids at my daughter’s in Banff 😊
Thank goodness you are full screen. I didn’t like the squished up screen! 😢
What a stressful day and I commend you for hanging in there!!
Volume is much lower than when you were using the phone.😏 I have it on high.
No sound
The sound is terrible fix your mike please
My sound is just fine in part 2.
BTW, your punctuation is terrible. Fix your writing please!
