Hi Justin , great to hear your memories and I’m pleased to play a part in bringing them back for you. Thanks for commenting and please subscribe for free for more videos to come. 😊👍
Another brilliant video Andy.I worked on a farm at Danbury in Essex in the late 80s.The farmers son in law from Great Waltham in Essex had an 1155 it was used on a mcconnel shakaerator to prepare ground for potatoes. We borrowed it occassioally to pull a set of simba discs we had for our 4wd case 1594.The massey was quite a monster compared to the case.
Hi Michael that’s a great story to hear and thanks for sharing it with me. This tractor was a wolf in sheep’s clothing and romped away with whatever we put behind it on the days of filming. Pleased you enjoyed the video and there’s a beauty coming out next week if I can finish the edit on time. Thanks again for commenting. Andy
Thanks for commenting Shirley, your dad must have had an impressive farm to have 2 of these 1200’s in the 1970’s. The 1200 is my favourite as well. Have you watched my other classic tractors videos, you’ll find the 4840 interesting as it looks like a big 1200 with its articulated steering chassis.😊👍
Growing up I remember a neighbor having one. Depending on the field he was working. He'd hit clay and make that V8 Perkins sing. Miss them days.
