Really enjoying your journey. I appreciate the length of your videos; I generally don't watch any longer than 30 min; 20 min is just right. That said, I'd love to hear more about the Kenai Fjords boat tour. But I see you linked some Google Maps info about the Kenai National Park.
Amazing scenery. It kind of reminds me of the Ice fields parkway between Lake Louise in Banff National Park to the town of Jasper in Jasper National park.
They have a similar set up for the Columbia Glacier in Jasper National park with posted years showing where the Glacier has been over the years. When I first drove up to the Columbia Glacier back in 2001/2002, A person could walk up the drumlin and directly onto the ice. Now, the Glacier has receded so much that there is unstable ground between the Drumlin and Glacier. A tour bus still drives up to point further up the glacier where they can walk on the ice. Not sure how long that will last.
Had to stop watching and comment .....Your smile and true LOVE and appriciation of ur surroundings is part of what makes me want to keep watching!!!! So Honoured you have shared this! Thank You🙏🫂🇨🇦
Fantastic video, You have a beautiful talent as a videographer. I've lived in Northern Alberta for 44 years, and now you have me questioning myself why I haven't made the short drive to Alaska!!! What the heck...
It's a nice trip. I'm staying north-east Canada and we could think it's alike but it's not. Alaska seems very special and i think i'll have to drive there later.
i love your excitment. i live in bc and see that type of stuff daily. When i see it thru your eyes i am reminded to not take it for granted. thank you for that!

Hi! Just discovered your channel - enjoying your videos. Lots of back catalogue to watch. On your way back through Canada try a Coffee Crisp chocolate bar, if you haven't tried one yet. Only in Canada. Safe travels.
Back in 2007, I drove out to Tafino on Vancouver Island in BC and was just awestruck. I too took a boat tour but on high speed rubber boat. It was October so the Orcas were already gone but there were still other whales around, I think Pacific Right whales. After whale watching, we went over to a kelp grove where the sea otters were hanging out. The swell picked up so the boat was on the top of one wave while the otters were on top of the other. As we sank down the wave, the otters stretched their necks to watch us. After the otters, a large seal tried to jump into the boat and we explored nearby island full of seals and one with Bald Eagles on it. On the way back to the dock, the sea got rough and very bumpy. I had a fantastic time.
Welcome! Come visit in December, January and February. It’s beautiful in its own way, but the lack of sunshine and daylight can be hard to live through year after year. I Moved here with my horse a year out of High School and been here for 32 years now.
I spent years working in alaska. Its so beautiful there. Glad you drove the old seward highway, a lot places to pull over and look around. Portage glacier was my favorite.
Wonderful video. I love Alaska so much, I would go there every year if I could. Your video really shows the beauty of the place. Glad you enjoyed your trip so much. Thank you!

We picked up the Alaska Highway at Haines Junction YT. It was amazing and we too stopped for the night at Beaver Creek YT. Such wonderful memories and thanks for sharing your beautiful vacation video!!

Watch all your Alaska VLOG. Inspired us to go to Alaska. We are now driving to Alaska. Motels seem hard to find IE some full. What was the water glassier tour in Seward you took. There are several.
Maybe someday you can make it to remote Alaska. Bethel, Kotzebue, Nome, Barrow. This is the lesser known regions but give you. A new understanding of what Alaska is really like
Just the other day it was almost 90degrees and with the sun barely going down that heat can last for over 10 hours a day. In Late December and January though it can easily be -30F for a week on end, and the sun might pop up over the mountain for 3 hours.
After 12 and 1/2 trips up and back, (flew back on the 1/2 trip) your trip was a cake walk compared to my first one. My daughter said, “Dad, there are 2 seasons in Alaska, winter and construction.” My last trip still had some areas between Haines Junction and Beaver Creek, but the area between Toc and Glenallen had a zone heavily heaved and thawed plus earthquake damaged. Found out that area with the most damage was in an earthquake active zone, my son-in-law driving back up home from Spokane bent his camper tie-downs up going over the earthquake damaged area that particular year. Then every time he went over much of a bump, the camper bounced up in the truck bed. My wife and other people who went with me on different trips were totally impressed with the beauty of Alaska and Canada. Wife made 4 different trips with me, then decided that flying was a much better option 😊. Another couple I had worked with before I retired made 2 trips back and forth with me, since, seems no one is really interested in making the trip again 😢. And it’s smart to keep your gas tank full, and would be a good idea to have an extra spare tire, one for sure, but 2 are good insurance, experience taught me that. Seems like you are enjoying the experience, even though it may be tense at times, but you will have great memories for a lifetime 😊.
You need to drive the Sea To Sky Highway - from Vancouver to Whistler. You will see roadside waterfalls, views of mountains and glaciers - and beautiful mountain lakes, bald eagle habitats, bears, elk - and The Black Tusk . . . You really don't have to go as far as Alaska . . .
Yes, and Vancouver Island also has loads of waterfalls, mountains, ocean, and even a glacier within view of one of the oceanside cities. One of the things we always do (when we're not in the middle of a drought), is count all the roadside waterfalls between Nanaimo and Victoria, particularly going over the Malahat Mountain area of the highway. There is an abundance of wildlife on the island also. We frequently have bears and cougars coming into town, even into the heart of Victoria, and marine life that you can easily see from the beaches. Alaska isn't that different, just less people, colder and more rain.
It looks like you had a fair bit of rain on your trip. It might not have been as pleasant.. But the pictures and views over the bays with the low hanging clouds were beautiful. I think I appreciate them more than if it was clear and sunny. Enjoy your trip home.
Yes, this IS all beautiful. I was up there in 1996 and plan to go back next summer. If you enjoyed the scenery here, you would love New Zealand. I recall one stop I made on the South Island where I didn't even bother trying to count the waterfalls in view.
I just retired and have been traveling for two years now in my camper van. Holy crap why didn,t I do this earlier. The whole worlds yours to see. Wasted to much time working and buying crap I didn,t need. Have fun on your travels.
I hope this trip whets your appetite for more travel. I can assure you that there’re beautiful places all over the world and it concerns me that Americans d travel as much as they should. Keep it up I think you are fantastic and so positive about everything. It’s the attitude you need for travel.

Five stars for describing your trek in a positive way. As a single woman traveling to Alaska you did a great job of not whining about temporary problems. I am an veteran of the Alaska Highway. I have such wonderful memories of the beauty and serenity of my trips etched in my mind. A similar trip you may want to consider is the highway south into Patagonia in Chile. Like Alaska, Chile will blow your mind. Never stop being an adventuer, it will keep you young at heart. You can lose all your money but your memories are yours forever.
Thanks for watching! There were a few years of my life where I stopped adventuring. It was terrible! Once I was able to get back to it, I knew I'd never let anything stop me again. Money is a renewable resource. Time is not.
Alaska is One of The Most Majestic Beautiful Places on Earth !! (along side Our Yukon ) ~ Your Vid. is bringing back Beautiful Memories, as One is so far from Home, but the Majesty of IT ALL REMAINS !! :))
Just wait until you get to see the scenery along the main highway through BC to Alaska - I dont know which route you took but you missed the most beautiful part of the Canadian Rockies.
I've only seen your going to Alaska. Don't know if you drove the part of the Alaska Highway on your way back. If you drive back on the Alaska Highway you will see beautiful Muncho Lake and Liard River Hotsprings, a must. Just for your readers there is a gas station, just past the intersection of the Cassiar and the Alaska Highway. Because it is in the Yukon Territory the gas is cheaper. Having driven the Alasksa Highway over 30+ times roundtrip, you missed a lot on the lower part of the higway you bypassed. Also, if you go to Grand Prarie, AB, you can go south to Hinton, AB. From there you can go to Jasper and drive down the spine of the Canadian Rockies through Jasper and Banff.
I did drive the entire Alaska Highway on my way back down. I visited Muncho Lake and Liard River Hot Springs. I also saw Sign Post Forest. I went to Edmonton because I have family there. There is still so much more to see in Alberta though. I'll have to make another trip!
Are you going to visit Whittier and its really cool railroad/vehicular tunnel (the Anton Anderson memorial tunnel)? I've seen it on youtube and there are few things like it.
Alaska could be its own country. I think there was allot of Canadians in the west who felt that Alaska should have been a Canadian province. But the USA was smart and claimed it for themselves (though we all enjoy it) At one time in our group of friends, Alaska still belonged to Siberia, The USA and Canada all at once.
Thanks for the heads up. It is not illegal. You need to have a permit for commercial filming though. I made this video when my channel was still not monetized. Moving forward, I will have to contact any national park ahead of time if I want to film.
Thank you so much! The videos are a couple weeks behind real time due to the time it takes to edit them. I have since been through Alberta. I have family there I hadn't seen in many years, so I stopped briefly for a visit.
So what. The glaciers have been building up for eons and reseeding for eons. This is how Our Creator created this earth and the glaciers. You and I had nothing to do with. Man did not cause climate change, we aren't that powerful. SMH
Oh my gosh. I totally teared up when I heard the whales on the microphone. So beautiful.

Thanks for watching! There were a few years of my life where I stopped adventuring. It was terrible! Once I was able to get back to it, I knew I'd never let anything stop me again. Money is a renewable resource. Time is not.
I say there be gold in them there hills!
nice music!
Alaska is One of The Most Majestic Beautiful Places on Earth !! (along side Our Yukon ) ~ Your Vid. is bringing back Beautiful Memories, as One is so far from Home, but the Majesty of IT ALL REMAINS !! :))
Yes, they are both such beautiful places. Glad I got to see them with my own eyes!
Just wait until you get to see the scenery along the main highway through BC to Alaska - I dont know which route you took but you missed the most beautiful part of the Canadian Rockies.
I hope your packing and have Bear spray!!!
She does not need bear spay inside the car.
@@guayabito6946 ah yes, because people come here to spend the entire time in the car
So cool you've done the drive so many times!
Are you going to visit Whittier and its really cool railroad/vehicular tunnel (the Anton Anderson memorial tunnel)? I've seen it on youtube and there are few things like it.
Sadly, no! There is just so much to do and not enough time on this trip. Just gives me an excuse to come back!
Just an FYI. It is illegal to video within US National Parks.
Thanks for the heads up. It is not illegal. You need to have a permit for commercial filming though. I made this video when my channel was still not monetized. Moving forward, I will have to contact any national park ahead of time if I want to film.
Alone, I don't believe it!
was that a blonde moose??
I passed a moose leaving Exit Glacier, but I'm not sure what kind it was.
Your content and edits are superb. Are you passing through Alberta on your way back south?
I was wondering the same. If so, she should definitely do the Jasper to Banff drive. Plus the Ice-field’s bus tour.
Thank you so much! The videos are a couple weeks behind real time due to the time it takes to edit them. I have since been through Alberta. I have family there I hadn't seen in many years, so I stopped briefly for a visit.
@@LidiaExplores darn I was ready to offer you a Tim's coffee along the way. Are you back in the USA now?
So what. The glaciers have been building up for eons and reseeding for eons. This is how Our Creator created this earth and the glaciers. You and I had nothing to do with. Man did not cause climate change, we aren't that powerful. SMH
