- Neighbors shared their shock on Friday after the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shared details on the moments before officers shot a home invasion suspect in the central valley.
when someone breaks into your home you have right to stand your ground
I agree on a fundamental level, but legally, it depends where you live. Some US states, and I think all of Canada, they will try to prosecute you for defending your property. I would never convict someone for that but there are a lot of crazy people who absolutely would.
When someone breaks into your home while you’re there, you are the first responder.
THIS!!!
Thank you
UNLESS U ARE A DEMONCRAT
Exactly!
Depends on where you live. The Democrats have spread an Army from their California headquarters out to other states to convert them. Soon the rest of the country will be infected by them and start making laws like they have. As you know in Cali. they lock YOU up for protecting yourself and then let the criminal sue you. That's what they want in every state.
I'm so sorry to learn that the perp survived.
If I was there I guarantee he wouldn't

Who would've thought that intoducing a third party to a dangerous situation, one that doesn't know 100% what's going on, their adrenaline rushing from the fear tactics of their training, arm them, and say get the job done, we'll cover you on the legal end, wouldn't have been such a great idea?
He could see the sharp blade was up and could hurt someone trying to get into the home so was picking it up for officer safety should he investigate.

Mental health and homelessness go hand in hand if people can't find a safe place to sleep there mental health goes and then they turn to substances to cope and the two combine to make people do irrational things like this guy .
I doubt this violent offender could safely stay with any family member or in a homeless shelter. He needs to be in an institution or in a jail cell, and he also needs to stop doing drugs and committing crimes.

Las Vegas is one BIG CRITICAL INCIDENT
That would be California!
The logic cannot be disputed… America creates criminals.
The bottom line is homelessness and now homelessness is a crime. If you want to stay a honest homeless person you can but you will still go to jail. To survive on the street today buying and selling drugs is one way to do it even buying and selling guns can work. HUD housing may not want to rent to you if you have a criminal record, and in Tennessee homelessness is a felony. The point I'm trying to make is that innocence is a crime in the same way that sleeping and using the bathroom can land you in jail. These days joining a gang does make sense. The only other thing you can hope for is that you are born in a middle and upper-middle-class family. Protecting money means more in America than protecting people. In grants pass the Supreme Court has made its decision. With property values going up the middle class can hope that they too can be king of their castle with expensive yachts and cars to prove their self worth. Who needs God's protection (inalienable rights) when you can move into a neighborhood with its own private security police force. If you can't afford your own personal police force you can still buy a gun for yourself and who knows, you may be faster on the draw than the criminals trying to break in your home.
What is the amount of homeless in the US
Around one in every 500 Americans was experiencing homelessness in January 2023. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) counted 653,104 homeless Americans in its annual point-in-time report, which measures homelessness across the US on a single night each winter.Mar 28, 2024
where does everybody go?
FAIR Take | January 2024
Late Friday night, the Department of Homeland Security released statistics showing that December 2023 set a new record for illegal entries, capping off the most disastrous year of illegal immigration to the United States.
In December, total nationwide encounters reached a record 371,036, eclipsing the previous monthly record set in September by 30,000. In just the first three months of fiscal year 2024, nearly one million illegal aliens were encountered at our borders, and these figures do not include thousands of ‘gotaways’ who are known to have entered but evaded law enforcement. In just three months are homeless increased from 653,104 to 1,653,104 and if they are found sleeping outdoors they have to go to jail.… It's the law!
