  • We purchased this second hand Can Am Commander 800 not long ago. Ever since we have owned it, it pulls really hard to the right hand side. I spent hours taking measurements of the frame, suspension steering components and more. I did multiple alignments, changed air pressure and more. Still, pulls hard to the right. Finally, I find the issue and it's probably not what you think. 2 minute fix....for REAL!

My 2021 Can Am Defender just got new tires. Same size as yours. My old ones are the same as yours - Maxis Bighorn 2.0. Got new ones Terabyte from Rocky Mountain ATV. Mounted them, aligned them. Started pulling to the right and after several attempts adjusting alignment I went to RUclips for advice and found your vid here. It’s miraculous! I switched my front tires to the opposite side and voila, problem is gone! I did check tire height and didn’t see a remarkable variance. Thanks for this vid! I am relieved my problem is gone.❤

Amazing! I like the Bighorn's they perform well for what I need but this is annoying. I'm about to change tires to soon. I'm really glad this helped you!

You just solved my problem while I'm at my cabin where I don't have the means to correct this. Thanks!

Wow! What a great tip! We sold ours after trying everything and to the dealership who claimed they fixed it! Nice job! First ride today on my 2016 I just picked up, now I'll know if this one acts up! Thank you!

Thanks! I’ve dealt with the same issue. Have the tire pressure the the same on all 4. Can’t wait to measure tire height. Great insight!

That was fascinating and you are brilliant. I wonder if the tire manufacturer gives out this kind of information at point of sale. Can you imagine the cost of having it checked at a dealership for something so trivial? It was lucky that you were able to find another person who had an idea of what might have been the cause. Thank goodness for the internet. I am now wondering if this might be something that may also happen with other recreational vehicle tires.

It is exhausting after a while for sure. I still haven't replaced the tires on mine yet so I still need to monitor the tire pressure really carefully to have a good ride. It's due this spring for some new rubber!! Thanks for watching.

@@NorthernHomeGarage but your front tire have the same size so why juste put more air in the right one ??
