    This video is spot on perfect. His method is very easy to do. Took me ten minutes to align both sides (of a Polaris Ranger 1000) and now she drives straight and does not wander. Thank you!

    Will that string method work if the rear wheels are wider than the front?

      If they are close to the same size, then yes. If your running very wide rear tires, then probably not.

      @DeanoOutDoors I'm having hell on earth trying to adjust my atv wheels...but at this point I'm waay more wiser and knowledgeable about all of this...

      If back are wider than front you can still use string method by barely letting it touch the outside of the back wheels. Then the front probably won't be touching but you can measure the distance at the back and front of the front tire and adjust until the measurements to the string are the same.

    On a 4x4 ATV should the front wheels be toe'd out ?

    • @DeanoOutDoors
      @DeanoOutDoors  2 года назад

      If it's full time 4x4, then slightly toed out is fine. Generally, slightly toe-in or even gives better performance.

      Okay , Mine is all-time 4x4 i was told to set the front wheels to toe out about 1/8 inch is that correct ?

    How do we adjust the tow?

    You want the string in the middle of the wheel. You have it a bit low
