Heard about the carbon monoxide case already, not only it's a very curious one, but it probably also made many other people get CO detectors when this case went viral, making people be safer and maybe saving another unknown life. All in all, a story with good ending :)
I definitely am one of the people that got a CO detector because of that case. It stuck in my head like the fear of quicksand does in any kid's head because of cartoons. It hasn't gone off yet but I'm glad I see the little green light every time.
What is it with these mystery/horror RUclipsrs just popping in with pro-level editing and content? Chill Fuel, Nexpo, Barely Sociable, Atrocity Guide, and ReignBot all just sort of showed up with top-notch visuals, excellent voice over, and fantastic editing. Someone should make a mystery investigation video about that.
while Chill Fuel is fairly new (I think he showed up in a collab last year and that's how he caught attention), Nexpo and Barely Sociable have been around for a while
You left out the best part of the Man From Taured mystery! While there is no country called "Taured," Tamanrasset is a real city in Algeria - and it's home to a lot of people of *Tuareg* ethnicity. That's got to be where the imaginary country name came from, via a game of telephone.
Thanks for sharing the answer about the Man from Taured, this one really bugged me because I was sure there had to be a reasonable explanation to it, but I could not find it anywhere! Just theories about alternate dimensions etc
it's just hitting me how ...revolutionary the carbon monoxide case is. it's now step 1 to figuring out what's causing weird things happening around houses
Love how you represent the people on screen, and actively X them out or add more people as a story progresses. Those little small things REALLY suck me and get me glued to the video lol. Great stuff!!
Although I've already heard 4 of these before, I think its interesting to take a look back on them. Reddit gets such a bad wrap for mystery solving now that we forget how much of a force of good it really can be. I actually didn't know the first one had been resolved and it was by far my favorite to hear the resolution on. Good video, with incredible production quality and thought! No BS, just the facts.

The Taured story while upsetting is as mundane as I expected it to be, I'm glad has some sort of answer. Sure "con artist" is nowhere near as entertaining as "interdimensional jumper" but at least we still have that fun story regardless
Opened up RUclips for a vid to watch while makin soup, saw you’d posted, and looked no further, haha. Fantastic vid! I already knew about two of these (the grateful doe and the post-it one) but it was cool seeing them discussed again! I’d seen the FBI one before too but not the resolution, so that was neat. Love your videos! Keep up the great work!
I hope to see more of these from you in the future. I had no idea the man from taured mystery was solved, learning the truth of that was cathartic. This was a great video as always.
i had just thought that the story was completely made up! cool to know that in a small way, it was true. it's just that the man was a con artist and not a dimension hopper 😄
I swear I said as I clicked on this video “It’s going to be another Grateful Doe including video isn’t it? AND THEN IT’S THE MAN FROM TAURED 😭😭💗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I had 2 cases solved in this group 1 was in less than 12 hours while the other one in just 10 minutes! I'm not sure what kind of detectives they have there but all of my kudos to them!
That FBI one was genuinely scary. i mean the implication is that the surveillance was clearly based solely on his religious beliefs. Because he just happens to be the son of a religious leader. Doesn't matter, if the guy was good or bad, they just generally started spying on him on a "suspicion" based solely on his religious afflictions. This reminds me of that one case where a man (who was later found to have his life taken from him) was identified as a T-word just because of his ethnicity and religious afflictions. And his death was also an act of racism iirc. This was during the London bombings. A similar case has happened in reddit too iirc. And yet, documents from fbi and cia show that they have tabs on any and ALL T-words across the world and had prior knowledge on all attacks (and in great details i might add). But they do nothing with that information. Weird huh?
I believe it was justified. It's very clear that the guy's father was a terrorist, likely Al-Qaeda or Taliban. And seeing how families work in the middle east, it was very likely his son was sympathetic, or even active in his father's activities. As long as they had a court order to surveil him, it was a good thing to do. It's how another 9/11 doesn't happen.
Just came across your videos sir and just had to say your content is super interesting and well published..it's not easy to find genuinely creepy stuff so yeah I'm a fan..
man I've been wondering about the man from Taured and wanted to actually ask about it to some staffs at Haneda airport as it's something that said that happened in my country lol
The existence of the Internet brings with it pros and cons. Among the cons are Internet addiction, social media, pornography, doxxing, and cyberstalking. But the pros - among many, but specifically in this case, solving murder mysteries and revealing the identity of John and Jane Does - outweigh the cons.
I'm sorry, but "The Grateful Doe" is hilarious! I'm guessing that Cops and pathologists have to have a grim sense of humour in order to be able to do their difficult job.
It seems I found another gem amongst... The not so gem-like here on RUclips (I don't want to be too scathing 🙃) excuse me while I subscribe and binge watch your vids, good gentleman.
I kinda wish mysteries like the man from Taured would never have been solved. It is just so much more fun to believe that he might have slipped through dimensions, isn't it?
I’m pretty sure I was part of the original CO case discussion, although my entry to the discussion was quite late, just shortly after the advice about CO possibility was raised. In fact, subsequent to that, we were able to help someone else by referring them to this case. Seeing the severity of what could actually happen from CO toxicity, the person was motivated to look into it as a possible explanation for their particular problem (which involved weird hallucinations and other stuff). In the end, it turned out this person had the same problem and it was ultimately dealt with and he recovered ok. So the famous incident has gone on to help others as well, by being a good example that others can look to when they are experiencing otherwise unexplainable problems and are frightened.

There's a ton of talent out there, it just needs some nourishment and an outlet. RUclips doesn't deserve many of its content creators.
I think they are all probably some sort of AI. It’s the only way that it would make sense for them all to appear like this out of nowhere.

The CO case makes me terrified. If that random commenter didn't get that idea, OP would have legit died or significantly reduced his lifespan.
Regarding the first mystery, it's worth noting that Tamanraset is a state in the southern Sahara region of Algeria.
