Yep, my mom (ESTJ) is a real people person and you'd almost think she was an ESFJ. But when you listen carefully you figure out she isn't. ESTJs can have a really good "DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING" mode too, when they've finished everything they need to do.
I've never been quite able to figure out whether my mom, who tested as ESTJ, really is that type or not. I've ultimately come to the conclusion she is just really balanced, though I do think she borders somewhat on ESFJ. :-)
@@nerysghemor5781 Te can seem pretty similar to Fe. Both are problem solving functions, who often will focus on the problems of others. Fe will focus more on the emotional side of things, trying to solve the emotional climate, harmony or individual people's emotions and Te will focus more on the classical sense of problem solving, either of individuals or whole groups (such as work). So Te doms, often try and solve other people's problems, but depending on how healthy they are they can either do it in a domineering way (Gordon Ramsay), do it in a calm, cold and collected way (most common type of Te dom) or even in a warm way (when they are comfortable enough to show their Fi). But main way to tell a Te dom, is that even if the problem is internal (such as emotional) they will focus on solving it externally, via either doing things for you, helping you solve real life problems, finding solutions. They are the most natural problem solvers. So a healthy Te dom can seem like a healthy Fe dom, but you will notice they focus much much more on solving external problems instead of internal ones.
@@farrex0 Ultimately I’d say my mom does go the external solutions route but is very balanced and healthy so she doesn’t feel a need to hide her feelings too much.
