It's more like the concept of multitasking than actualy doing different things at the same time.
It's more like, we are doing one thing physically and at the same time we do like five different things in our head simultaneously.
That's although the reason, why to other people we look like we are daydreaming/distract, or like only 50% engaged with the subject at hand.

From one Kevin to another, your videos are amazingly well done, and the manner in which you've tied them all together within one fictional company is really clever. I'm really surprised that you don't have a larger following and more views. I'm hoping these will occur with more time. Keep up the good work!

    • @wynstansmom829
      @wynstansmom829 3 года назад +3

Kevin has te-rrific content. Here in you tube town, its a bit like the lottery effect with millions of videos uploaded daily. The More TickEts, a content creator buys, the more viewers find his channel. We can help (not just hope, lol) by subscribing and mentioning his name on the other Typology community channels.
I have been sprinkling his name as often as I can. And I often subscribe to the regular viewers on the channels where I spend my 'precious' in the hopes of promoting their quality conte-nt.
Flatland is not as intuitive as one might think (or feel).

The Introverted Thinking Type, Carl Jung Psychological Types.
"Just as Darwin might possibly represent the normal extraverted thinking type, so we might point to Kant as a counter-example of the normal introverted thinking type.
The former speaks with facts; the latter appeals to the subjective factor.
Darwin ranges over the wide fields of objective facts, while Kant restricts himself to a critique of knowledge in general.
But suppose a Cuvier be contrasted with a Nietzsche: the antithesis becomes even sharper."
Te-rrific take on Ti, It's Just Kevin.
My son is an INTP. As a child, we had to explain to him that if he asked his grandmother

Personality "types" arrived at via the Myers-Briggs test are completely meaningless. The test was developed in the 1940s based on the totally untested theories of Carl Jung and is now thoroughly disregarded by the psychology community. Even Jung warned that his personality "types" were just rough tendencies he'd observed, rather than strict classifications. Several analyses have shown the test is totally ineffective at predicting people's success in various jobs, and that about half of the people who take it twice get different results each time.
Jung's principles were adapted into a test by Katherine Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers, a pair of Americans who had no formal training in psychology. To learn the techniques of test-making and statistical analysis, Briggs worked with Edward Hay, an HR manager for a Philadelphia bank. This isn't a test designed to accurately categorize people, but rather a test designed to make them feel happy after taking it. This is one of the reasons it's persisted for so many years in the corporate world after being disregarded by psychologists.

There is a distinction to be made that LOTS of people who make MBTI videos or videos on "type" seem completely unaware of. Its this: Yes, I'm generalizing but still...everybody-and-their-dog is harping/instructing about FUNCTIONS, and they call it MBTI but it isnt.
Pick YOUR personal FIVE favorite online RUclips MBTI "content-creators" and I'll bet there isnt one who doesnt talk about FUNCTIONS. But---
Take yer TOP 5 favorite Type people online. Have ANY of them read "Gifts Differing" by Isabel Myers-Briggs? Im betting not one of them has. I'd be quite surprised. Functions are mentioned in that book, but its short, and brief, almost in passing. Noooowhere near the relentless harping and emphasis we see online today. So where did all this function-stuff come from?
You also wont find it in the book TYPE TALK by Kroeger and Theussen.
You wont find it in LIFE TYPES by Hirsch & Kummerow (another researched and leading MYERS-BRIGGS book. We now have THREE authoritative books on type and very very little on functions....again where did all this function-mania come from?Think of the last TWENTY ttype videos you've listened to. Yes, that many. Has even ONE of them listed/mentioned/Named even one of the three books I've mentioned? I'm betting not any of them have.
Go back to 2010 on RUclips and an ENTJ video by Mike Adams. Here's the link: @
Do you hear him going on and on and on about "introverted sensing, extroverted intuition, etc? Nope. He talks about "the 4 letters" of type.
So how did we get to all the stuff we CALL MBTI today, but is really just...Functions. People today talk waaayyy more about functions than Isabel myers-briggs ever did?
My own belief is....probably a little after Mike Adams's videos, some guy came along who went by the name of Dave Superpowers. AT THE TIME, there was farrrrr less "competition" on the web, alot of people never read or heard of the 3 books i mentioned and many folks had not discovered Mike Adams's videos, either. So-o...many folks simply weren't more aware...and along comes this Dave Superpowers with a large flurry of videos--POW---and, he also spoke a bit too fast. He was kinda hard to follow, seemed like he had info, but no one really challenged him (hardly anyone was doing mbti videos then, compared to now), so folks just bought into it cuz:
    A) they didnt know any better
    B) they hadnt read the books
    C) "dave" had very little competition and made alot of videos so he sorta dominated --and people didnt know otherwise.
His videos likely were seen by many (not a whole lot else out there on youtube at the time), so people believed it, and from (approximately) 2014 to today, people likely came across his videos, didnt read the books and THEY started making videos about Functions, then some of their followers made youtube videos and repeated what they were taught and so on...and sure enough---
everybody-and-his-dog is talking about functions these days. But it isnt really MBTI. Its just....Functions. Myers-Briggs was the 4 letters (I refer you back to the ENTJ Mike Adams video which was in 2010. We weren't all strung-out on "Function-itis" then. I haven't heard Frank James mention even one of the three books on Type. Who taught him? Function-mania likely "lasted" til now, because people can always be politically-correct, hold their head up high and say with functions they are "going deeper". It sounds more "beyond beginner level" doesn't it? But they didnt get it from the books. The are "parroting" a guy who got lucky in the beginning and didnt have alot of competition. My opinion.
Anyone is welcome to prove me wrong. I can take it. I just wish people would call it what it is and be honest. And bother to look. And trace some history. ---"Rock ON!"

Subtly showing that you are playing video games while at work is another INTP trait - dislike of rules/authority. In fact, here is an actual dialog that I (an INTP) had regarding COVID masks.
Store Clerk: Excuse me sir, but do you have a mask?
Me: Yes, it's in my pocket.
Store Clerk: Well sir, would you mind wearing it?
Me: Why, is your mask not working?
    Store Clerk: Excuse me?
Me: Is your mask not working? If it is not working, then I suggest that you get a new one or just simply not wear one because it doesn't work.
Store Clerk: (Getting frustrated) I am sorry sir, but we require everyone to wear masks in this store for the safety of others and in in accordance to CDC rules.
Me: But if everyone's masks work, then there shouldn't be a safety concern. And if the masks were proven ineffective, which they had, then why continue to wear them?
Store Clerk: I am sorry sir, it is our store policy to require that everyone wears a mask inside the showroom. If you are not going to wear a mask, then I'll have to ask you to leave.
Me: Well, since I am being asked to leave, please cancel my order under number #### that I was about to pick up from your store and you can explain to your manager why you just cost your company thousands of dollars. Good day. (Note: The sale was for a pair of new jet skis and accessories.)
