My wife still works...very hard. I was put out to pasture by my company after 25 years. You have helped me learn how to not look at home cleaning & management as a chore but a mission of love. Thank you so much , David

Love you so much Marla. You have no idea how it makes me feel to know that you love all of us and care about our "little" problems. You've changed my life so I can love myself and my family better.

This makes me cry purple tears!! I’m so proud I accidentally found Flylady looking online for a way to clean my house in 2000. I have been reading her emails, decluttering and keeping my house clean using her suggestions and system ever since! Love Marla and have come to know and love her family and friends along this nearly 20 year journey! Hugs!!!

I like that this lady is REAL and that is really refreshing! I think the most important thing that she has incorporated into her system is that it's not just about cleaning, but rather, about a paradigm shift in thinking. I don't know if the flylady is in favor of every member of the household having chores, but I was raised that way and I expect nothing less. I remember my Mom saying that every member of the family had to earn their keep and that housework had to be done daily. We didn't have a perfectly clean home all of the time, but it was clean and the really important things were done. I began to struggle when I got married because I work 12-hour nursing shifts and nurses do not have the option of telling their employers that they can't work 12-hour shifts or that they can't work nights, weekends or holidays. No. People are sick 24/7, 365 days per year and of course, we all live somewhere 24/7, 365 days per year. While I would say I do most of the the cooking and more of the in-depth cleaning, I expect other members of the household to take their turns with laundry, dishes and some degree of cooking. These things are life-skills that everyone needs to master before leaving home and we do children NO FAVORS by doing 100% of housework! My husband helps because I work 48-60 hours a week and was sick all of the time and burning the candle at both ends. I was able to make it work for a long time until I was hit with a very serious auto-immune disease---Rheumatoid arthritis. My body wasn't cooperating with the things I wanted to get done and this made me feel terrible. I am very glad that my husband was willing to help me because I often experience flares which causes me to be out-of-service for about two days. I don't expect him to make a meal like I would and I don't expect the laundry to look as though it was just delivered from a 5-star laundry service. I didn't even expect him to fold the laundry, but he does! I think it's important to talk back to that little voice in our heads that says, "If it's not perfect, it's not good enough." It's also very important not to compare your house to someone else's. EVERY family is different, every home is different. The most important thing is to make improvements that help you make your home manageable. Thank you, Flylady!

I love this video! I love you , in a very lost and lonely moment I watched this video and I found a friend. You are wonderful and help keep me on track. We moved to the country and I have no friends. I have you and I watch you each morning and then I am up and flying. I prayed for you and I thank God for you. Thank you for helping me and all the other women you help. Your in my prayers.

I need this so much again. I've read Sink Reflections. I've used your routines. I've lost a lot of the good habits, and lately been struggling with depression again more than usual. But now going to jump in where I am. My sink is shining. My shoes are tied to my feet. This is the first time I've seen this video, and I'm going to share it with whomever I can. Thank you Marla!

I have known about you, Marla, since 2002, from a few friends at work. I secretly read everything you posted and started out on a new road to loving myself and keeping myself organized. Somehow, through the everyday events of life, I forgot about FLYing and just this morning I work up wondering how you were. I was so very happy to see that not only were you still around and still helping, but FLYlady had grown into something even more spectacular! I am so grateful for your caring & persistence!

I may not agree with some of her political views, but my Lord!!! I am so very grateful to have found her, and her system. Marla gave me back my sanity and a sense of control. I've been a flybaby for six years now, and I'm still far from perfect. However, Marla's mantras of 'jump in where you are", and ' progress over perfection' are game changers. She understands overwhelm and CHAOS, and lovingly helps you to improve. Love her and forever grateful to her xxx oh, wow! I'm really crying now!

Flylady i am trying. My friend introduced me to you as i live in chaos in my bedroom, my bed is full of stuff "yes stuff" nothing in particular i literally have just enough room to get under the sheets. I tell my kids to clean there rooms now they are teens they are saying that my room is worse than there's. Flylady i am starting with the baby steps i did manage to clear my bed last week first time in 5 years but the stuff is back again. I will promise now to follow your instructions.
