From the PR works that RE did for the past couple of months , they were able to create a feeling among the community that the new Himalayan 450 will be a revolutionary bike in the segment . We all know about the countless positives/pros of the bike. Please make an informative video about the negatives of the bike for the potential buyers. Including the vibrations from this single cylinder engine, real life mileage if you push the bike etc etc. no bike is perfect. I own a Himalayan 411 and a D400.
The main con of this bike is its weight. But it's also a pro since it makes you feel rock solid in highways. There is noticeable vibrations post 5k rpm and it eases down after 6k. You can still feel in tank and footpeg. But it's not too annoying.

@@Quenchedfooty every single cylinder engine producing power in this range obviously will have vibrations. Even duke and d400 has vibrations(buzzing) at a particular rpm range. This buzzing is different from the vibrations that old himalayan used to produce at speeds above 110kmph. Both are different. Anyway , if its city use , this bike will not serve the purpose . Choose a bike which suits your purpose.

I have IC650, i am 5.4 -5.5 ft, weight 65-67 kgs. I am sure i will be able to handle it well,waiting for Bulu Bhaina's low seat height review. Touring, i am sure i will love this, as the only hindrance in my tours with IC650 was fuel range meter. I stop only for food and fuel, and address nature calls during those stops. 450 kms range, i am sure i will need only 1 stop.

Flickering occurs when the camera and the focused electronic objects have different frequencies. It’s normal. Neither instrument panel, nor your camera have any issue.
450-500km endurance means not carrying those jerrycans in ladakh😅 For touring, instead of kmpl i do Rs/km calculation. Odisha-ladakh and back is 6000km...plus i keep track of fuel expenditure. Over big distances the calculation is easy and accurate. In 2015 my 500 used to cost Rs.2.35 per km This year Intercptr cost was 3.90 per km
My Tiger 900 GT is giving 20+kmpl on highway at 120-135kmph with pillion and luggage. Not surprised if himalayan is giving close to 30. Modern engines are far more refined and optimised. Definitely how you treat your bike in every gear also matters. It will be interesting to see if the mileage remains same with pillion and luggage.
I saw the motorcycle yesterday at dealer. It looks too big and feels heavy too. I am not sure if this will be good for everyday like the existing 411. I am thinking to wait for scram or to go for triumph speed or scrambler

I love this bike but scared to buy one because of stupid auto drivers n other nuisance riders n drivers which I feel unsafe on road, because of them I was not able to buy any two wheeler. Recently I personally seen people getting hurt even after keeping their vehicle halted on side of road and even at the signals autos rickshaws are crashing into halted vehicles
I don’t understand this man. How can a big company like RE carry out such a shitty management. How the hell are accessories delayed so much when they could literally get the whole bike out of production line? How da hell tubeless spokes still missing when they could get the export license approval?

I think all screen flickers above certain shutter speed. This isn't an issue. It depends on screen refresh rate (FPS).

If you camera is set at higher refresh rate ie hz then it will capture screen flicker, its about refresh rate not frame rate

Bro you dont need to buy the lower seat, it is adjustable, so you can just take the seat off and change the adjustment

Short seat will be very very hard as cushioning is bare minimum. See the one on VSTROM 250 :-(

The same seat can be lowered, there are two sticks under the seat, reposition them and the seat height lowers.
This seat is 825 min to 845 max
For 805mm it's accessory seat
