Lucifer told Ella he was the Devil to prove to Chloe that she wouldn't believe him so he can't be accused of trying to keep it from her.
Actually he can be accused. Its not far fetched to not believe someone that he's the devil just because he tells you. That would be naive and irrational. What Lucifer should have done is to show her his devil face or his wings. Some proof that what he is saying he is true. But the way he did he left out valuable informations.
In Lucifer's defense, he *DID* tell Ella that he was the devil -- at least twice -- in the opening episodes for both seasons 2 and 4. In Season 4, now that Chloe knew, he laid it all out -- him being the angel that led a rebellion, Amenadiel being an angel, the whole package. She *CHOSE* to regard it as a joke!
Her complaint should have been that she *WAS TOLD* but not *SHOWN!*
Ditto for Chloe. Remember the _DeckerStar_ dialogue just before they learned of Charlotte's death?
_"Detective ... Chloe ... I _*_AM_*_ the devil."_
_"No you're not. Not to me."_
And just minutes before she *FINALLY* learned the truth?
_"That's not how I see you."_
Minutes later ..
_"Maybe I've been avoiding the biggest truth ..."_
Finally,
_"It's all true. It's all true."_
The wedding scene was so amazing
To be fair, Lucifer's been telling her the truth since she first got the job! Ella's just always thought he was a method actor. It just sucks that she finally figures out he was telling the truth, now that the show's almost over!
He could've proven it though, he knows when he tells people that he's the devil no one actually believes him, he has to prove it to actually "tell"/show them
It's one of the ways he lies without actually lying

Rory refusing his dad to go get costumes for a wedding and then blaming him for not showing up is such a Lucifer thing to do 😏

I just decided to binge your S6 reactions, and I have to say you guys have incredible insight, calling out alot of stuff before it's revealed.
It was great to see Scarlet Estevez here, as brief as it was. It's too bad she's full time on another show plus all the C19 restrictions make it difficult to give her much to do. I wish they did more to mention her during the show just to acknowledge she still plays a part in Chloe's life

I am so happy for Mazeve. Maze was alone and felt undeserving of love but now she has a wife and she is her soulmate. And for Eve last time she was with someone it was with a man she didn't chose. This time she was with a woman she chose! They are one of the best crafted LGBTQ+ love stories and I can’t thank Lesley-Ann & Inbar for fighting so hard to make it feel so sweet and natural. This relationship means so much to me as a member of the lgbtq+ community 🥺🤧❤️
Well I'm not like you, but I also shipped them and I'm happy for both of them. They really look very natural and so in love, thanks Lesley and Imbar, they are great actresses and the chemistry between them is amazing 💖🔥
Just coz this couple was LGBTQ+ does not automatically makes them likable for everyone. Writing wise, I found eve to be pretty annoying and did not care much for her. Calling them best crafted LGBTQ+ love stories? Yeah thats a big NO. Maze and eve for a lot of times felt forced and too quick.
@@hasan_1888 lol it's your opinion. I liked them despite they are lesbian couple. And their relationship isn't forced, it was clear from s4 that they like each other.
Plus your dislike for Eve make you dislike this couple. I liked her, she wasn't annoying and was great complement to the all gang and the cast too. She's a good actress

@@oxanatarashchuk4598 rorys as scared of opening up to lucifer as he was to Chloe at the start. She swallowed enough of her pride to turn up, because he said he’d be there. He wasn’t and she was hurt by it, even if he didn’t mean to upset her.

I might be in the minority but I did not really care or like eve that much nor the eve-maze relationship. I am very happy for Maze though☺️. She had great character development after being annoying in s5 part 1.
Rory skyrocketed up my favorite character list so fast. She's made top three off of one season. Maze, Lucifer, and Rory is my top 3. I'm a episode 1 Maze fan so there is no way she is getting dethroned by anyone. Rory and Maze have such similar personalities. You can tell Maze was a huge part of Rory life.
She learned a lot from Auntie Maze 😂
