"That seems really dark."
You're misunderstanding me, bro.
So they ARE in danger?!?
Views to like ratio is crazy. 😂
Did you pin your own comment
Dudes be datk like that
Everyone loves this scene. I mean, they would never dislike it. Because of the implication
Uh, ok. What implication?
Well done sir...well done
Are you gonna hurt these commenters or....?
But it sounds like these commentors don't want to like this scene..
No he's not going to hurt the hurt the commentators. He won't have to because of the implication.
Dennis clenching his jaw after saying “because of the implication” will never fail to make me laugh. Bro might actually a serial killer 😂
he is most definitely a serial killer

One of the greatest scenes in tv history. The way Glenn instantly slides into that dead behind the eyes look is some amazing acting. We love our favorite sociopath.
His Juilliard training has really paid off!
@@prathapkutty7407 Glenn “Juilliard” Howerton.
His eyes are completely dead but he also tenses his jaw perfectly to show us that his evil brain is very excited for the implication.
God!!he would have been an amazing homelander. What a missed opportunity😢😢😢
@@ranigautam2523 isn't he too small for homelander? I rather he played reed richards.
The fact that they referenced they wanted “a P.Diddy style yacht” situation several times at the beginning of the ep and then gave us this brilliant Implication scene… you can’t tell me the industry hadn’t heard what the Diddler was up to YEARS ago
Its not just diddy though. These yacht parties still happen all the time for the sole intent on doing things like they mentioned in the scene. Hilarious scene but terrifying IRL
@@xxstealerxx Not always for that. Sometimes Yachts are for throwing your wife overboard and saying she fell off while drunk.

The implication of danger.
NO, it's an implication of danger🙄
Oh good, you watched it too.
@@templetonbob Hey, Bob. Need a hug?
@Gorvinhagen he needs an implication. Idk how to do this properly.
The way he clenches his jaw after the second "implication" always gets me
Great observation and subtly
Bc he's switching from Dennis... To DEADass serious Dennis
The way Mac gets increasingly worried about the implication always kills me.
"So they are in danger!"
“You’re misunderstanding me bro.”
I’m, I think I am…
Yeah, you are.
Because if the girl said no then the answer obviously is no, but the thing is she’s not gonna say no, she would never say no, because of the implication
@_@
Now… you’ve said that word “implication” a couple of times, wh… what implication?
The implication that things might go wrong for if she refuses to sleep with me. Not that things are gonna go wrong for her, but she's thinking that they will.
Rob McElhenny does a great job making this scene become more than the sum of its parts.
He really convincingly sells the public context of the conversation, making Dennis seem that much more villainous. And Dennis is so comfortable with his villainous motives that the public setting doesn’t remotely factor into how he tries to explain them.
And he’s SO comfortable with his motives that not only is he willing to discuss ‘the implication’ while he knows an old lady and complete stranger is listening a couple feet away, but he’s even willing to address her and provide HER with an explanation, too. 😂
@@Colinkrauss1 🤓
@@emrickdelorme400why are you booing him he’s right
The straight man* is relatively easy job compared to the role Glenn is playing. But when the straight man is done well like Rob is doing here it makes the difference between good comedy and GREAT comedy.
*which I obviously only mean in a comedic, Dean Martin sense when I’m talking about Mac.
Because of the implication
The thing that's really special about this show is the rhythm of the conversations, the way they talk over each other, react to each other mid sentence, the silences, speeding up and slowing down. It's a symphony.
It's like
A CONVERSATION IN REAL LIFE!
Yeah, the only other thing I can think of that gets this right is The Big Lebowski, and maybe some of Quentin Tarantino's work.
Yeah, it reminds me Tarantino
@@EarthwormShandy Yeah, and sadly, something that 90% of series can´t achieve. Specially comedy/sitcoms series. Let´s look at Friends for example. I love Friends, but almost every conversation seems unnatural.
Comedic timing at it's finest.
My favorite part is how Mac looks away after the second implication. Totally portrays the sinking gut feeling.
I think Rob is trying to avoid breaking, which is completely understandable given Glenn's delivery and the lines.
Dennis' serial killer stare when he says "implication" adds an extra layer of creepiness.
It's the clenched jaw that really gets me lmao
Masterclass in acting. The jaw clench and serial killer eyes when he says "implication" again lmao
The thing about the iasip gang is that they are all crazy but on different spectrums so they are also crazy to each other
Lol they really do all have their own special kinda crazy going on
Underrated comment
Yeah, depending on the context, any one of the main characters can come across as the reasonable one while the others are being crazy. But then in the very next scene it can be flipped the other way
Everybody has a different flavor of crazy
They all represent mental disorders or forms of psychopathy
Glenn Howerton and the writing/script are so fantastic here that usually everyone overlooks how good Rob/Mac did in this scene.
Love everything about this scene but what truly gets me is that Mac is trying *so* hard to understand.
@@jslvee0Of course he is. He’d never want to admit to not understanding.
Because of the implication.
rob's reactions make scenes more often than not 😂 guys got such good physical comedy
@@eighteen-naked-cowboys Rob is a cornerstone piece of the show. He's not as impactful in his own scenes but it adds an angle to them. Like, this one. He was us, the viewers.
I could swear that Rob is on the verge of breaking several times in this scene, and he touches/covers his face as a coping mechanism.
This scene is iconic because of Glenn's delivery, but Rob's little delicate reactions are what make this SO funny to me. The turn of the head with his finger. The look behind his eyes as hes straining trying not to disagree.
I know he's so sheepish because he's afraid to outright reject what Dennis is saying. When he winces and brings his hand to his neck at 1:26 it cracks me up.
Mac's uncomfortable ear scratch while leaning back ever so slightly from Dennis' sudden shift in a more aggressive tone and approach always gets me lmao
Mac's uncomfortable body language throughout the scene really helps make it that much more hilarious.
Also Dennis's glassy eyed creep stare at 1:07 is classic.
I love how at first, Mac was with Dennis when he was talking about seducing ladies on their boat, and only stopped to question it once he heard about… the implication.
The way Mac recoils when Dennis gets frustrated was perfect.
Glenns eyes, every time he says 'implication', send fear running through my immortal soul. What a great actor!
I mean, you wouldn't not complement Glenn's acting. Because of the implication.
I’m a big fan of this show and so I showed my friend this clip. She doesn’t really watch it, but she knows about it and she knows how much I like it. I know she didn’t really get it, but she laughed anyway
Because of the implication.
Stop😂😂
Well played. 😂
Was she in any danger?
You had me up until that last word

1:26 The way Mac backed up looking scared, moved his hand behind his back quickly was acting gold from Mac aks Rob . Lol 😂

The way the animation abruptly leaves his face when he says implication is terrifying alone. That's what makes this hilarious.
seriously, one of the greatest scenes of any show, ever. it captures the spirit of the show, and at the same time its just completely new, original, and just two stellar performances by glenn and rob. kudos
I love this scene because it's Dennis spending 2 minutes trying to justify creating a dangerous environment for women as long as he doesn't do anything dangerous himself.
“So they are in danger?”
Perfect..
Jerry Seinfeld says his show couldn’t be made today.
Meanwhile here’s It’s Always Sunny which still airs and is beloved to this day:
Always sunny is said to be the Seinfeld of today.
Jerry Seinfelds IMPLICATION was "It couldn't be made today to the same broad mass appeal and commercial success. See Sunny.

True sociopath psychology
I legit had a fuckin friend like Dennis once. Never again lmao
The follow up scene on the dock is good too where Dennis is still trying to convince Mac he's not a murder, and feels terrible.
My friend got invited on a boat by this billionaire-esque dude (who knows, might all be rented), I showed her this scene. She did not go on the boat.

“You’ve said that word… a couple of times… what do you mean by, implication…” “are you gonna hurt these women??”

Glenn Howerton school of line delivery
The greatest sitcom ever to grace television! Period.
Truly one of the greatest scenes ever filmed.
The way Mac cowers in fear at 1:25 lol
Mac is almost as uncomfortable with the explanation as a girl would be in the actual situation.
That's how dark Dennis's scheme is. It's making his equally degenerate partner in crime squirm.
What really makes this show so great is how well the actors sell their characters being absolutely deranged, Glenn looks like an actual serial killer here
"Because of the implication"
*Immediate serial killer face*
I love how irritated Dennis is that Mac doesn't get it.

I need someone to edit in vinebooms every time Dennis says implication
This show consistently chooses the _perfect_ time to jump in with the music. Like 80% of it is straight ambient noise where you genuinely don't know what anything means right away; and then the music starts the exact second the characters decide to just nope out of whatever it was
