    The only problem I have with the FFB is the lack of “feedback” when the wheel is close to center, particularly at slow speed corners. This deadzone bug you speak of would definitely explain that. I was driving myself crazy trying to figure out why the car suddenly feels “weightless” at certain points while cornering, thanks!

      Add about 2 or 3% Minimum Steering Torque in the in-game force feedback settings. Ignore the message that says it’s not for direct drive wheels. Seems like that was a mistake and will be fixed soon.
      This setting made a huge difference for me.

    I have had no luck, getting games like this set up on PC, I have a fanatic CSL DD and I am blown away with how many parameters need to be entered and tweaked before you turn a wheel. I tried asseto corsa, dirt rally 2.0, beamng, I gave up, plugged my wheel into Gran Turismo 7 and enjoyed life again.

    Steering Torque Sensitivity should not be used for DD wheels according to the text displayed for this setting. Are you sure it must be put on 100%?

    • @MichiHoyer
      @MichiHoyer  6 месяцев назад +1

      Give it a try. I have received reports of the FFB not working if put to 0 on direct drive wheels - personally I have it on 100 % and it works for me

      Yes can you confirm? It is lifeless when turned down so perhaps the explanation from fanatec is wrong?

    • @Typhozii
      @Typhozii 6 месяцев назад +3

      It works like a coefficient, so 100% is the "normal" setting. You increase past 100%, it will be more sensitive when at supposidely low forces, which I find good for my T300 rs. For example, let's say we set it up to 120%; if the initial force should be 1 Nm, the wheel will output a bit more force that this. I feel like it's a good setting for lower end wheels, with default it can fell really numb.

    • @MichiHoyer

    On my cammus c5. Constant force feedback off makes the wheel very light until I get up to a fast pace. With it on FFB feels stronger during slow cornering. Unsure which is more realistic.

    • @MichiHoyer
      @MichiHoyer  6 месяцев назад

      The FFB is not 100 % perfect in my opinion. I think it is dead in the centre and lacks some fidelity.

    Is thw curb pull setting not 100% default on all wheels? I have a CSL DD and it defaults to 100%. I messed around for hours with the FFB but couldn't get it to improve much. The patch fixed some bugs for fanatec users, but I didn't notice an improvement for feeling what the tires are doing.

      @MichiHoyer  6 месяцев назад

      I have stressed that before to S397 that the FFB feels a bit dead esp. with front tyres. I hope that is going to be fixed in future occasions. Personally I consider it being an issue with the Tyremodel or the FFB code towards that.

    or is this a feature of the Fuji track? because the 488 drives like it’s on ice. But does the Sebring feel great?

    • @MichiHoyer
      @MichiHoyer  6 месяцев назад +1

      The force feedback is considered worse than rF2 from my PoV. It surely has to do with the new tyremodel. I hope we can push and gather information to increase the fidelity of the Force Feedback! Thats our very much responsibility to keep poking them to fix the FFB fidelity.
