I have always owned Lincolns and have had Audi's as well as Mercedes, Cadillac and others. If I wanted a stiff ride with lots of road feel, I would have stayed with one of them. Lincoln is plush, soft and quiet. My Cadillacs spent more time at the dealership for repairs then I had it on the road. My Audi was good but it too became costly in repairs. With my Lincolns and my only repairs have been regular maintenance and have kept them well over 150,000 miles plus before trading in for new ones. I currently own a Continental as well as Lincolns MKS and love them both and will never go back to foreign model cars again. It I want road feel, I could have gotten a Jeep but rather lounge and be comfortable in my cars.
Why are you and every American car editor always so clearly biased towards the German cars? I drive an Audi A5 and would happily trade it in for this car.
It's amazing how the GERMANS have BRAINWASHED EVERYONE.... M 5 Rod Bearing failures M 3 Sub Frame Cracks 911 IMS Bearing Failures Don't drink the German Kool Aid....Jim "KLAUSE" Jones is pouring....
I feel that the driving judgment is unfair sometimes. Lincoln made it clear that the ride was plush and yet the car is evaluated in terms of driving fun. It's a plush ride car people! not intended to compete dynamically with a 5 series
that seems to be a thing among the you-tube reviewers taking everything and measuring it against a sport coupe, fastbacks, and sedans when the alot of them arent attempting to be that.
demikpre exactly my point. Car testers would like every car to have sport sedan handling when people are perfectly fine with a Camry or so. Diversity is key
favyan16 I agree. I have a 2009 Lincoln Town Car with a video of it on my channel, but I love big, smoooth, comfy and plush rides. I bought it in December 2016 with 59 k miles for $10,800 I love it so much.
favyan16 I will. Been going through work troubles and health issues so I got side tracked. Video coming soon on the interior and story about how I bought
Thats funny you say youd never compare this to a 5 or E. Thats exactly what im doing. Ive driven all three and honestly I think it does compare very well. Ive owned all three german brands prior and dont feel they are all that superior anymore to Lincoln or Cadillac. I think you guys the editors and some of the public still have that negative aura to the American brands when i think only NOW have they become equal. I put down money ordering a BL because price wise it does stack up better than the germans. Id have to drop over 100k to have alcantara head liner, leather on the dash and door, all the tech youd want, better seats, better sound, quieter cabin, novel door handles, 400 hp engine AWD. If you want all that in a German name be prepared to drop over a 100 large. And truthfully im not driving on the autobahn so driving all three back to back they are all equal.
I agree with you as someone whos both a car lover AND Pro American cars, I'm glad to see someone finally admitting that German cars aren't that superior to American brands if not at all, especially considering the price tags on them! Not to mention the repair costs, Maintenance costs etc. My current Daily Driver is a 1997 Mark VIII LSC. YES a 1990s car still on the road, reliable as anything out there and the car has 293,000 miles!! Regular oil changes at 2500-4000 miles and that 4.6 DOHC V8 still purrs
Aurora Jones completely on point and I couldn't agree more. Also why are people so focused on the sports aspect? This isn't a sport sedan. And it starts at $45k.
Just happened to be researching this vehicle and you all sound delusional. That is why this stretched Fusion failed. You and people responding to your comment were so out of touch it's saddening. You all live in a bubble. German brands own the market and Lincoln has been unceremoniously run out of the car market. You can't take a Fusion, stretch it and add dumb seats with 30 adjustments to impress the clueless, leather and think you have a competitive luxury sedan.
I love the reviewers who come on claiming the car is priced far lower than a German competitor, but still cannot give any good reviews. Where I live most of the people who drive the 5 series BMW or the E class Mercedes are little old ladies who drive so slow it is ridiculous. They buy them for the status but not for the handling. The Lincoln is a fine car for the money and will give anyone wanting a luxury ride just that. The internet reviewers are always pushing what they think is better, or will go in the direction where the incentive money is placed for them to review a particular product negatively.
Have to say, I disagree with some of your review. I've been driving this car now for about a month with the standard power seats and the 2.7 l engine. It's hard to imagine that you don't find the car to be sporty. It feels like my older Mustang GT, and it didn't have the higher output engine. Even the base engine has a great sound and plenty of power for a normal driver. The quality of the interior is superb and the cheap chrome that you mentioned is real metal chrome and a stylistic homage to the great Lincolns of the mid 1960's. The sound system is fantastic and as you said, not very expensive. The electric doors on the base unit give the car a great, expensive feel from the moment you touch it, and the way that it wakes up and greats you as you approach made my wife giggle with delight. The car is simply stunning and I receive compliments on it daily. Strangers approach me to talk about it. The ride is super stable and comfortable and the seats are the best I've experienced. I do agree that anyone looking at a higher end car should at least check it out. I drove it as part of a procession of cars and immediately knew it was a great value for about $47k. I got a few options and got it up to $54k, but still a heck of a deal for what you get. This car should be a real hit for Lincoln if it gets promoted properly.
So Eric, 4yrs later and what has been your experience with the car as an owner. You still have it? Do you consider it a great "reliable" car after owning it? How many miles you put on it? What issues have you had with it as an owner? Your input as a owner would be very valuable to prospective used cars buyers considering purchasing one of these newer Lincoln Continentals. Thanks if you reply.
@@erichonold7555 vey nice. Congrats I'm glad it turned out to be a good reliable car for you. I am HIGHLY considering getting me one soon. I appreciate your quick reply & input. Thank you. 👍
After reading quite a few reviews I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this guy really doesn't know style and comfort I just purchased a 2018 fully loaded and its nothing but a head turner and compliment getter I've taken it on long trips and the ride was excellent and mileage was way way better than expected. As for this guy he should be doing reviews on canned goods or something not on quality cars.
Would love to hear actual OWNERS of the new Continentals & their actual experiences after owning one. As a owner, do you still consider the 2017-2020 Continental a "Reliable" vehicle? How many mechanical issues has your Continetal had? How many miles did you get out of it or have gotten out of it if you still own it? IF you got rid of it then why & how come? This kind of info would be super valuable to prospective used car buyers of the Lincoln Continental. Thanks to anyone giving their honest opinion after owning or still owning this car. It sure would be nice to her actual owners of this car commenting in here instead of just a bunch of opinions about Lincoln/Ford & versus other vehicles.
I’m in facebook group and they said problems mostly are e latch door stopped working, more issues on 2017 model, foggy backup camera. But I still love continental
Just so you know the car that you drive is a Continental reserve package and luxury package the car has Revel Ultima audio system with 19 spikers and quantum logic technology, not 13 spikers witch is Revel 1. Cargo space just so everyone knows is more than 2017 s500 Mercedes Benz. Very poor review for this beautiful Lincoln Continental.
I agree! He's undoubtedly a Democrat LOL It seems every time Cadillac or Lincoln release a new car that all the German car lovers seem to do is bash it to pieces! Well for ONE check our reliability of German cars particularly Mercedes and BMW ...... NOT good especially after 5-6 years and 60-80k+
it's a lincoln, not a Mercedes Benz S 550 and above. there are features of the Benz that are patented and cannot be used in any other vehicle unless the pay Mercedes which raises the price of the car. They include suction doors. Mercedes developed this "tech" and has been in their cars in since 1994. 24 years later, the top of the line Chrysler, Chevy etc doesn't have it. they have to pay MB $700 for each car they use it in. that's tech that is 25 fuckimg years old and not available. we don't care about trunk space
noctanol if you just take a moment and do a research you will see that Lincoln Continental has the same option as the Mercedes Benz S 550 at lower cost. stating with with select trim that is only $48k. Ford Lincoln has a lot of technology that nobody has.
Not a good review at all. This is an amazing car. This guy reviewing it is obviously just biased towards German cars. Every review on RUclips brags about how great this car is. Except for you!

I like the way he says "all this cheap chrome" It's touches like that IMO that add detail, interest and class to the cabin! I'm sick of cars with faux carbon fiber accents, fax brushed this or that looking "alloy" that's in reality plastic etc.. This looks upscale. I test drove this car and the road feel is actually very good with I was surprised. I sometimes drive my Moms 300C and at ANY speed the car has ZERO road feel, steering is light as a feather and the cars way too floaty on the highway and doesn't feel connected over 70 Mph. On the Continentals test drive the car felt planted at speed, took exit ramps at ease at 35-40 MPH and was smooth yet kind of sporty feeling! Overall I think if people give this car a chance and actually DRIVE one they will be impressed!
I would buy one! LOTS a cool features. GREAT seats. And unlike German cars this is reliable and fairly cheap to maintain. (No $200 oil changes!) And unlike Benzs and BMWs this car isn't designed to fall apart as soon as the warranty expires. One HUGE problem with Benzs is that they have 100s of sensors which go out all the time and they are a couple 100 bucks a pop just for the parts, to say nothing of the labor which always outrageously expensive. BMWs on the other hand go with REALLY cheap plastic for crucial engine parts - with predictable results.. EVERYBODY says LEASE a Benz or a Bimmer! Never buy one! To be honest, I got completely turned off with American cars in the 70s and 80s (have several horror stories) but see that at least certain models of American cars are worth getting. (My stepfather used to work for Oldsmobile back in the day and THEN American were truly awesome cars! Maybe that's part of my attraction to the new Ls!)) Wasnt at all impressed with previous iterations of Lincolns in the recent past. They either looked like Fords with Hitler moustaches or just werent that impressive. This and the new Navigators ring my bell mechanically and aesthetically. Consumer Reports also recommends them. One thing though I didnt like about the new C is the headroom in the backseat with the sunroof option. Im 6 feet and my head was almost touching the roof and u can't get the more expensive models without the sunroof! Another potential problem is ordering specific color combinations. Ive seen tan interiors in ads but no place to order them on their websites. Worse, the higher you go up the model level, the fewer color options you have - just plain dumb, but not a deal breaker. Wish Cadillac would regain some of their mojo but too many buyers have told me never again, so I'd steer clear of them, sadly, till they get their quality issues fixed.
The car is "quiet luxury" for crying out loud, it's not a performance drivers car. I owned several BMW's 5 and 3 series before and they were not comfortable. They were just what they say they are: they could never come close to the ride of a Lincoln 'and I owned Lincoln's as well. By the way why are you doing car reviews anyway? your not able in this business 'I see because you are not giving this "well" built machine it's "well" due. Reviewers like you corrupts people's mind against "well" built American car's and aid them into buy European car's that is only good when they are new. Do you know what happens to these European car's after five years of use; the dash board becomes a "pepper light" board, it looks like a tree with pepper lights. Then the repairs are more than half what the car worth. Therefore stop downing "well" built American car's that are proven because nothing outlasts a work horse Lincoln.
My only complain is why does it look like the Mkc from the front end if I stand correct? Nonetheless I would totally buy this over the other competitors because it's cheaper while having just about the same or more features & it's American!
I just bought this car and I absolutely love it. I had a Mercedes and hated it. After 50k miles the Mercedes is ready for the scrap yard. Everything fails and nobody wants to work on them, and they need a lot of work. As for Lincolns, they are 200k+ cars. My 98 Lincoln Mark VIII Spring Feature LSC still rides and runs like a new car. This car seems to be built with the same, solid quality that only a Ford product can offer in America. I am not sure where this guy came from, but I do not believe he knows what he is talking about on many subjects of this car. For example, the "cheap" chrome trim on the dash is actually genuine, chromed metal and not "cheap" plastic. The handling does take getting used to only because it is electrically assisted. Drive it for more than a weekend and you will come to love how fluid it is. Maybe, he is used to driving lawn mowers. It handles extremely well. The only time I run is sport mode is when I am driving over hilly roads because the comfort mode is extremely nice. If he thinks the throttle is too aggressive, there are always the less powerful motors for women. If you pick a 400hp motor, expect it to take off quickly. THAT IS COMMON SENSE. He doesn't know the level of road grip because it is all wheel drive? Yo buddy, that is the point of the all wheel drive. There is always the front wheel drive version if you want to power out of a corner and end up in a ditch. The AWD version is it is a premium, electronically tuned system to to put the power on the exact wheels where it is needed. One more thing: beards are for beatniks. They were never meant to be in fashion. That was just a joke played on men with feminine jaw bones.

@@WrestlingErnestHemingway The only issue I have had was some sort of electrical module went out. That module controls: Turn signal (hazards work) Bright lights (regular lights work) Telescoping wheel buttons Wiper sprayer Cruise control Interior lights Wiper speed reducer(fast still works) All of these things went out at the same time. Other than that, It is very dependable. Runs great and strong. I bought it at 33k miles and it currently had 48k. I just have not had time to fix the module. I have looked it up on the digital repair manual, and I think I have narrowed it down.
@@kuei1215 thank you so much for your quick reply. Hope it's an easy fix or cheap to get that module fixed. Have you checked out pricing to have that module replaced? That is a lot of instruments to have all go out for one electrical module however still allowing the car to function properly at least so you can still drive it just fine. Hope your interior lights still are functioning in it though. That's all not too bad unless it's super expensive to fix those issues & replace that module. You find out then please let me know how it turns out. Glad to hear it's been dependable car for you. That is great to hear. THANK YOU AGAIN for your input. 👍
I test drove this same car, 3.0 400 hp reserve, I currently own a 2014 Mercedes CLS 550, AWD, awesome car, had 3 550 Benzs, a 545 BMW, before them, and all Lincoln prior to the BEEMER IN 05, last Lincoln was a LSE 8 cylinder it was junk, always had Marks, and continentals before, I'm 55 years old, if you liked Lincoln back in the day, you will love this car, it's really exceptional with the 400 hp motor, don't get me wrong it's no Mark4, or 7 or even 8, it's different, but you've been driving something since those cars, and this is better, for the money, only problem not leasing well yet, u can get 6 Cylinder CLS 400 for Lil bit more, but I'll tell u, this car is gorgeous
Mohammed Al zahrani Same sat in the 2017 Navigator drove it for a wedding felt so nice and pulled really well with the engine being very quiet. I can't imagine how much nicer the 2018 Navigator will be!
Mohammed Al zahrani Not all of them I was a fan of most of the Navigators and the 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator, and now the new Continental. I am more of a fan of BMWs and Jaguars, but I do like Lincolns. I use to own a 2004 Lincoln Aviator so nice until it started falling apart.
I am from Saudi Arabia. people here love lincoln town car especially 1997 models. I have been driving 1997 lincoln town car since 2002. its a great car isent it?
I got one of the early 2017 Continentals, pre-ordered 90 days - or as soon as dealers could place orders. I have the Reserve with all features available - except reclining back seats, Super Sound Revel System - where hearing aids so I figured that was just a waste of money for me. Love the quite ride, power ( 400 HP v 6) Fully adjustable seats are a real plus but not certain they were worth all the extra money. Leather Choices on the seats along with wood trim are limited. For this kind of money a wider selections should be offered. Gets great comments when parked or in a gas station.

@@WrestlingErnestHemingway did you ever get the Continental ? I'm seriously considering buying a 17 or 18 model . Beautiful car . And the rear design is just as aesthetically classy as a Maserati Quattroporte imo . Lincoln nailed it .
I don't know where this video was shot, but I could barely focus on what you were saying because of all the barren buildings, boarded up houses and empty lots. Not exactly the ideal setting for a luxury car review.
I've seen both the Lincoln Continental in person and the Cadillac ct-6 in person and I will tell you that the Lincoln has more of a upscale design to the sides and the back, where's to the Cadillac has a better front end. so as far as overall Road presence goes, I think the Lincoln is a more of luxurious visibly looking car. the interior I think is a preference thing, but for me I found that the Lincoln had a better overall feel and or design quotient that the ct-6 lacked in certain ways. also keep in mind that this Lincoln was not designed to compete as a luxury sports sedan, because the Lincoln Continental has never been about being a luxury sports sedan so I find it slightly odd that he would criticize a car for not feeling sporty when it was never designed to be sporty. and finally, when I see a Cadillac ct-6 I say that's a nice looking car even though it looks like a blown up ATS or a CTS, but when I see the Lincoln Continental on the road I feel like I'm looking at a car that pulls off the luxury attempt a little better as far as the exterior styling goes.
I work at a lincoln dealership this is not the top of the line that would be a black label continental. And as far as ride quality you can change it all in the ride settings.
How is it compared to a Grand Marquis? I've had panther platforms for the past 12 years and looking for something comparable. I understand the panther platform is dead but hopeful to find something close.
4yrs since your post here and I'm super curious to find out if you still have the 2017 continental and if so do you think it has been a reliable car? How many miles did you put on it or have on it now if you still have it? ANY issues or problems with it? I hope you will reply I am highly considering getting me a used one soon. Your input would be super appreciated & helpful to used car buyers like myself. THANK YOU & hope you see this to reply.
Love the way this guy talk, first few seconds, he always talks like "My name is Je↑ni↓ffeeeer↑ .....and this is my boyfriend's ZX2oooo↓...." and turns back to normal after that
LOL due to your comment I went back to the first 10 seconds of the Video and your spot on! LOLOLOL Sounds like the guys in Chelsea or lower east side of NYC "OH HEEEEEeeeeeey how RRRRRR youuuuuu """ LMAO its all good I love everyone!! : )
I've driven a 2017 preowned Continental & loved thr car, black on black which the wood is darker or looks better with a darker interior. If I decide one day to buy one the car will be black with black interior which to me is very attractive for a luxury car as they did in the 80's & on, the Primere trim which I think is the low end cost less even for preowned but all depends I guess. I still love my 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature which have had for 4 years.
I'm considering trading in my 2012 Jaguar XF Supercharged V8 Portfolio Edition on the new Lincoln. I could have paid for most of it with the money I spent on repairs for the Jaguar. I bet the service and maintenance would be less. I want the Coach Edition in Black Label trim. Now that's a luxury car!
So why talk about a car that you don’t know or like? I think you be happy in a F150. or a Dodge Ram. Lumber jacks are not found in really nice cars or upscale bars.
Nice video. I received an ad in the mail about this car. A key point is that they will pick the car up for service. Looks kinda frumpy like an old Taurus. Maybe in real it looks better. Pictures can be deceiving.

@@WrestlingErnestHemingway I've had zero issues. Still have the car. It's been reliable. Bought the car w 17k miles and it has almost 60k now. The performance definitely isn't as good as when I first got it but that's probably because it's direct injection. It still has pep but no longer track worthy lol. I'd actually highly recommend this car if you can find a reasonable price.
@@WrestlingErnestHemingway actually the only downside I've experienced is the price of the tires lol. I got one w the sports package. 19in rims so I basically had to order new tires. 4 were 1000 or 1200. Something like that
I think the car is beautiful. A few design flaws but what car is perfect. I tend to agree with Favyan 16. I do think some writers judge american cars to harshly or even wrong. The Lincoln Continental has always been a luxury car with a "Plush" ride. Plush does not have to mean "NOT FUN" . . . .driver preference. There is one flaw where I agree with Motor1 writer and that is the placement of the drive selector. That is a poor placement next to radio controls. Maybe the drive controls are deactivated at some point so that they cannot be push by accident.
Doesn't sound like a car I would buy. I've seen a good review of the Lincoln MKX which was quite favorable. I think that price should be a consideration in this type of purchase.
great review guys but next time no disrespect ok,pls keep the green giant at home or maybe let him do trucks or full size suv thank you.good review again.
This guy has absolutely no idea what he's talking about lol. Real chrome plated trim pieces feel cheap? Calling it AWD and then 5 seconds later saying that it's FWD? Talking about how badly it takes a corner when you push it? Whinining about performance shortcomings in a luxury sedan? Why does this guy even have a job?
Save Road feel and rougher ride for the younger generation. I prefer to be comfortable am pampered in my luxury boats as most would call them. It's not a sports car but a luxury car that wasn't designed to compete with sportier luxury cars on the road.
I own a CLS 550, it's going back in 2 months, the Benz is 20,000 more than this, my son is going to Prep school soon and want to lower my payments, 6 cylinder benzs r dead, Hate BMW, ride like trucks, CT6 in a 400 hp version is in the 80s , I'll keep the Benz for that money, only problem w the Lincoln is the residual value, cause the car rides nice, it's no AMG in the turns but hey it's a Lincoln, priced nicely, it gonna get killed on resale,? Tough call, I love the car
😂😂😂😂😂 You're the worst Paul BUMyan lol. Just bought one of these and it is a WORLD better than the 2015 Q70 i got rid of. To reiterate what was said in previous comments this vehicle wasn't designed for racing, it was designed for COMFORT and it delivers. Best car I've ever bought honestly
Then you talked about the car have 'cheap plastics" which car doesn't have cheap plastics in it. My European car's plastics broke very easily by doing what they were built to do after a few years. You guys kills me with that mess 'like as if people fingers are going to sit on a knob while driving: 😕 you guys need to stop with that mess because that style is "so irrelevant" in reviewing a automobile because they all have cheap plastics in them. I disassembles, repairs body, and reassembles automobiles daily, and I have never seen one in 20+ years "without" cheap plastics in it.
I m confused.. in the video he said he didn't like the cheapness feeling of chrome trim. I heard those chrome are real.... Wtf?? People start liking fake shit more than original?? 😂😂
I like this review. Good contrast with autovlogs review. For self parking, I think the push buttons are a bad idea. My Fusion Platinum with the rotary on the console works great with self parking.
I know I'm late to the party here, but for comfort, this car beats anything it's priced comparatively to hands down. It never claims to be a driver's car, and it isn't.
lincoln is back with this and the new escalade coming. just through this grill on the other ones. its not a sports sedan its a luxury car that rides well but is comfier
Good thing the front end looks much better than previous Lincolns, despite how derivative it may look (think Maserati and Jaguar). But that meh looking taillights... they really need to go
I cannot agree that this car is not up to snuff with German brands. In my eyes it is the best looking. BMW and Audi are boring looking. Cadillac is too blocky. In terms of looks only the Mercedes is equal. Performance wise all other reviewers love it, but not this hipster.
At 5:49....really drinking the German Kool Aid....this is a LUXO BARGE...not a sporty driver....as for the "5 Series or E Class" ...Alfa Romeo Giulia has BLOWN THEM BOTH AWAY !!!!
So basically only buy this car if your rich and you don't enjoy the feeling of being in tune with your vehicle, almost as if your day dreaming or having a philosophical thought about something totally irrelevant as you cruise down the road talking to yourself in the middle of the night?
So this is what happens when an over-sized, soy-induced bearded hipster reviews a luxury vehicle... Ooh, the throttle ith too fasth... Ooh the buttonths are too cloths to the screen, that's dangerouths... Cringe-worthy...
Why do they have a big Paul Bunyan size guy driving a luxury who clearly has bias towards German cars? He couldn’t give a modest comprehensive observation of Lincoln if Lincoln paid him. The car itself is a outstanding drive and ride and for the money it’s better than Mercedes and Audi than most people care to think. I won’t ever trust these type of critics cuz they’re already talking against American cars.
Has cars reviewers always bash local products,,, don't complain to see Ford follow by other allready stoping productions of cars THAT NEVER INTENTION TO DRIVE LIKE A BMW... And YES SMOOTH RIDING cars is DESIRABLE...
This is much better than the BMW 5 series I’ve driven both and Lincoln much more reliable
@@WrestlingErnestHemingway Yes, still driving the 2018 Continental. Have never had a problem of any sort. It's just a super comfortable car.
This car is perfect for what it is made for luxury with a little sporting great car
I’ve owned a 2017 Black Label for 1.5 years. I had to pay $100 to have the drivers side window calibrated. That’s it.
why is there a lumberjack reviewing this car?
🤣
brasconator lol
Only a gentleman with a clean shaven face good enjoy this stately vehicle. Paul Bunyan belongs in a used pickup.
😂😂😂😂 I watched the video just to see the lumberjack... so he can thank you for my view
lol
NOT good especially after 5-6 years and 60-80k+
what in the hell does that have to do with being a Democrat you fucking godshit
Dan Buzdugan Democrats are retarded
it's a lincoln, not a Mercedes Benz S 550 and above. there are features of the Benz that are patented and cannot be used in any other vehicle unless the pay Mercedes which raises the price of the car.
Now this is pure class. If i had the money i will get this because not too many people have it and thats a plus point.
PS, the 3.0 400 hp version is unreal, it's the one to get, I'm in love with it, if it leases good
I have an E class and just bought a Lincoln continental and I love the Lincoln and like the Mercedes

Show some respect.. Lincoln is back
I think the Lincoln Continental is a awesome vehicle
I rented one of these. Extremely fast and handles like a sports car.
WHAT COMPANY RENTS THEM? I KEEP LOOKING BUT COULD NOT FIND ONE
German cars are Hitler's revenge.
UNIQUE, VERY NICE, PLUS ,THE SUSPENSION OF THESE CARS, IS ONE OF THE BEST.
So Kuei, 1yr later and what has been your experience with the car as an owner? You still have it? Do you consider it a great "reliable" car after owning it? How many miles you put on it? What issues have you had with it as an owner?
Your input as a owner would be very valuable to prospective used cars buyers considering purchasing one of these newer Lincoln Continentals. Thanks if you reply.
@@WrestlingErnestHemingway The only issue I have had was some sort of electrical module went out. That module controls:
Turn signal (hazards work)
Bright lights (regular lights work)
Telescoping wheel buttons
Wiper sprayer
Cruise control
Interior lights
Wiper speed reducer(fast still works)
All of these things went out at the same time.
When you got to the gate and the music starting to slow down I thought you wouldn't be allowed out lol.
I thought he had something wrong with the car ha ha .
I love lincoln
Mohammed Al zahrani Same sat in the 2017 Navigator drove it for a wedding felt so nice and pulled really well with the engine being very quiet. I can't imagine how much nicer the 2018 Navigator will be!
yes I agree. are you a big fan of lincoln cars?
Mohammed Al zahrani Not all of them I was a fan of most of the Navigators and the 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator, and now the new Continental. I am more of a fan of BMWs and Jaguars, but I do like Lincolns. I use to own a 2004 Lincoln Aviator so nice until it started falling apart.
I am from Saudi Arabia. people here love lincoln town car especially 1997 models. I have been driving 1997 lincoln town car since 2002. its a great car isent it?
I am thinking about buying 2013 Lincoln MKZ 3.7L v6 or 2017 Mazda 3 sedan GS with all safety feature. Which one should I really buy?

Lincoln nailed it .
give the American brand a chance. Lincoln first, than those Japanese last!!
Jamie Cox i saw an old lady driving a Porsche Cayenne turbo s. Lol
Ro Stanton Lol
You were listening to 19 speakers, not 13.
I work at a lincoln dealership this is not the top of the line that would be a black label continental. And as far as ride quality you can change it all in the ride settings.
I thought the same thing but couldn't be sure.
How is it compared to a Grand Marquis? I've had panther platforms for the past 12 years and looking for something comparable. I understand the panther platform is dead but hopeful to find something close.
ya because this car is better
I can't consider interior chrome trim to look cheap. I like it myself.

Wow, Wtf!! Transmission controls next to the radio.. Passenger might put you in reverse while you're at a red light while he tries to scan the radio.
yea if they are a daft arsehole who cant manage themselves on a day to day basis you might have trouble with that, othewise you'll be just fine.
Why would you shoot this in an ecochamber?

Which car is longer G-90Genesis or lincoln Continental?
Can you get this car with europe settings? in kmh etc?
This car is awesome....it has a few more plastic knobs in the interior, but it looks great, drives great, and is very comfortable. 8.5/10 for me.
So why talk about a car that you don’t know or like? I think you be happy in a F150. or a Dodge Ram. Lumber jacks are not found in really nice cars or upscale bars.
if you want a better car you need to spend 100 grand or more
Nice video. I received an ad in the mail about this car. A key point is that they will pick the car up for service. Looks kinda frumpy like an old Taurus. Maybe in real it looks better. Pictures can be deceiving.
Nice background and nothing but negative statements humm

Something like that
@@WrestlingErnestHemingway also the car sits low so if you plan on doing your own oil changes (I don't) you'll have to buy a low profile jack
I think that price should be a consideration in this type of purchase.
great review guys but next time no disrespect ok,pls keep the green giant at home or maybe let him do trucks or full size suv thank you.good review again.
where are you driving?
This guy has absolutely no idea what he's talking about lol. Real chrome plated trim pieces feel cheap? Calling it AWD and then 5 seconds later saying that it's FWD? Talking about how badly it takes a corner when you push it? Whinining about performance shortcomings in a luxury sedan? Why does this guy even have a job?
@0:26 why does that look green screened af??? I don't think it is, but wtf? '.'
Save Road feel and rougher ride for the younger generation. I prefer to be comfortable am pampered in my luxury boats as most would call them. It's not a sports car but a luxury car that wasn't designed to compete with sportier luxury cars on the road.
I agree 100%, well said !!
Transmission shifts on the dash next to info system is a very bad idea. Dangerous at least. Not too much afterthought from the designers.
A truly beautiful creature that imo will keep it's beauty / which is the secret of merging straights and curvy lines
He said controls look plastiky while others reviewers said they are real metal, interesting.
I hate when these reviewers are scruffy looking. Doesn't even look like a "car guy".
Good thing the front end looks much better than previous Lincolns, despite how derivative it may look (think Maserati and Jaguar). But that meh looking taillights... they really need to go
TEDdotcom 1:04 reminds me of a Maserati
need to place your cue cards closer to the camera next time. lol
I cannot agree that this car is not up to snuff with German brands. In my eyes it is the best looking. BMW and Audi are boring looking. Cadillac is too blocky. In terms of looks only the Mercedes is equal. Performance wise all other reviewers love it, but not this hipster.
I am buying a Lincoln mostly because of Macconehey
I don't like this how you said it all I all I heard was negative no positive
Clear German bias, I’m not surprised
#LincolnIsLuxury
Good friend has an E Class. Way too small for me! Feels like the old C class.
Can you do a Alfa Romeo 4c please
At 5:49....really drinking the German Kool Aid....this is a LUXO BARGE...not a sporty driver....as for the "5 Series or E Class" ...Alfa Romeo Giulia has BLOWN THEM BOTH AWAY !!!!
So basically only buy this car if your rich and you don't enjoy the feeling of being in tune with your vehicle, almost as if your day dreaming or having a philosophical thought about something totally irrelevant as you cruise down the road talking to yourself in the middle of the night?
Great luxury car
So this is what happens when an over-sized, soy-induced bearded hipster reviews a luxury vehicle...
Ooh, the throttle ith too fasth... Ooh the buttonths are too cloths to the screen, that's dangerouths...
Cringe-worthy...
are you serious?
I don't trust a car reviewer, who's zipper is down (2:15) while driving... ICK!!!
If this had a German badge instead this dude would be praising it more...
He just crapped all over the car so I missed the point!
Has cars reviewers always bash local products,,, don't complain to see Ford follow by other allready stoping productions of cars THAT NEVER INTENTION TO DRIVE LIKE A BMW... And YES SMOOTH RIDING cars is DESIRABLE...
yes it is a very nice car
Love this car but this guy is biased...
My dream car
