What a great interview. Super genuine and considerate yet it was interesting to hear him reveal alot of personal details. Always glad there's new music in the works too. Subscribed.
Thank you for asking original and thoughtful questions! Too many clips of Adam and 3DG in the mainstream media from back in the day that are just so BORING. Great podcast!
Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I really pride myself on being original and providing a unique look into the lives of musicians. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss any of our conversations. We'll be posting 2 episodes per week.
Agreed. There are way too many interviews with Adam and the band where the hosts aren’t bothered to do any research, so they just ask them the same stupid questions.
@@whyshoulditellyou2867 Thanks! My goal is to ask meaningful and thoughtful questions to create a one of a kind interview. I'm glad it came out that way with Adam. Have a listen to our other episodes and let us know what you think!
Thank you so much for such an amazing interview. You asked questions that were relevant and we really got to see an Adam that was relaxed, honest, forthcoming and just plain entertaining . Great job!!!
Thanks for this great interview! I really hope that all of those question could be not too heavy for Adam, but I am glad that he decided to share something more with us, since many people could be inspired thanks to that :)
Thanks for the positive comment, I appreciate it. I'm really glad I was able to have such an open and honest conversation with Adam. Be sure to subscribe and check out our other conversations :-)
Thank you from France ;) Adam Gontier is my favourite musician but i am looking forward to your next interview. Bytheway great choice of your podcast name. I believe Music made us all ;)
From us in Canada to you in France, thank you so much for the positive comment Yannick, it means a lot! We hope you'll enjoy all of our conversations. Music is universal and we truly believe it's the one thing that can bring us all together!

Yeah he's lucky Adam is more willing to share now than he used to be. He used to be like "why would I talk about my feelings unless I'm talking to my shrink". So I'm a bit surprised he's as trusting and candid as he is.
Adam is a writer if that is how someone learned to cope from a young age that is their preferred way of dealing with things. You just pour your heart or mind out on paper and then it's out of your system you don't necessarily want to sit around just chatting like other people like to do which actually can seem very non constructive.
@@AnnaLVajda That's the goal of my podcast, to make musicians feel comfortable enough to open up and share more than they normally would in an interview. Be sure to subscribe and check out our other conversations :-)
I've heard his last name pronounce many different times and I wonder why it's pronounced many different ways then I realized, oh french canadian name so sounds different than it looks XD
Peterborough eh? Maybe take the kid to the zoo or Little Lake do they still have The Great Steak and Potato in Lansdowne Place? That was one of my first first jobs because at 18 some of of us live on our own go to work get on the honour roll doing our OACs etc. Not everyone is some irresponsible Mamas boy still living at home when they are nearly 30 ya know. Some people know how to take care of themselves.
I'm worried Adam just publicly "confessed" he gets angry sometimes. No one is allowed to have a normal range of human emotions or express themselves anymore. With Canada's new hate speech laws he probably can't sing his biggest hit in public soon or they have to bleep it out. I bleep everything about you lol.
@@Deadnvrsleep well I am referring to the censorship and obstacles that did not exist 20 years ago in Peterborough. I don't know I have not been there in over 20 years but I knew Canada then and I know it know so I understand what artists are up against. Adam always has my full support I tend to like musicians anyway so of course I am sentimental about him we went to school together.
Adam gontier is a live legend !
