My watch journey started when my best friend passed away in 2020. He loved his watches and his mum passed on his collection to me when we finally got to meet up after lockdown. The one he wore the most was his Timex Marlin, he bloody loved that watch. I have it mounted on ny bedside table so when I wake up i see it, I try and wear his watches as much as I can. The Marlin has grown on me and is now my firm favourite, it has kick started my obsession and im sure hes grinning from on high as I continually hide from my wife what I spend as I expand his collection 😂.
I love the “Expedition north field” and the “Q reissue”, not only because of the excellent value for money, but also because they resemble two of the most beloved watches that my dad used to wear almost every day before passing away, and he was the big reason why I got into watches in the first place. 🙌🏼
Seeing this Timex GMT 'Pepsi' watch brought back a flood of cherished memories for me. My grandfather used to have a watch just like this, and it instantly reminded me of him and my childhood. He was a proud truck driver for the Pepsi bottling company back in the 70s. I remember sitting by the window, eagerly waiting for him to come home after his long hauls, always with a smile and a story to tell. This watch symbolizes not just time, but the countless moments of love, hard work, and the unbreakable bond we shared. Thank you for bringing back such beautiful memories. Winning this watch collection would mean the world to me, as it would be like having a piece of my grandfather with me always.
I like my TIMEX Expedition T46681. It is the most honest and practical watch I have ever had. Good price, stainless steel case, mineral crystal, day-date, 100 m water resistance and of course Indiglo. So many advantages for so little money
Fantastic show. The Timex I would like to win is the Q Pepsi Bezel reissue. I am 68 years old and it reminds me of the watch I had during high school that I wore to tennis practice and to the drive in restaurant afterwards. Thanks for your insight into the watch hobby.
What a great 4 watch collection MWC! I’ve got a real soft spot for Timex. They’re almost like an American hybrid combination of Seiko and Casio . They offer fantastic value for money, pretty much any type of complication you could reasonably expect and brand heritage out the wazoo! What’s not to love? Good luck to everyone entering the competition!
As a Timex collector, I love this video is it highlights the versatility and affordability of the brand. For me the Timex Q has to be the winner. there’s nothing like it while some hate it those who love it LOVE IT! And I’m in that camp
The Heritage Waterbury Chronograph by Timex indeed offers a nod to classic watch designs, much like the revered Omega Speedmaster. With its quartz movement and distinctive blue dial, it provides a budget-friendly option for those who appreciate the timeless style of high-end chronographs. While it may not have the same horological prestige as the Speedmaster, known for its space exploration heritage, the Waterbury stands out with its own charm and reliable functionality, making it a great choice for everyday wear. Whether you're a watch enthusiast or simply looking for a stylish timepiece, the Heritage Waterbury is a testament to Timex's commitment to quality and affordability.
Expedition North Field Hand Wind Blue - I have a friend who is getting married, and this would be a perfect gift for him. He has been looking for his first watch and loves the 38mm size and is drawn to blue dials. Additionally, being a legacy brand and a watch that he can hand wind I think it would be perfect for him. Love the channel!
Timex Ironman was an everyday GoTo for the first 15 years in the military. I would beat them until they died and I couldn’t read the numbers anymore. They would see all types of climates desert, tropical rain forest, extreme cold and hot, humid, and keep working through. Even replaced the battery a couple times in each of the ones I had instead of buying a new one. Since getting into watch collecting my style has changed some. I still like the military style watches and the blue Expedition one you showcased is a great looking watch. Right up my alley. I actually went to Jomashop and purchased an Expedition with a 50% off code because of your video. That is probably my new favorite. Thank you.
My favorite is the Waterbury Traditional. It's unique, easy to read, has day and date complications, and the green seconds hand adds a nice bit of color to spice it up.
Love the channel have for a long time. The Timex Q brings back good memories of when I was a kid love that watch. My Dad wore the Q. Very generous of you to do a give away!!!
Hi, Timex is one of my favorite watch brands and it doesn't receive much positive attention on RUclips, just harsh criticism of questionable models. I was pleased to see a video highlighting the positive aspects of Timex. In recent years, the brand has made many hits like the Expedition North line, the metallic T-80s, the Q Reissue, and their timeless classics like the Ironman and Weekender. From the store, I would choose the Standard Peanuts Snoopy Christmas watch because in my country, the Snoopy Weekender models are very rare and cost double or even triple what they do in retail in the northern hemisphere. The other more popular models are available at more reasonable prices.
Timex is one of the best, I grew up 20 mins from where Timex was born (originally the Waterbury Clock Company). My great grandmother worked and retired from there.
The Timex M79 Automatic caught my eyes. I love the color of the bezel, it's black and blue. It compliments the black dial and the red seconds hand also pops up. I think it's gonna look good on my wrist. I love it!
my current favourite is the Expedition North Sierra 40mm in black. It's a modern interpretation of the timeless field watch design, seamlessly blending sophistication with practicality, all while remaining remarkably affordable-a hallmark trait of Timex. I think there's elegance in its simplicity and I love a timepiece that exudes coolness yet remains within reach for nearly any collector. This watch embodies accessibility without compromising on style or functionality, making it an irresistible choice for enthusiasts like myself.
I want to know too. I really want to buy one of this Timex but I won't do it just in case I win the giveaway. I'm just hanging between buying or keep waiting
My first watch, in the mid 1980's was a Timex Playskool collaboration. It was meant to help kids learn how to tell time on an analog watch, it was a red rectangle with a digital screen and a bright yellow dial analog watch. I wish I still had it. Since that watch I grew up with Timex's and still have a few. Im strongly considering picking up the Q Reissue Quartz blue is the closest to a Timex I had in college.
Hey Russel! Long time viewer and first time commenter. I love your content! After looking through Jomashop, that gold Q Timex in your video is by far the best. Best regards, Aaron
The favorite watch TIMEX Q Reissue Quartz Black Dial Men's Watch, although I was confused between Timex Q and Timex GMT but but butttt TIMEX Q's old gold colour and the old look design just beautiful, love the bracelet of the watch, it reminds me of my dad's watch....... Love the TIMEX Q
MWC! For me, it's the Timex Expedition North Sierra Quartz Black Dial Men's Watch. I love it's legibility, quartz reliability, and the dimensions are perfect: 40mm case and a strap-a-holic 20mm lugwidth! Let's go!!!!
Thanks for highlighting these watches, Timex has been killing it the past couple of years and enthusiasts who haven't heard need to know! That Expedition North field watch is an absolute bargain! I can't decide between the Waterbury Traditional Quartz Silver Dial (more of a two-tone, as the outer ring where the hour numerals are is black), and the Expedition Pioneer Chronograph Quartz ani-digi. Looks rugged, tough and purposeful.
The silver Timex Q with the blue bezel and dial is 100% my favorite watch on jomashop. Such a damn good looking watch and I don’t have a dive watch in the collection yet so it would be a perfect addition. Love the integrated bracelet and retro goodness styling. Bring back the 70s!!
Timex has its own aestetic and ideas and that's what I admire the most in their offer! Affordable watches with a genuine original touch. The T80 was my first non-casio digital watch I bought, the greenish/reflective background mesmerize me every time! I sold a couple, I stil own a transparent case/white face version. And the Q... I forget this watch, until now. That gold tone, that bracelet... What a great bunch of watches! For the choice from the shop, I think I'll try on wrist the Timex Q Celestial, it's a good chance to wear brilliants without being unnecessarily blingy! So much going on with that dial... Thanks for the new video Russ, and for the chance to win those budget beauties!
I had a Timex in Grad School that received more compliments than any watch I've ever owned. Regarding those on Jomashop, you can't go wrong with the Mk1 Chronograph Quartz Black Dial Men's Watch. It's a real beauty!
My favorite Timex on Jomanshop is the Waterbury Quartz Black Dial Men's Watch. Timex is an amazing brand and I love most of their watches. Never saw this one on a Black Dial. It looks a lot more expensive then it is. What a classic look and timeless and any age would love this style
I love that Expedition North Field. I have tiny tiny wrist and 38 mm is perfect for me, love the blue dial and most importantly I love that this is a hand wound mechanical watch, you know, you have to wind it regularly, it brings me joy. That watch is a beauty.
For me, it's the Classic Chronograph in blue. It was the first watch I ever got on my first trip to the US, in New York, and it holds a special place in my heart because of that. But I've also received so many compliments on it because it's such a simple, elegant watch. I see that in the current version the dial is a little more cluttered, and they've changed the crown to an onion-shaped one. But if I ever lost mine, I'd be more than 100% sure I'd buy it again! The Indiglo, the quick adjustment hour hand, the typographies of the dial (especially the numerals),... I don't know, it's a model that might not attract attention at first, but it's a strap monster and for today it is, and will be, one of my favourites in my collection forever. Wishing you all a great day! :)
The one I liked the most was the Waterbury Traditional (specifically the TW2U99300). I’m a big fan of space age era chrome design, and that one reminds me of the chrome alarm clocks that were made back in the day.
MK1 Quartz Beige Dial TW2R96800 for me. It's a field watch, which I need, stainless steel case, great legibility and Indiglo, I'd upgrade to a suitable bracelet, and its one of the few analog watches the wife would want- Indiglo is a must! great vid as always MWC!
For me the Timex TW2U61900 Q Reissue Quartz Blue Dial. I think the blue looks lovely on this timepiece and could be great for everyday use, matching basically any color that you wear.
The Waterbury Traditional Quartz Silver Dial Men's Watch is my favorite. Classy and fresh but still oldschool enough to go with an Iron Maiden tshirt from 1986 and som spiked leather on the other wrist. Keep up the good work.
Timex was my first wrist watch. I still have it even though the battery died long ago. Right now one of my favorites is the expedition north mechanical because it’s such an honest little watch. Love the connection between watch and wearer
My favourite is the MK1 Quartz Beige Dial Brown Leather Men's Watch because it looks so simply and clear, and at that price it’s cheaper to replace the watch than the battery !
I really like the allied LT with the grey dial. The orange accents on the hands against the grey dial with black numbers just really works for me. Plus that textured finish to the bezel gives it a really unique look.
The Timex chronograph TW2T68900 is my favorite. I personally dont have a chronograph in my collection yet and you just cant beat that timeless aesthetic this one offers.
The Waterbury Traditional Quartz Silver Dial Men's Watch will be my perfect pick from Jomashop because of its striking sector dial makes it stand apart. It can be used when dressed up or on more casual occasions. The bracelet is surprisingly a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, making it look like a big deal!
Of the choices on Jomashop, I have to say that Pepsi GMT is my current favorite. I love the colors & I don't have a GMT. So cool of you to do this. Love your channel. Keep up the outstanding work!
The Timex Marlin Jet is SUCH a beautiful piece; modern technology in a tastefully updated vintage design is truly a masterclass in how to do it right. Definitely on my to purchase list! Thanks for the great videos!
My fav is the expedition north field hand wind in the blue dial it’s superb and very simple. The strap is great and looks great value and quality for the price overall!
From the website, I would go with M79 Automatic (bracelet). And of course I love the Expedition North Field Hand Wind watch. It reminds me about my first watch, given to me by my grandfather long time ago. There is something special about the interaction between the watch owner and the hand wind watch, I still remember the feeling of winding my watch up every night before bed.
Timex Q reissue - because I love the vintage style with the integrated bracelet. Ways good to have a quartz in the collection's also to pick up and have it already set and ready to go.
Wow, for me it’s the Timex watch TW2V43500 its an absolute stunner! The gold-tone stainless steel case paired with the black leather strap is such a classy combination. The champagne dial with gold-tone hands and markers gives it a timeless elegance that really stands out. I love the attention to detail with the minute markers around the outer rim, and the analog dial adds to its classic appeal. The quartz movement ensures it's always accurate, and the scratch-resistant mineral crystal means I can wear it daily without worrying. Plus, it's water-resistant up to 30 meters, which is perfect for everyday wear. The Gallery Series never disappoints with its casual yet sophisticated style.
I always liked the Timex Expedition series field watches because they are durable, stylish and affordable. You can't go wrong with an Expedition in most scenarios.
The Expedition North Field Hand Wind is, for me, the most beautiful watch in the catalogue. The reason is my indispensable passion for mechanical watches and plain looking watches. Having sapphire glass is also a great plus.
A day-to-go watch is definitely the Tissot Chronograph Quartz Blue Dial Men's Watch The blue color of the dial has that classical vibe, which makes my eye enticed by it. The rose gold colour and the blue colour really blend in well for me. On top of that BLUE TEXTILE STRAP! Very magnificent for me.
The Timex Field Mechanical is my favorite because it checks all of the boxes in my perfect watch. Great movement, sapphire glass, thin wearable case, 100m water resistance and my FAVORITE dial from Vietnam Era military issue watches!! AWESOME!! I would LOVE to win the collection!!
I really love the Timex Q 3-Time Zon Chronograph Quartz Black Dial. I think it’s perfect to start a collection, looks really classy and looks much more expensive than it really is. It’ll be reliable too. Looks a bit like a speedmaster but shouldn’t mind that I think it’s complements it more.
The Expedition North Field that you picked for the giveaway is in my opinion one of the best looking there are; simple, clean. And thats what mostly matters to me. The water resistance is a great bonus. I am a simple man, i want my watch to show time, i dont need the bells and whistles.
Honestly that Q timex is super unique. Would love to sport that whole timex collection. My favorite Jomashop offering right now has to be the Black Bay Fifty Eight Automatic Chronometer Blue Dial. Thanks for doing another give away!!
Top 3 (because I can't pick just one) in no particular order 1) T80 - Pure 80's vibe for an 80's kid 2) Snoopy - Who doesn't love Snoopy 3) Ironman Sleek - Because just Wow!!
The Expedition North Field Hand Wind Blue Dial is my favorite. I've always been drawn to that field watch style and I don't have one in blue. I'm also a sucker for Indiglo which is why I still enjoy wearing my two Timex Weekenders (one white, one black).
I actually just fell in love with the Waterbury Quartz Pink Dial. It's a bit blingy and out there but to me it's the perfect summers watch. Could go well with a linnen shirt or shorts, or with a light blue, grey or even green suit to the office. I didn't knew I needed a watch with a pink dial, but here I am... :)
1st, thank you for Featuring Timex. It is an incredible brand with a rich history, however, is not mentioned much by larger creators. 2nd for me my favorite is the Timex Q for some of the reasons your wife mentioned(ironically). The Q is so distinctly Timex that it makes me love it even more. It’s not trying to be something that it is not like Rolex or Omega it is a Quartz Timex and proud of it
Timex's catalog is well rounded with something for everyone... My pick would be the TW2U99300, not only I'm a sucker for the vintage look, but also it reminds me of one of my grandfather watches. Unfortunately I don't recall the make and model but I still have quite present the sector dial that I loved, and that I spent hours looking at.
One of my closest friends introduced me to watches with a orient automatic. He had a magnificent watch box that spanned from casio and to seiko and some expensive brands I can't quite recall. He's in the hospital with sepsis and a cellulitis case. His watch collection was recently lost in a fire at his home. This would be a wonderful start to getting a good collection going.
Dive watches are my favorite, so I'm instantly drawn to the Navi XL. But that Waterbury GMT just looks cool and classy! Also, having a separate pusher to operate the GMT hand is pretty cool! I vaguely remember my dad having a white dial Timex on a brown leather strap back in the day. I wish he still had it, or that I could remember the reference.
The field mechanical is something I could use to the best of its abilities. I am currently using a casio f91 at the moment while I'm in the field. I've found that during my time in the military that a small tough watch is the best thing you could ask for! Anything bulky just gets caught up on all my gear!
That expedition north field mechanical is an absolute spec monster for the price! So good to see that timex are still flying the flag for the budget conscious watch buyer. My fave going into this video was the OG Timex Q which I snagged for a bargain on eBay a few years back - but having seen the gold version in this video, it’s just next level 70s vibes! New fave!
I really like the “Q Three Time Zone Chronograph Quartz” with the white dial. It has the 70s case shape, a GMT hand, a GMT bezel, high contrast hands and index surrounds (which give Explorer 2 vibes without feeling like a copy) and a flipping chronograph function! Pop of red from the GMT hand, big bold pushers… so much to like here. It’s also original enough in its styling that it doesn’t feel like it’s pretending to be something it’s not. I’m a big fan. I also like the T inside the Mercedes style hand. Tercedes… or Mercedex!
My favorite Timex avalilable at Jomashop is the Heritage Waterbury Chronograph Quartz Blue Dial Men's Watch, it looks so elegant, it seems it goes with a lot of outfits and it looks way more expensive than it is...its a must for a watch collection and I would love to see it on my wrist
I picked the Marlin Automatic Silver Dial Men's Watch because my Grandfather sported them, in fact I bought one last year that looks exactly like one he owned just so I could have something to remind me of him in my watch collection, seeing he is probably the one person who influenced my watch fascination. I even sport a nato style strap with it just like he did too.
Timex are the only brand keeping the "analog with a backlight" dream alive. Big ups to indiglo. I wish they put it on all their watches.
I miss the Casio Super Illuminator :(
Only works for quartz watches, sadly. Makes sense why on many of the watches that don't have Indiglo, either heritage or lack of a battery.
agreed

It’s wonderful you have that connection to your late friend and his beloved Timex
@@thehappywristchannelThank you! They're a constant reminder and the kids ask loads of questions which means I get to tell all our war stories 😂.
What the wife said is the main reason I keep coming back to your videos, absolute class
Yes! This was one of the best installments of What the wife said😂
Timex MK1. The watch worn by McGyver.
Yes it's highly relatable 😅
Ha, she doesn't hold back.
Need that perspective. I mean ill still wear my badass ugly af watch. But i appreciate the input.
I love the “Expedition north field” and the “Q reissue”, not only because of the excellent value for money, but also because they resemble two of the most beloved watches that my dad used to wear almost every day before passing away, and he was the big reason why I got into watches in the first place. 🙌🏼
I am sooo glad you highlighted these. Timex is still making watch prices livable
My favorite is the Light Blue Citizen Tsuyosa because I love the sleek design and the blue dial reminds me of summer
I personally love the Timex Marlin Jet Automatic. It's so clean and yet has so much class and character, truly a work of art.
The snoopy is great but I don’t know why I keep falling back and loving the Q’s! The gold and black is so nice
Absolutely phenomenal. The value of this 4 watch collection is well.. phenomenal

As a Timex collector, I love this video is it highlights the versatility and affordability of the brand.

The Timex Peanuts snoopy quartz! Cute little piece. And what a fantastic 4-watch collection you’re giving away!
My favorite is the Waterbury Traditional. It's unique, easy to read, has day and date complications, and the green seconds hand adds a nice bit of color to spice it up.
Expedition North Field for me, I always eye for this thing for a long time but always like a couple who never got a chance to match together
Love the channel have for a long time. The Timex Q brings back good memories of when I was a kid love that watch. My Dad wore the Q. Very generous of you to do a give away!!!
The Timex Milano XL Quartz Silver Dial Men’s Watch looks really smart 👌🏼
My choice too.
Hi, Timex is one of my favorite watch brands and it doesn't receive much positive attention on RUclips, just harsh criticism of questionable models. Timex Q reissue blue dial for me. Always loved this style even before it came back into fashion in recent years. Nice giveaway!
Superb my friend
Timex is one of the best, I grew up 20 mins from where Timex was born (originally the Waterbury Clock Company). My great grandmother worked and retired from there.
That Timex Allied LT Quartz Grey Dial watch would be perfect for when I go fishing. And the hands even look like fishing floats! 🎣
The Timex M79 Automatic caught my eyes. I love the color of the bezel, it's black and blue. It compliments the black dial and the red seconds hand also pops up. I think it's gonna look good on my wrist. I love it!
The first watch I bought from my first salary was a timex expedition north solar, its simply great!
Wearing it right now too!
Awesome!
my current favourite is the Expedition North Sierra 40mm in black. It doesn't look like there's gonna be a winner now doesn't it
Expedition North Field - Great looks, great movement, a proper field watch and a watch I have wanted for a long time!
Hate to be pushy, but any updates on this giveaway?
I want to know too. I really want to buy one of this Timex but I won't do it just in case I win the giveaway. I'm just hanging between buying or keep waiting
@@lionezekai9799lol 😂 same with me. I had my eye set on the Timex expedition north mechanical for a while now.
Pretty much the same. I'm asking because I'm wondering if maybe the winner was announced privately. Could happen.
The Timex Black Bay 58, I mean Harborside Coast would be my go-to. Love the BB vibes and specially the price!
My first watch, in the mid 1980's was a Timex Playskool collaboration. Honestly Timex have such a great back catalogue and love the brand, hope they are around for ever
I love the look of the Timex Field Mechanical , and that blue is gorgeous

Love the Waterbury traditional with the silver dial. The dial reminds me of a porthole, and the watch is just pure class. So the perfect all-rounder.
Thanks for highlighting these watches, Timex has been killing it the past couple of years and enthusiasts who haven't heard need to know! That Expedition North field watch is an absolute bargain! The one I liked the most was the Waterbury Traditional (specifically the TW2U99300). I’m a big fan of space age era chrome design, and that one reminds me of the chrome alarm clocks that were made back in the day.
The Navi Xl Automatic Black Dial looks absolutely stunning with the red bezel combined with the leather strap, automatic to top it off. Amazing watch
Original 80's Ironman. Such a cool industrial-looking display.
Heritage Waterbury Chronograph Quartz Blue Dial. I love the entire Waterbury line, but the blue/almost denim color dial with silver is incredible.
I love the heritage Waterbury chronograph because it’s a chronograph and it’s back and white. It looks simple but elegant.❤
For me the Timex TW2U61900 Q Reissue Quartz Blue Dial. I think the blue looks lovely on this timepiece and could be great for everyday use, matching basically any color that you wear.
The Navi XL with the green bezel really pops for me. As an emt I love the fact that the hour hand circle shows military time at a quick glance.
Love the channel. My wife loves all the watches but her favorite is the Q Timex dive watch in gold!!
Looked at all them, and this is the one I would choose “Expedition North Field Hand Wind Blue Dial Men's Watch”
Cheers Mark!!
Timex q blue dial is my fav. I also love Timex Marlin chrono and mf 13. Great collection to own❤
Wow, for me it’s the Timex watch TW2V43500 its an absolute stunner!
A day-to-go watch is definitely the Tissot Chronograph Quartz Blue Dial Men's Watch
The blue color of the dial has that classical vibe, which makes my eye enticed by it.
I personally own a q timex and the quality is phenomenal but that Allied LT quartz looks like the perfect everyday watch for me.
I'm really loving the Fairfield Quartz. It has a cool vintage dress watch vibes, with a clean look, and the bracelet reminds me a Patek.
Top 3 (because I can't pick just one) in no particular order
1) T80 - Pure 80's vibe for an 80's kid
2) Snoopy - Who doesn't love Snoopy
3) Ironman Sleek - Because just Wow!!
I’m loving the Modern Easy Reader Quartz White Dial. It’s that kind of watch that you can wear anytime anywhere and it will always look fancy.
My favorite is my dad's old Easy Reader. He used to love setting off the Indiglo in the middle of the night.
Love the Waterbury Legacy Quartz Blue Dial Men's Watch. Love it for its simple dial with a fluted bezel.
The Expedition North is the star for me - looks good, decent quality - including the strap, automatic ... A nice practical watch you can proudly wear.
New fave!
NAVI XL with the red bezel, looks awesome. Also love the hole in the hour hand for the 24 hour
The Navi XL Quartz Black Dial. Very beautiful, casual and perfect for the summer.
The Expedition North Field post solar 36 mm looks clean. My first watch was a Timex bought by my parents when I was 8 in 1980.
Timex Expedition North Field. It's one of the few Timex watches that caught my eye for quite a while. It's affordable yet classy look 👌
