Hi, OnePlus 12R has IP 64 water and dust resistance rating. It is mentioned in their descriptions. It also has the "Aqua Touch" feature.
Is the camera upgrade in 12 worth the 18k ? Confused between 12 and 12r(256gb). My Priority is Camera and Battery. Not interested in Soc/Wireless charging as Im a light user. Please help me out bro!

Vivo x100 is the smartphone for you brother, it might beat op12 in camera and x100 got ip68 rating so you'll capture pictures in rain too
Go with Vivo V 29 series in the same budget if camera is your priority.
12 comes with better sensors. Better wide angle & telephoto, so if these are your priority then buy it else carry on with main cam on 12r

For camera OnePlus 12R isn’t the best
It's sad to see manufactures still use 8mp ultrawide camera, whereas I'm still looking for a upgrade for my poco x3 which has a 13mp really great ultrawide angle camera and a 64mp sony main camera which i bought for just ₹16k in 2020. Smartphones at that price point today just honestly are disappointing. Even the latest poco x6 pro isn't a full upgrade from the poco x3.

the screen is the same except for higher refresh rate on realme 144hz compar3ed to 120hz on Oneplus , but the LTPO technology used in the realme is not as advanced in thesense they have used only LTPO display while Oneplus has used the latest LTPO4 display

OnePlus 11R is underclocked hence its users don't experience pure 8+ Gen1, so please tell if OnePlus 12R is underclocked version of 8 Gen 2?
Moreover with a 8 Gen 2 phone under 40k or 45k, you can't expect IP68 rating.
At this price point either you take good quality processing power & build quality or lot of features.
