A lot different setup than our super-b's in Canada. No lift axles, actually they are illegal to run up here. Run the lead with 21 metric tonnes approximately and the rear with about the same. tri in the middle and tandem in the rear. I have pulled super's with alot less truck. Some trailers here can carry up to 45 metric tonne.
I wonder why trucks /axles, in the usa may carry so little weight...? We in Holland carry standard 59524 lbs on a tri-axle , and 39683 lbs on a tandem. A single axle may carry 24250 lbs. Total weights in Holland is standard 110231 lbs. And we have the 25,25 meter trucks that may weigh 132277 lbs.
Yep. It has nothing to do with a state that's completely broke, has little to no industry left, and is a shell of it's former self. The auto industry and general manufacturing has fled the US and Canada for the cheaper labour market overseas, but us truckers that bring food, clothes and building materials are to blame..
@@randgrithr7387 As you are right in one aspect about the weight on one tire but consider the square inches that you’re car tire has in contact with the pavement as compared to the square inches of a semi truck.
The weight is spread out more so than a standard truck, and a set of b trains is usually hauling 2 single loads so 2 for 1 less bug trucks needed to haul the product so less trucks on the road
Thanks for all the fruit loops and apple jacks! Golden Grahams, too.
😂👍

Well explained great video .
That's similar to the road trains they have down in Australia.
I didn't know we also have those type of vehicles here in the US.

Thank you for being specific with weights on the axles.
So this is why the roads in Michigan are all beat up
Our weight is evenly distributed over way more axles. If you do the math cars are actually worse for the roads.

@@wyatte7779 My car is only 1700/1200 lbs on the F/R axles... One steer tire on a tractor trailer is holding double the weight of my car.

Van der Werff.....,..a dutch name. Van hollandse afkomst ?
13 speed and a b train. Thats just sad
I run a 2014 T800 13 speed with a set of triple ten trains
That's better than a KW wrecker with a 10 speed.
