I went to the music shop and played all three GS minis, (spruce, mahogany and the koa) I chose the mahogany one, it sounded clear but warm at the same time, to my ears it sounded more balanced than the other two.
Possiedo la Taylor gs mini koa 2018, ed una Yamaha Ls16 A. R. E, due chitarra totalmente diverse, ma la Taylor ha un sol ed un re, molto più presenti rispetto la Yamaha.. Yamaha manca di basse presenze.. Anche se nel complesso Yamaha è molto una chitarra fantastica

I like them both in their own way. They are surprisingly nice guitars.

The 50th Spruce just pops! I believe the top is torrified which helps.
Spruce top sounds better in my opinion.

KOA sounds brighter. I have GS Mini KOA, no regrets.
