I have played guitar for 30 years. I played and owned acoustics during those years but never really enjoyed it. I was into the electric guitar. Metal, shredding, Van Halen, Stevie Ray. I loved acoustic guitar as well but it didn’t like me😂 A couple years ago my wife and I went to a music store and she fell in love with a Taylor GS mini mahogany guitar and bought it. I thought it was silly but whatever. One day months later I picked it up and played it and I was hooked. I have been playing it everyday since to the point my wife bought another one for herself. Even my friends who are die hard dreadnought players force themselves to admit it sounds pretty good.
Thank you for showing us this Taylor. My only suggestion would be to have him play these guitars that are equipped with a preamp through an audio interface so we can hear that aspect of the sound. I hardly ever play my acoustic unplugged. I play every week in church through in ear monitors or through a PA system without iem’s. Otherwise, I always enjoy hearing from you guys!
@@KalajengkingHitam Yeah, I have a GS Mini-e Koa Plus and I use a Unitune headstock tuner and after just a month or two it wore part of the decal off. They should have put the finish over the decal instead of the decal over the finish
I have this one in the left-handed model. It's awesome
I've had the Mahogany model for years, it was my hotel room guitar during work travel. I'd trade it in for this one, I love that finish
Love the Taylor GS MINI!!! I own 3 of them. All different models. Thinking of buying the 50th anniversary! Thanks for sharing.
GS Minis are cool anyway- this one is exceptional ❤!!
I want said thank you for u two, becoz make me know many great guitar , it is really helpful to me. Thanks

Excellent playing as usual. Thanks for the review not plugged in, the top does sound wonderful and played in.
How does it compare to the Koa Plus?
Im really enjoying my 2022 214ce deluxe sunburst right now. 😊
The mini projects better than anything small.
Doesn't sound as good as the Gretsch Jim Dandy Dreadnaught which is like Gibson LG2
@@hotlov72 Jim Dandy Dreadnaught?
Great price for a torrefied top. Most would happily pay even more for a solid back and sides.
Hey, nice review! What is the Gibson model on the wall behind you? The one with the star inlays on the neck?

What is the black one hanging up
50th anniversary on the way right now
What strings are on it?
Solid or laminate body?
Solid top, Layered back and sides.
Does it come with the Aero bag ?
No, just the standard mini case.
The aero bag is too massive and heavy for a gs mini anyway
I’ve had a mahogany mini for years now. It’s loud.
That's a lot of dough for a campfire guitar. I've owned three mini's. Sold em all. They are not quite giggable to me.
Still Rekon Mini Rosewood plus is the best one
This is basically the same guitar just with a satin finish instead of gloss
It's a shame about the cheaply stenciled Taylor logo on the headstock.
What do you mean?
@@KalajengkingHitam The Taylor logo is stenciled over the finish and comes off easily
@@frogblues you see it in person?

Features the, "Good" ES2 pickup system....but you're not allowed to hear it.
Too much talking too little playing.🤨
Buy one and play it yourself.
@@TheMad0ne Naah! I'll stick with My Lowden thanks.
@@robinmacaw Good for you. Now go play it without talking.
@@TheMad0ne you're the one doing all the Chopsing 🤣
Nope.
