Just got my Martin Custom 0000-18 1932 Sunburst; 1 11/16", short scale I designed. Never thought I'd do/afford that. Martin said it would take 10-12 months to build/waitlist. And to my surprise at 6 months, I got that call it was done!! Just got it less than a month ago. They are incredible instruments.
I have tried this martin model in one of the guitar shops here in the UK, exceptional tone especially the bass, though it can be too boomy at times, but with the right control that can be tamed.. I ended up going home with an om28.
@@underscorn32517 it’s important to go with your heart .. reason being if you don’t follow it .. then later it’s the pain of regret .. regretfully sometimes like your ex girlfriend hahahah though that’s a very bad example i’m stating . OM28 it’s a great guitar 🎸
@TheGuitarSpaSingapore 😅 your example is catchy though.. so i get the point.. I play mostly fingerstyle, so the om28 won me over the m36 due to comfort of playing, tonal balance and looks of course (however I am not saying that the m36's lacking these traits). Though if I have the means I would buy both.. 😁 My om28's over 2 yrs. old now and it just blows me away every playing sesh..
@ the mystical charm about the martin’s is .. they aged pretty good and well .. over time then will develop into something more matured and deep .. that is not found on new martin’s you will love her more and more
Thanks Jarvis! Great video. May I know how would this be compare this with the Yamaha's FG340 which also has a 3 PCs back. ( Not sure if this comparison is fair though).
@@ivanwuyy i have not played a FG340 and the yamaha are just different.. you listen to this track and you can roughly hear this compared to the many yamahas that i’ve reviewed before
Hey Jarvis, want to thank you again for setting up my omjm at the Martin Experience yesterday. Plays so much better now ❤

Truly outstanding!
I brought one of these 4 months ago. I love it so much. Great compliment to my Taylor 510e and Martin J16 12 string.

@@TheGuitarSpaSingapore Well said Jarvis! 🙌🏻👌🏻
That Martin has more overtones than McPherson. McPherson tigher midrange
