Good job Cynthia 👍 My 17 year old son is on a track to join AFROTC after high school (probably Purdue University) and doing research I came across your videos. Hopefully get some good insight in the ROTC Scholarship and Air Force in general. Thanks again for the information and Thank You for your Service. 🙏
Congrats on getting picked up for 13S! I applied for 13S since I was a 1C6 on the active side but got picked up for a 21R (LRO) slot this year. Should be in OTS by Jan :)
Found you on Instagram and followed you here so I thought this vid would be a good place to start. I know I’m a little late to the party but I just wanted to wish you luck moving forward!🍀
This is amazing! Great information. Great video editing. I really like the side text. You have a very entertaining and enjoyable personality. Can’t wait for the next video!
Glad to see your hard work and determination paying off! Wish you the best in your space adventures. Can you sing the Space Force song in the next video?
🤍WoW Cynthia Oh my Goddess Lol! Truly what a blessing you are and I Love your tattoos too! How Cool! You are truly Awesome and I am so grateful for you, to you, by the Cosmos. You know...The uniqueness of yourself... is well off the chart. I never seen it before until you, and I am so happy for you. All the blessings and promises are Yes and so be it All! I knew inside of you it was new and I appreciate it from my Heart. All my Love to you All! You’re the Best! You are Beloved! I am so excited for you as everything is gonna be so sweet! Thank you thank you thank you🤍
Are you one of those Nordic aliens everyone talks about. I want to be in intelligence from what I’ve been able to learn as a civilian :) in the process of digesting my decision and doing what’s necessary. Love the moon and mars that’s my life studying our civilization and history and the solar system. Would be arrogant to assume we’re the first or the best or the only ones in the local region excited to join the future is bright with those who have eyes.

Awesome vid! I’m enlisted and will be separating this year at 11 years. I haven’t ruled out commissioning back into the space force, as I need a mental break. This video was very informative!
Public speaking is a perishable skill... actually, good communication in general is lost art to most these days. Great concept/forum to get some more practice in!
Hello m’am, Army air defender here and ussf ist applicant as well. Congrats on your transition to a new field, branch, and adventure. Question, how did you enjoy your space study bachelors from AMU? Fellow amu student and the degree always piqued my interest.
Does the Air Force fund your graduate studies? I’m guessing you received your bachelors in Space Studies while in the Air Force. I am a physics undergraduate and trying to decide whether to try and go to OTS after college or after pursuing graduate studies. Do they provide/fun graduate study programs through the Air Force? What values of yours do you think align best with Air Force? What do you think enabled your success?
Great questions you have! The AF does fund for graduate studies, they are paying for mine as we speak. As an AF member (officer or enlisted) you get $4500 a year for tuition assistance, which will pay for 6 classes a year (my college offers military discounts on their tuition). If I was in your shoes I would start applying for OTS now and start on your graduate degree while in the application process. As I’ve mentioned, the OTS process is extremely competitive and IF you don’t get picked up the first round, your second application will be even stronger showing the you are investing towards a graduate degree. The degree does not have to be complete in order for you to apply! The AF does offer awesome graduate and doctorate degree programs you can apply for, AF institute of technology (AFIT) is one of them. You can google them to get more info. Lastly, I believe that my motivation and passion to become a better well rounded person helped me align with the AF and enabled my success. I always have an interest in learning and helping others. Thank you for your great questions!!
Space Nerd Confessions Thank you so much for the insight! I’m going to do my own research now, and try to make a plan. I am similar to you in the sense that I want to aid people/world with the knowledge I obtain. As I say “life is an experiment full of experiences”, so it’s always a learning/growing process. Thanks for your time!
Hi there, question on Intelligence Analyst career. Are there many options for using this specialty in the civilian realm after leaving military? Coming back to work civilian position for Air Force, or other options outside of three letter organizations? Thanks for the info as looking into Air Guard and deciding between Intel and Cyber. More passionate about intel, but I feel that there are more career opportunities for cyber. Thanks for your videos!
Tons and tons of opportunities for intel after the military!! The options are overwhelming but in a good way. Have you checked out my video SPACE FORCE CAREER FIELDS + INTERVIEWS WITH AIR FORCE INTEL ANALYSTS!! ?? I interviewed intel analysts with different jobs and they address this question. If intel is your passion then do it. It’s a great career field!!
Space Nerd Confessions , thank you I have not watched that one yet! Going to check it out now, and thank you again for sharing your info and insight into the field.
What are the general responsibilities of a space operations officer? Do you plan on becoming an astronaut? Are space operations officer able to become astronauts? If it is possible, what is the process to become an astronaut?
Quick question ik I’m hella late haha. But how easy would it be to get a civilian job in the space industry after you get out? Btw I’m currently in the Air Force waiting for basic training😎
@@SpaceNerdConfessions A buddy of mine, who has not one but 3 degrees, just transitioned to the Space Force to become a Developmental Engineer. Do you have any advice for someone who had to leave AFROTC and is now planning to attend OTS upon graduating college?
Keep an open mind at OTS. It may seem overwhelming or at some times redundant, but there are a lot of lessons to be learned. Even with 8 years of service I had to take a step back and soak it all in.
