1.purchase a bag of ice to chew on 2.gum 3. Roll the window down, fresh air helps 4. Bang energy drinks(personal preference) these seem to work for me. No crash effect and mental fogginess goes away. 5.pull over and do some push ups After a while you get accustomed, sleep becomes an after thought.
@@Pcola_drone says the guy who looks like he just did a bunch of blow on his pic 🖕you do you bud😅I’m sure you’re a “super trucker” running on nothing but water and fruits right? no coffee or caffeine at all. Key words “personal preference” 🧏♂️ might need an energy drink since you missed that.
Best works for me is keep snacks close and eat 1. Snacks 2. Talk to friends 3. Listen to documentaries or some favorite channels 4. Get accustomed to quick short naps like 30 minutes , 1 hour 5. Stop for quick shower 6. Tea / coffee If you feel that you are dangerously driving don’t push on , take a nap
Thank you for these tips! I’m preparing myself for my first Lon and out of state trip driving the motor coach. I appreciate all of the tips! Much love.
Up late and driving since this morning and I have to drive until tomorrow morning. Seeing if there is anything you guys recommend that I have not tried already. I completely agree with speaking to somebody over the phone, in the past, fellow truck drivers, friends of mine have helped me drive all night without looking at the clock. Music, three years into driving, gets played out. Anyhow, thank you for the advice keep the videos coming in the wheels rolling.
The snow is so pretty, nice video, you should add sun flower seeds to your snacks. They’re really good & keep you up since you have to keep breaking the shells over and over again.
Coffee and cigarettes that's what keeps me awake, thank God for free refills at loves, and George Noory in the middle of the night. I definitely prefer to pull freight at night when there's less traffic.
I stayed up all night playing nba 2k24 and now I gotta drive for work this morning and I go out of town n stuff but it’s my own damn fault so not complaining but this helped thanks
Now that I’m not OTR anymore I sure wish I would’ve known better than shopping @ the truck stops! Hit up a Dollar Tree & stock up! That would be money well saved! Now I’m home every night & I take my lunch every day!
@@leroylawrence2773 yea it’s not unheard of but having experience will keep the insurance rates down for companies hiring driver with less experience 👍🏼
how long would you say your on the road at a time I have kids and afraid of being gone too long or not being home enough. Can this be an issue? If so at what point do you have off time and for how long?
Taking naps works best for me , I just turn on cruise control so I still arrive on time, also napping with one eye and staying on the road with the other one works too

Horrible fucking advice. Drinking energy drinks is not good long term. Don’t spread this bullshit

Chewing gum works the face muscles, after a while itll make the muscles fatiged and tires, causing drowsiness

Absolutely!!
It's so annoying that my driving job doesn't allow smoking in their vehicles. The modern world has become so stupid.
