From Titanic Honor and Glory Britannic Patroness of the Mediterranean real time sinking video they got the time wrong at 9.05 a.m. Britannic is gone. In the game in history it is said she foundered at 9.12. The correct time is 9.07.
The rudder was turned to port because Britannic was overshooting Kea, but by the time this order was given too much of the rudder was out of the water to be effective. The rudder is facing slightly to port on the wreck today.
How do you get the textures to get clear in the game while the ship is sinking? For me when the ship hits the mine the textures start getting a little blurry. How do I fix it?
Speaking of the telegraphs, they were made by J. W. Ray and Co. of Liverpool and London. It’s primary headquarters were in 17 South Castle Street in Liverpool.
I’m going to do a video commemorating the 104th anniversary of the sinking and I want to know how you timed this, like is there a way to pause the game and then move to a different part of the ship?
This video was taken from 15 or so separate play-throughs. Then I used video editing software to time it back together. Often using the in-game sound cues to remember certain events / time scale.
@@mrplane4205 when using universal unreal unlocker it is yea. I believe p will freeze game time but still let you move around. I didn't use it for this upload though.
Hey, I'm planning on doing a Livestream on the anniversary of the sinking. I was hoping to have a segment of watching and commentating on the real-time sinking. Unfortunately, my computer is incapable of running POTM on stream. I would like to ask if you'd be okay with me using your video? I also prefer a lot more of the angles used in your video than the ones in THG's, and the text provides more details that would be interesting to talk about. If not, that's completely fine.
If you plan to watch with my video in the background playing from this link then that'd be fine. Though please don't download and reupload this video to your channel.
@@NikkiChan92 Yes, that is exactly what I plan. I have no intentions on reuploading it, It'll just be used for the stream. I can also provide a link to your video in the stream description if you would prefer it.

With the second beach attemptHad captain bartlett restarted the starboard engine as well im sure the ship would have made it as it was directly aiming for kea when it started moving again
Probably not. The ship sank several miles from Kea only a brief time after the engines were ordered restarted, so it wouldn’t have made much of a difference.
@@scotty87able if I had taken a camera view from kea during the final moments, you would've seen that Britannic was still 3 miles from the island when the bow struck bottom. The rate of flooding increased so much after the engines were restarted that even if the starboard engine had been engaged, Britannic still would've succumb to the sea before hitting a shallow.

I just captured this from potm after moving the camera all the way out to kea. Taken when Captain Bartlett signals the two abandon ship whistles. 47:22 in the video.
Might wanna refresh on your Britannic research. The funnels are depicted falling the way they do due to how they were discovered on the sea floor. Funnel 3 first, then funnel 2, then funnel 4. Funnel 1 either fell as it went under (as depicted here) or held on until Britannic hit the sea floor. Captain Bartlett mentioned that shortly after he got away from the ship he saw funnel 3 fall first.
Loved the video, enjoyable and in-depth about the Britannic
0:10 Britannic is steaming 20 knots just 1 knot ahead of her cruising speed 21 knots.
It's so weird that everything is in it's exact same place on the wreckage
