Wait you really hadn't done ANY Castlevania music?! I didn't even notice, shit. You really bring out those moody gothic vibes of it that're usually kinda buried under the more obvious sounds. This dropped at a good time too because I've been getting deep back into Ronald Jenkees again lol. I know it's already given so much preferential treatment, but I've never heard a really slow and somber version of Bloody Tears. I think that'd slapppp. Maybe SOTN's Lost Painting, or maybe An Empty Tome from Ecclesia? Hell, I wouldn't be picky, I think you pair really well with Castlevania's vibe!
@@SvartWolf I have such a soft spot for Curse of Darkness (apparently along with the whole Netflix Castlevania team lmao). Good soundtrack, yeah, there was a few bangers in there. Can't say I remember any music from the 64 games tho... Personally that's why I like people remixing down more upbeat tracks, rather than trying to add extra dimension to more ambient ones. You usually keep that catchiness even if you make it slide into the background a bit.
Oh my gawdddd, this is great! Castlevania music really suits your style. I've listened to a LOT of other covers of Dracula's Curse, and not even Joshua Morse's version touches this!! The Moog really cuts through, of course, but all the other instrumentation and timbres work together to push that lonely, spooky, romantic quality over the edge!
A great take on that Castlevania track
More Castlevania please!
oh this is *juicy*. absolutely fantastic cover

Incredible. Perfect pacing and a delight to listen to! Really well done!!
That synth in the middle in the intro sounds very "Celeste".
