Great GREAT tutorial! I just started embroidering in November, purchased “The Essentials” and it is intuitive to a point. This video was very helpful. Cant wait to watch more!
Thank you so much. I have been trying for a week to get a name on the little golf cart and make three copies. Worked great! I want to add you are a great teacher!
i recently tried to color sort a design that I had duplicated 3 designs of the same thing. I checked with Embrilliance to see why it wouldn't do a color sort and they said it was because my first and last color were the same and that's why. He told me how to change it but when I did that, it still didn't work. Do you have any suggestions as to what to do. I've never seen a video that says you can't have the same first and last color.
that's the same problem I'm having. since it combines the same colors, it cuts steps. no good. i have to manualy change the colors that are the same to different colors.. it's a pain
Yes, you will have to change colors if you want it to sort it the right way. I try to use different colors for every step in every design for this reason, but frankly you kindof run out of colors if it's too detailed, especially in DST (or is it EXP?) where you only have a few to choose from and it ropes in lots of shades as one color.
