Don't feel bad, I didn't know of them until 2019 when they opened for King Diamond, I was blown away. I have all their albums and they get spun in heavy rotation at my house !!
I was born a wicked man, no hopes or dreams I get my kicks from torturing and screams I lust for women's blood, and their evil ways I twist my words to what the good book says
I used to be concerned that as all my favourite bands had been going years, I would have nothing new to listen to once they quit. Bands like this have have given me new hope for the future of rock music. Cheers Unc!
I love how it's taken zeppelin/the stones and classic blues rock into the metal realm. This is the kind of music I have been looking for for a long long time being a stoner and a metalhead lol.
I would sell my soul to live inside this for eternity. This video, this song, I could just live there forever. For some it could be considered hell, but to me, heaven.
Haven't put head butt dents in the walls this hard in years! You tubes found another group thats been around for years ( but Im seekng em for 1st time to).
Stoned Jesus, The Myrrors, Horn of the Rhino, Brutus, Kadavar Egypt, Asteroid, Sasquatch, Orange Goblin, Electric Wizard, Red Fang, The Sword, The Cosmic Dead, Tool, Orchid, Ghost :)
I can't say enough good things about this band. When I got my Mt. Abraxis t-shirt in the mail, someone hand-painted the envelope! I thought that was the coolest thing, well besides their tunes.
They are still doing it too. I recently bought a t-shirt and they even went the extra mile by throwing in some Zots candies, stickers, and a pin of their logo. When the colors on my shirt started turning pink, I emailed them and they sent another shirt immediately. On the envelope of the shirt, it read "Master ov the ever changing ink" lol I'm going to frame both the envelopes and hang them on my wall of metal memorabilia.
Black sabbath attempted to start the apocalypse a year or two ago and took these guys on tour sadly it didn't work because black sabbaths original drummer bill ward wasn't there...................anyone listening?
There is a clear Sabbath influence here, with a hint of Hawkwind and Hendrix, and absolutely everything about this video from the bands attire to the use of lighting and trippy colors screams 60's psychedelia. Could this be the kick up the arse that the current music scene needs? All I know is, I love what I see and I see what I love! ^_^
The Music of the 60's and 70's with all of ist illusional greatness and mind bending rythm, but wiht the cold hard lyrics of reality of this time (Manson, JFK murder, Sects etc..)
Had never heard about them - then (after a show Danava and Lecherous Gaze played in Switzerland) I bought the split-7'' with Danava. "I'll Cut You Down" blew my mind. Now I need more...
@@serpentinefire921Actually it feels an indirect influence from the Beatles. So much on the part of Black Sabbath Ozzy said they were a huge inspiration for his sound. As well as other garage bands of the 2000s and 60's. Especially Heavy Psych bands (a genre to which the Beatles were no strangers) 🤓👆
Psychedelic Doom Metal. Whether you like categories or not, that's an interesting one. Fear and Loathing. \m/ Another good band in a kind of similar category is Goatsnake.
Wow I made this comment six years ago. Goatsnake is definitely a lot sludgier than uncle acid. They both have psych elements to them, tonally they are quite different. The only uncle acid riff I can really think of that might be a little bit comparable to goatsnake is withered hand of evil. I think at the time I was just on a goatsnake kick and wanted to put them out there
@@SF2036 Thanks for mentioning Goatsnake, just checked them out. Definitely going onto my favourites list. To me the best band ever is Dopethrone. If you haven't already, go check them out.
@xjohncashinx I'm not sure the exact context of this footage, but the majority of it (if not all) you can find on the special features of the film Something Weird on dvd. It's called "lsd psychadelic freakout" or something like that.
144p... The HD of psychedelic rock.
This is some of the sexiest acid rock I've heard in a long time....
I swear if I didn't know better, this sounds like a gem that had been lost in the 60's archives and rediscovered. Wow... love this.
I just discovered them. I actually thought they were late 60s early 70s
@@ballinhobo8603 just now. Amazing how some amazing music goes unnoticed for years.
Found them a few months ago and they have completely taken over my playlists... and really influenced the music I've been making myself.
The good thing about gems is they stand the test of time. Another 8 years, still gets discovered.
i thought so too
I must've been under a rock or in a cave for the last 12 years or so, but I just found this band. This has become an obsession listening to this band.
You're late to the party but come in! Welcome.
Same, too many stoner-doom clone bands around so the good ones go unnoticed sometimes. I love this album, nothing groundbreaking but it's lot of fun.
Don't feel bad, I didn't know of them until 2019 when they opened for King Diamond, I was blown away. I have all their albums and they get spun in heavy rotation at my house !!
I agree! I am obsessed with 'em! They are great!!!!!!!!!

I used to be concerned that as all my favourite bands had been going years, I would have nothing new to listen to once they quit. Bands like this have have given me new hope for the future of rock music. Cheers Unc!
In all of its simplicity, this is among my favorite videos of all time. Its the reason they became one of my favorite bands when I discovered it...
I've been around and I'm old, theses guys are a breath of fresh air for hard rock/metal..

Try Saint Karloff - Interstellar Voodoo... a deeper pit into Hell

Just saw these guys last night in Glasgow. Blew me away. Brilliant live.

They are amazing in Prague.

Takes right back to discovering rock bands in the early 70s 🎸🎼
Saw them live in Oslo last night. It was awesome. What a great band!

Going to see this fantastic band on Friday! Been waiting a very long time!
absolutely amazing!!! We all can't wait for Roadburn 2013!
Best of this time❤
You guys need to come to Greece IMMEDIATELY!
In response to my comment, 8 years after, they have come and the show was simply great
I just discovered this band. They are everything that is right about the music industry. Their sound is super fresh, son!
Hoping to catch these guys at Donington this year. Perfect festival music.
This is one of the best bends I have ever heard
This is amazing 🖤🤟🏽
Amazing music.

this is blowing my mind away over and over again
They are a UK band and they are playing 2 nights at The Garage, Islington in March. 1st night sold out but you might be lucky for the 2nd!
seeing them for the first time this weekend, come on!!
Had never heard about them - then (after a show Danava and Lecherous Gaze played in Switzerland) I bought the split-7'' with Danava. "I'll Cut You Down" blew my mind. Now I need more...
thanks tms, love the sabbath-esque riffs of these dudes
Thank you Jim Florentine for plugging this band and getting me into them.
please come play in Toronto
This is what would have happened if The Beatles had done speedballs and hung out with Andy Warhol and Anton LaVey.
Interesting.
Don't worry early beatles did allot of speed, or benzedrine™
Please don't compare this amazing music to the fucking Beatles

This song came out when I was 11 and idk why but I discovered it at 22 😭
It's all up to you now.
Manson/Zombie hybrid. Effing amazing. It's not the speed kids, it's the content...
Sabbath Worship at its Best
This is awesome and the video is amazing
and said, you guys are awesome! Come out on tour with us :)
Bomba!🎉
@frat0r The music is too! Straight from the late '60s. Have a listen at Blue Cheer.
Psychedelic Doom Metal. Whether you like categories or not, that's an interesting one. Fear and Loathing. \m/
Another good band in a kind of similar category is Goatsnake.
What makes you put them in the same category as GoatSnake? 4real... I really like GoatSnake but convince me?...
They're more Stoner Rock / Doom Rock
Devil's witches and saint karloff are way closer to this sounds than goatsnake.
