Simon, King of the Witches (1971); Bloody Orgy of the She Devils (1972); House of the Dark Shadows (1970); Werewolves on Wheels (1971); Doctor Dracula (1978); Blood and Roses (Et Mourir de Plaisir, 1960);
I really like these psychedelic metal bands that have been coming out in the past few years sounding like they are from the 60s. This is what my friend calls "Mad Men Metal"
It's like what the Beatles would have sounded like if they joined a cult and listened to Black Sabbath. These guys continue to impress me with every new song I hear. Cheers for putting up this interesting "music video"!
Rise up from the black smoke, eyes ablaze with fire She's moving, she's moving Oh I've done it again But I'll treat you better this time Slide across the cold floor, hide not from your sins She's bleeding, she's bleeding Oh I've done it again But I'll treat you better this time Smile, I'm your master, vile intent of love Come closer, come closer Oh I'll fuck you again But I'll treat you better this time Won't you come a little, little bit closer Won't you come a little, little bit closer And I'll take you and I'll hold you There'll be no killing this time I'll be your partner in crime Won't you move a little, little bit faster Won't you move a little, little bit faster Won't you come through, I can't see you I think I'll still take your life You'll die by my ritual knife
If yuh please, tune in their own channel , and, wherever yuh are dwelling, yuh'll learn where thee tour gives a show , close to yuhr place . A Must -rave on , for each and every self- respecting ... traveller ! Ritual respects !!!
Vanessa Moylan I like this band but what most don't get is this is sixties music. I know of hundreds of bands that have this groove. Not to pick but they sound like the Scorpions.
reminds me of the window pane, blotter, micro dot & and those candy colored barrels I tried more than a few times after the sugar cubes between 70 & 80...you can go into another dimention and live to tell.
I recognize a few of the movie clips taken from various movie trailers I've seen on here. Blood Orgy of the She-Devils and Simon, King of the Witches. There ya go.
@Krunkenator I fully agree that Ghost is not worth my time, but I kind of dig this album. Most of it is repetitive but there is talent there. If they improve their songwriting on the next album, it could be one to look out for.

I want a list of the movies they have pieced this musicvideo out of. Looks like some awesome 60-70-80's horror flicks galore going on there... LOL! It could easily been better edited thou. Perhaps that "dont care" attitude is part of their act?
Yeah, but I wouldn't say it's a hint of QotSA. That be giving them a wee bit too much credit for a sound that's more from Kyuss (QotSA's daddy) and 90's era stoner metal.

Thanks for the information, the best thing about these bands is the movies they chose
Cool, was trying to find out which movies they used for this video. Awesome video, going to have to try and find these movies. Thanks for the info!
Et Mourir de Plaisir/Blood and Roses (1960)
Oh, very very thanks
thank you

This is psychedelic doom metal, understandable I can't stand black or death metal I'm a huge metalhead but avoid death and black
Absolutely amazing. 2012 has been one of the best years in terms of new Metal releases.

So bummed I missed em in Denver with danava
You need to put more videos on here!
Don't want to compare with Sabbath but this is the most beautiful shit I discoverd since Sabbath.
Every stoner/doom dork deserves to get laid to this music!
AWESOME
Its amazing to think they were on the verge of spliting up after Blood Lust and to see were they are now is amazing
@GOREG4SM yeah i'll be keeping an eye on them too, see how they develop.
METAL BLADE RECORDS is the ONLY OFFICIAL SITE for UNCLE ACID.
@Krunkenator I fully agree that Ghost is not worth my time, but I kind of dig this album. Most of it is repetitive but there is talent there. If they improve their songwriting on the next album, it could be one to look out for.
What’s Ghost?
Me too. MAHAHAHA!!! Mere mortals cannot fathom the otherworldly power.
Damn! Their gonna be playing at Maryland death fest! I wanna go!
This Uncle's no 'deadbeat'!!!!
Great song but I have to say I love the visuals here. Not sure what some of these movies are.

Intro somehow brings to mind the Doctor Who theme, especially the Baker era
This video is bad the fuck ass!!!!!

Пёздацейшая песня однозначно и музло в целом ибашат толковое.
@riggs100 i agree unanomusly

This is but a sound of air that's escaped the gates of Hell..... Ahhhhh it's so refreshing:D \m/

Some Kubrick 3:44 in there..
@inflames2121 Great song, but why the hell would you quote the Allman Brothers on here? lol
That cat at 3:29 looked absolutely shocked and sickened by what he was seeing!
Yeah, but I wouldn't say it's a hint of QotSA. That be giving them a wee bit too much credit for a sound that's more from Kyuss (QotSA's daddy) and 90's era stoner metal.
