Bought the engine x. Love it. Partly bought it because of you. Thanks
Glad you like it 👍👍
Those are not nice welds, lol, great price, decent looking and spec, especially for a half decent folding bike, it's nice to see a company listening to the customer who wont pay stupid inflated prices, great video BBTT.
I thought the welds looked okay 😯👍👍
Love that you show us the contoller .
👍👍
Its me again, which is better bike for hills, engine x or c20 pro, I live in Anglesey, were I live its very hilly,
@@peterwilliams4998 Engine X is better for hills
Perfect, just bought one with your discount
👍👍
me too but its downside is that it has head light but doesn't have rear light
nice bike but the engine x as got to be the best 250w out there great videos keep it up 👍👍👍👍
👍👍
Great video as usual I like your humor. The bike no I think if it was 500wat it would be more benifical. Of course the bike would have to be a bit bigger and in weight as it would take of. I think if I was traveling at that speed I would be bored in a few minutes
I enjoyed riding it and it had a little more pep than most 250 watt ebikes. At least I get to go down hills fast 😄

👍
These are the best value for money at the moment

@@baconbuttties hello, love the videos. Would you be able to recommend a controller that would be compatible with the c20 pro..example I would like to put a 36v/48v/60v controller on this Ebike. So I can put a higher voltage battery in. I’ve seen a video of someone with the same model and they have changed the controller and lcd screen same motor and are getting 68kmh on the speedo
@@user-gz1kw5qo7u 68 kmh is good, what battery are you thinking of using.
@@baconbutttiesI’m going to use a 60v 14ah battery, I have ordered the controller and bits needed. I got in touch with the other person that has the engwe c20 pro modified. They have given me all the links to order the parts however some of the cable connectors need to be changed and I don’t know how to do this, and was hoping if you could make a video with a tutorial of how to change it.
The thing is I really like the design of the engwe c20 pro plus the wheels aren’t big like the other engwe models. I have always wanted a really fast foldable Ebike with semi fat tires not the big 20x4. Here’s the link to the other persons engwe c20 pro. ruclips.net/user/shortsErlBU9pW3vM?si=iVjwzIshvqDSnPHZ
Really helpful and entertaining Review! One question i have - Do you know the real world range for the bike on pedal assist and then throttle only?
I haven't tested the range but it didn't use much battery on my test so it should be pretty good.
I have been considering this one. A little lighter and easier to store than the "Fat bikes".
It does feel a lot lighter and more compact as the tyres are not so thick.
Never like heavy bikes cause I've bad back!!
Which one is your favorite between the C20 pro and the Engine X? I am still deciding which to chose between them 2 as I need a bike that allows me to cover long distance range and a long lasting battery
I prefer the engine X
I got one of these recently, my one has a severe lack of power on pedal assist from level one to level five. Also ghost pedaling on level five is bad, any advice on how to get a bit more out of this bike??? Thanks for all the great vds and info 👍👍
Mine was okay, the only thing I found on mine was the pedal assist sensor was loose on the crank so you could check that first to see if it's moving about.
Would you recommend this bike?
Have you tried it with throttle-only? How is it to ride, and what kind of range do you get?
I would like your opinion, please. Is this suitable or is the engwe 2pro given that it has a power of 750, and I want an explanation about 48v-13Ah and 36v-15.6Ah, and do not forget that the weight of the 2pro is very heavy, so I may not like to take it.
A 48 volt battery will always give more power at the hub. More volts means more Watts.
@@baconbutttiesThis means engwe 2pro will be better? Or do you have another option, because the weight is really heavy for you to hold
@@M9Sport the EP2 Pro is more powerful, the C20 is lighter.
@@baconbuttties I'm trying to convince myself of the C20 Pro, even though I prefer the 2Pro. One last thought please, the weight of the 2pro will need more power so it probably won't be a big difference. What do you think? Thank you for your time.
@@M9Sport Ep2 Pro is a lot more powerful even with the weight.
Going on battery life , torque power and pedal assist what would you choose between ,,, ep2 pro or c20 ...
EP2 Pro
@@baconbutttieshey. Nice videos.
I take it ep2 pro, engine X or this one can only be charged by taking the battery out
@@johnsouthwales1078 no, battery can be charged in the bike or out of the bike 👍
@@baconbuttties really?? Phew. Something had been in the back of my mind for a week but couldn't think what it is, then it clicked. I never seen a video of anyone charging them.
I assumed there is a port so the battery does not have to taken out.
Then I thought if the only way to recharge is by taking it out, how am I going to do it since I keep bike in hallway
✔️☕🍳🥓
Can you please tell me how to turn on the tail light?
Mine isnt working
There is no tail light on mine, just a reflector
@@baconbuttties thanks a lot sir😊
Hi, Can I install a gps tracker in this bike and put it inside where the controller is? And can you tell me how many pins does the connectors have like 4pin or 2pin? Please let know thanks
Not sure on connectors but there should be room for a tracker
@@baconbutttiescan you tell me exactly how much space is there? I am thinking of a portable tracker with built in battery. I need to know how much space is their behind the controller
@@AdnanKhan-ji2bk I haven't got the bike anymore to measure it sorry
You must be Santa Claus, plz sent me this bike as a present Santa🎉
👍
@@baconbutttiesi have a 2022 version but motor has to much noise and when you force your bike with pedaling more than 35km/h motor starts to make really bad sounds again, really annoying. Did you face with this issues on this bike, I am about to purchase this one. Thanks for your reply
@@TannyG no noise at all on my one
You see those 2 bikes there? Mines the one in the middle
Where 👀
my dad just bought one and its comming soon, just how do you unlock the throttle
I think it's hold brake on and throttle fully twisted and turn on bike at the same time. hold brake and throttle for 10 seconds
@@baconbutttiesbut is it disabled or enabled when the bike is assembled?
@@Blinkeu_Y0T disabled I think
@@baconbutttiesbut when you turn that bike on do you just press the power button or you hold it for a while?
@@baconbutttiesand i have one more question, can you take the battery out when the bike is locked?
HOW DO YOU SWITCH TO MOPED MODE AND OTHER MODES?
Do you mean use the throttle?
i think so.@@baconbuttties
@@AsianBlueY0T Hold brake level and twist throttle full, then switch on bike and hold brake and throttle for a further 10 seconds
Cool bike, a couple months ago they sold another varient with a 48v battery and 500w motor but that appears to be missing from the UK website now.
Do you mean another variant of this model?
@@baconbutttiesit looks to have been the old c20. You could get that one in a 48v 16ah and 500w motor and it was slightly cheaper than the pro upgrade that has seemingly replaced it.
@@baconbuttties Yes that's the US version I bought for my ol lady. Can I do the same bmx handlebar switch in this C20 that you did on your other Engwe?
@@IQWhiteBear I think you can as it has the same front part of the frame
this bike is faulty... it doesn't have a frame to securely attach your bike to.
What do you mean?
The main part of the frame that folds can be used. Even though it folds it still doesn't give you the ability to remove the lock
@@shaun-juniorbishop2314 remove lock?
@@baconbuttties I think the person means it doesn't look it there's anywhere go lock the bike up to something
@@shaun-juniorbishop2314 I need more information as the comment hasn't got enough detail.
The amp hours is 15.6AH which you times by 36V = 561.6W peak. This is how they get around the UK law on 250W motors ;)
AH means more run time. You have to know battery capability, BMS output and controller maximum amps to get the theoretical peak.
I want to know the differences and advantages and the equation of these numbers: 48v-13Ah and 36v-15.6Ah. Is it possible?
This or engine X?
My choice would be Engine X but the C20 is lighter and slightly smaller if you want a more compact ebike.
@@baconbuttties thanks you buddy. 👍🏻
