Really enjoying your reviews!
@@OneAndOnlyMe Thanks 👍
thanks for this review , i need that bike !!!! easy hills , very good , awesome
👍👍
Jasus you flew up that hill, that's one slick bike, I'm still on the engine pro about a year and lovin it.
I'd prob get pulled over if had faster, saying that, some of those stand-on scooters do over 40mph.
@@EMarSounds it does go up hills easy . The engine pro is a great bike 👍
If it's got a brake light and you could get fluid level indicators on your brakes and you put road tyres on, you could get it road registered if you wanted
It has got fluid level glass on the brakes and a brake light. I Was thinking the same thing.
@@baconbuttties I've been looking to go left for a bit, I saw you can get rated tyres to fit the rims. It's £100 for a test at Avonmouth then your laughing
@baconbuttties take my money now I'm just waiting to get paid next week then I will be buying 1 that's for sure & yes I will use your discount code because I'm a tight ass 😆 🤣 😂 😅
Pretty good for that price probably get it to introduce myself to the ebike world
@@JoeyBlazey83 👍👍
nice bike dude 👍
👍👍
Super illegal in the UK but super fun, I think you'd be pulled over in a instant in the city 🤣
Police did actually come past me and didn't even give me a second look.
City of London police will
Depends in how your ride it in the city if you put it in pas 1 or 2 single motor use the throttle to get you going then peddle at the same time & your doing more than 15.5mph when peddling the police can't do anything about it because a normal cyclist can peddle more than 15.5mph anyway I know it is a grey area but trust me I have had a bike similar to this in & around London all I did was single motor mode used the throttle up to the cut off point of the speed & was peddling at the same time I never had a problem with any of the police in or around London I had more trouble with the police in my local area where I lived rather than in Central London or anywhere in London 😊
@@baconbuttties Yep completely and totally without a doubt great fun but illegal in the UK any country within the UK including Wales.
It's sad but true, even just having that throttle in the UK makes it illegal because it goes over 4 mph on the throttle.
You get points on your license and a hefty fine plus the bike may be confiscated.
UK laws are so out of touch with what the people want with regards to PEVs.
However a bike made before the ban on the throttles which date back around 15 years ago when we were using British law the throttle would have been ok, but since going over to EU law the throttle became illegal unless with the new law it is registered for disabled.
Bad laws bad ideas and not what we all want.
@@1chickenpig This is true but most people don't own fields or off road tracks.
It is sad that they are illegal.
Not sure you would find anyone to insure it.
I have an escooter that is registered I have a number plate for it and everything, I used to get it insured then for no reason at all o could no longer insurance, now of course all escooters have to ride illegally.
The govt just the other day had the opportunity to upgrade ebikes to 500 watts with a throttle but failed.
There is something seriously wrong when the people are calling for the changes and govt simply refuse to give the people what they want.
Instead they give people fines and points.
That bike is nice though, but if you were riding on the public road I would suggest you remove all evidence of you on the public road for your own sake, people have been prosecuted with the police using peoples youtube videos of themselves doing what is classed ad illegal things su h as riding unregistered motorcycles on public roads, you might be OK or they may contact you it has happened in the past to youtubers
I'm just warning you as this happened to people.
Looks fantastic. Seems to be a real jump up compared to the engwe m20 - 90nm torque and only 60kg is impressive. What's your thoughts on the turning radius with the front hub motor? I've heard it can make steering heavy and more challenging? great review. Tempted- haha :)
I didn't find the steering to be heavy at all, which was surprising. Turning radius seems fine and It actually handles quite well considering it's heavier than most ebikes.
Sounds like the front brake rotor might've got bent in transport, if you have a realignment tool should be able to adjust it straight again!
@@Utuber580 Rotor wasn't bent, I did inspect it. 👍
the brakes are set up as bicycle brakes which this still is despite having 2 motors because it has pedals
They stop the bike well though.
Thanks for the video!
It was a good one.
I am interested in getting this. Only thing holding me back is it looks like a proper bike.
I searched the site of anything with a normal bicycle style seat.
Do you recommend anything in those areas with a similar 52v dual motor setup?
@@SteveCutajar3lrsc This is the only dual motor ebike I have tried so I can't recommend anything else. 👍
No wonder Super73 are having a sale when you can get all that bike has for £1500,
Bonkers 😮
It is a fantastic price.
Reading comments in another review and a few complained of going off road or hitting potholes and front forks breaking and getting injured.
So maybe consider upgrading the front forks. I think its RST brand that suit ebikes but please DYODD.
Looks like good value though for nice flat areas.
@@1chickenpig that's most likely people taking the bike beyond its limits. It's never going to be an MTB bike.
@@baconbutttiesyes agreed. Most of the youngster's won't think twice about smashing it through rough terrain with the old bullet proof feeling we used to have haha
@@1chickenpig 👍👍
these bikes are not made for offroad
u speed up and hit a pothole or such, your not gonna have fun and could die
@@RobertJohanssonRBImGuy you definitely can go off-road as long as you stay within the limitations of the bike.
You want to pull harder on rear brake and press it 1 sec before the front brake!
Rear wheel is locking up so pressing harder wouldn't really make any difference
Does the non adjustable seat height cause orobs when pedalling?
@@loki1066 it's not good for pedaling
This looks like the Engwe M20 ? Or a more powerful version . Shame it's not road legal or I'd have one in a minute. That would get stolen in my city if left outside .
Yeah it's more powerful than an M20 but similar design
it looks really nice, do you know if it can be used when it's raining?
@@daniellox1 Im sure it can be ridden in the rain but ask Ridstar to be sure.
Any chance you could do a range test.
@@gaza66 It would be a looooooooong ride
Did you say one battery per motor?? My Q20 Pro does not need both batteries on for both motors!!
I cannot do the front motor unless I turn on both batteries and it even states that in the user manual 👍
You probably won't read this , I watch all your videos , helped me buy the Engwe x which I love. You give great information. Have you ever thought that when going through the tunnel. You could shout yahoo for the echo ..
Anyway I like this bike a lot do you know if you the bike in there basket and subscribe they will send you a discount code for 10% weight a couple more days today I'm offered a code for 12%
Do you still use this bike what do you think...are you selling it .
@@muddymarvellous I read all comments 👍 Engwe X is a great bike.
Thats quicker than some 50cc mopeds.
😅
👍👍
Hey I have a question could it possibly hold 2 people in that one seat I've been thinking of getting one but I also gotta get My friend around
It probably would seat 2 people
@@baconbuttties Thank you very much!
@@9Latus 👍
Would be curious to know what range it will do with those 2 whopping 20ah batteries
It's probably pretty far..
I can ride back with half battery or more after 20 miles. Up some pretty steep hills too.
@@carpelunam 👍👍
Where can you buy this in the UK?
The uk link is in the description 👍
How many mile per charge
Website says 80 miles on throttle. I haven't been that far to confirm.
I would of thought miles per charge is gonna be around 40miles because the 2x1000watt motors will drain the batteries at a fair rate unless you can run both batteries together in parallel then you might get better miles per charge or better range
Why didn't they make it a tandem?
?
That's a lot of bike for £1500.
You do get a lot for your money 👍
If you use the discount provided in the video description it is 1349.10 delivered to your door delivery takes around 3 to 5 working days it says on the website so an absolute bargain fir a bike if this quality if you look elsewhere at dual motor dual battery ebikes that are similar to this the price tag is almost double if not triple what this ebike costs you from another manufacturer ie ariel rider who make the grizzly that bike is similar dual motor dual battery & that is gonna set you back around £3500 then you git shipping import fees customs duty etc so by the time you factor this all in the price of a grizzly it is probably gonna be £4000 or more to get 1 into the uk so this bike at this price is an absolute steal I'm ordering 1 tomorrow morning I can't wait to get the bike in my hands & get out to take my 1st ride on it 😊❤
e-moped with pedals

Who is this bike aimed at ?
It's aimed at people who want to buy it . I can think of a lot of people who would want it.
@@baconbuttties
Fair enough.
I think I’m going to go for the Obsidian.
@@Electriclentilman is that the Mokwheel Obsidian.
At non commuters... Highly illegal for road use.
There is a 10% discount code PM me for details...Mind you the website for these is a nightmare...
I already have a 10% discount code, you probably cannot use both
Mint bike,holy moly 😂
😁👍
Looks like possibly KM and NOT MPH.. Thats slow for US standards. Can we confirm the correct speed?? Because that's not the US and he said nothing about it.
It's definitely MPH.....I'm in the UK and we use MPH
@@baconbuttties Thanks man. I wasn't sure. I appreciate your response. 👍🏽
@@bornwitpeace9542 👍👍
mine tops out at exactly 37 mph
@@carpelunam 👍👍
Hi mate is your plan to keep this
No not keeping it.
@@baconbuttties it's ok I was going to send you a free set of used brake pads very hard to get expensive to buy
@@revparsons3tl 👍👍
Is that uk legal buddy?
If you turn the motors of and pedal it then it would be, or if you rode it on private land. The power is more than the UK legal limit
@@baconbuttties 🫡
Imagine you unlock it. Probably does 50
I think it is unlocked
TVP clamping down on illegal bikes, its 6 points on your car licence if you get convicted. They are illegal anywhere unless it's private land that you own or have permission to use it on. That does not include parks or woods, so it's a bit pointless if you can only be legal in your back garden.
@@jeffwitt8556 its not pointless at all as You could get it registered as a moped
@baconbuttties Just buy a moped. There are too many grifters on youtube selling these bikes
@@jeffwitt8556 negative comments like this do not help the hard work I put into this channel
issue is all these bikes are the same.
you add a second battery and get range
2000w engine adds the extra but then reaching speeds that makes driving them in a city an issue.
if the UK would want people to make these legal they need to adress a speed limit.
Not the power.
Your car can drive faster than max speed limit.
no one stops you driving such a car.
so, speed not power engine needs to be the thing.
good thing I live in the free world baby! 🦅 🇺🇲
How steep is it in % then? Should be possible to find on Osmand, cycle.travel or anywhere else. Stock BBSHD can only go 15mph on 15% incline with 130kg system weight.
With 2 motors its more torque than a bafang unless you have a really large rear cog
@BACONBUTTIES The only 3 things im going to change when my bike arrives later this week is the position of the brakes just swap them round if there is enough cable length to do so because thats what im use to & i will also look into seeing if you could put bmx style handle bars on this bike as i think it would look better with them as i am not a fan of the handle bars it comes with im also gonna change the grips because i find the grips with the palm rest super uncomfortable for myself so im gonna replace them with some pro taper pillow grips which i use on all my bikes & have done for years now i just find them way more comfortable than the standard grips they come with i may also see if i can get a full twist throttle replacement because im not the biggest fan of the half twist throttle plus with a full twist throttle you might be able to stop it spinning the front tyre because you will have more control of the power delivery to both wheels but that is my take on what im gonna do to mine when it arrives later this week i ordered 1 this morning & yes i did use your discount code because i am a tight ass english man that likes to save money where ever he can 😂😅😊❤
@@michaelross749 you might have trouble with the cables etc reaching if you use BMX style bars, they would have to be low profile ones
@@baconbuttties I will look into it to see if I can possibly get some if I can find any that fit it I will email you & send you the link of where to buy them from if at all I can find some
