* NOTICE**
Front battery is not working on the Q20 Pro?
The Front battery powers the front hub only, rear battery powers the rear hub and the electronics to power unit on. So if you just use rear hub until battery is showing empty, you can swap batteries or use just select front hub to double your range.
Today in Cheezy's garage we build and test out the Ridstar Q20 Pro 40ah Dual battery dual 1000w drive (2000w) ebike. I was VERY impressed buy the power and speed, it's the fastest modt powerful bike I have tested yet! It comes with mirrors! Hydraulic brakes, front and rear suspension, a saddle seat, turn signals, large light, horn, inverted forks and more.
This is definitly the way the Ebikes should be going.
How fast is the Q20 Pro? Unlocked I got a top speed of 37mph, and I GPS confirmed the speedometer, it is accurate.
This is my favorite budget E-Bike so far! Best budget e-Bike I've tested. Selectable front and rear or front OR rear hub is a great feature and with all the accessories it comes with stock you can not beat the price!

Exactly the video I was looking for. I think that does it. This is gonna be my starter bike
I cannot wait to experience this bike for myself thanks for sharing
It's definitely a blast. And it cuts off at 37 like you can almost open it up I bet this bike would do over 40 if you can figure out how to stop that 37 mi per hour speed limiter
@@MotoCheez That’s what I love to hear I very much look forward to spending allot of time on this bike lol
Hell yes! I gotta get one! Thanks for sharing
Where are you getting yours from?
Links in description
Should of gotten this one I guess. Most moped ebikes pedal good in PAS 2. The seat is way more comfortable than my fat tire folders Ike seat. Ride safe!
Love the videos definitely got to try it out
Yes! It's impressive
Should do a giveaway for this for 50 k subscribers man. Love it.
Yeah I was thinking about doing a giveaway on any bike when I get close to 50K for sure
Im wanna try this bike out. Its one of the cheaper ones that look good. And from the reviewes it looks awesome and looks like it performs good too
That thing is AWESOME. I wish I could afford one.
Work extra hours and save up. Be disciplined. Im ordering one this Sunday
@@denzelmotuba5336 lol yeah I wish I could do that. I’m disabled. Thanks for the advice!
This is what I've been looking for! the dual motor version! front AND rear blinkers? thats pretty rare on an ebike. This is on my list with the Yeasion bike that also has 2 motors. also the manual is a Yolin...i learned thats another brand that looks almost the same? do you think you could fit 2 ppl on it if you really had to? and any holes to put a rack on it?
About the same as my Keteles 26" dual 1000 watt drive eBike, Cetp this one has smaller tires making it a little more perky... Mine does not go as fast.. (almost) but rides farther I think, and I got it through you, and still love it.. even if it didn't come with rear view mirrors... Would like the smaller one for riding in the woods..
It's definitely quicker and faster than the Keteles. Keteles is 2nd fastest bike
Almost as nice as the Fabulous Furious dual motor 60v bike I saw reviewed earlier. Very cool.
I didn't see that one how fast was it? I'll have to go check it out
I was looking at the bike that CitizenCycle has today . Those are over $1,000 more than your review bike. Nice but not much more power .
@kevinnashskitchen3517 hard to beat the value in this bike
So excited to get mine wife and I ordered us two of these bad boys
💯💯💯
Wife won’t allow me to get a motorcycle but this will definitely give me the itch lol
@mikeanardi9414 definitely!
My Rad City 5 top speed is 20mph. Cycling to work and saw a Ridstar whiz by me!!
They're FAST!
Not sure you have 2 of those batteries working if you can't get like 40 miles ..Not 2000 amp hours if not 40 miles. The Grizzly only has 35 ah with the same motors and heavier but gets 40 miles on full throttle only.. Leads me to think most 40ah set ups should get 40 miles at least. Maybe your weight and hills really sucked down the juice?😅
They're both definitely working, did you see all the hills I went up? There's nothing but hills around me and some big ones
I would really think of this bike as a main contender because if you don't have a long hilly ride in mind it's fast and probably can get 70 miles to 80 miles at 35 mph or so on flat ground. cheap price for what you get.
@@MotoCheez That has to be a bummer for E bike manufacturer's.. That bike should normally get 40 miles range at 35 mph
You need that new Aniioki A8 dual motor bike with a 60 ah battery 😂😂
@kevinnashskitchen3517 agreed. Great for the price!
That river looks like a great place to fish Moto... That is a nice ebike too... Nice raging rapids...
Good to fish, but can't eat, mercury
@@MotoCheez that's a shame... So basically it's just a practice river... For those who make their own lures
@vharrald basically. I think you might be able to eat one or two fish, GE had a factory up in Massachusetts which is where this starts I guess they dumped a bunch of stuff in the water
@@MotoCheez aren't they trying to clean up their disaster?
@vharrald I guess they tried but they don't want to disturb the dirt which is on the dirt and it happened so long ago
Cheers Dude!! One owner to another... I hope you have a source for brake pads cause Ridstar will hold you hostage for $80 a pair or an ebay auction!
Wow, that is pricey! Good call I will start looking to see some other resources. Did you find something on eBay?
@@MotoCheez youtube search ridstar brake pads. Ridstar is not playing fair at all. Cant find an alternate pad, the only other option so far is to change the brakes to some that use an accessable pad at a reasonable cost.
@TheBasementGardener oh, damn
The only thing you’re missing is the front and rear racks for the frequent trips to HarborFreight
Yes! Although harbor freight at my place in Connecticut is about 20 mi 😡
Could you make more videos on it!
I will soon
Just did some video with it today, should be up in the next few days
Do you have a purchase link for the ridstar q20 pro on amazon?
amzn.to/3UU1WNg
My discount won't work on Amazon.
Could you simply use the one motor for this and then change to the other battery to double the range?
Yes!
You've got quite a collection of e-bikes, where do you find room?
I've given a lot of them away traded for items and sold some, so I don't really have that many maybe 8
Is this a cadence sensor pedal assist or torque? I want to remove the throttle as these are illegal in Ireland
Cadence
Im surprised you havent picked up one of those cargo bikes, that has the extended back end where you can carry like 100-200 lbs of cargo.
I may be getting one of them shortly
Hey quick question. Those batteries look the same as my New Jansno X50 v2 batteries. Could you do me a favor and see if they will mount on the bottom of your X70. Maybe take the top battery off, and try to mount it where the 14amp is and see if it will power up? If so and it can run, that would be a plug and play solution by just buying a Ridstar 20amp 52v battery and plugging it in to your Jansno without having to change the battery plate. Also on a side note. The brakes on this bike are proprietary so you can't get the pads anywhere but Ridstar, might be an idea to order a few sets in case they go out of business and you would have to swap out the brakes. That was one of the reasons I didn't buy a Ridstar and went with the Jansno instead. One guy had a hell of time getting those pads.
The do look identical, unfortunately the other bike was at my FL location and I don't have it anymore
I honestly recommend saving $500 and just getting the rear motor 20 ah model. It’s got the same top speed. Unless you’re using this thing for long distance or steep hills and need the mileage or torque, it’s not necessary
I agree if you're only going to be using this on road only, but if you want a fat tire bike to go off-road the dual drive, there's nothing like it. They work awesome in the sand too
Was the test at 4:00 with dual motors activated or just single?
Dual, you can hear the front tire spinning when I take off
I received ridstar Q20 pro today and fitted them. There's an issue with this bike The front wheel is not working and I fitted the battery on the front mounting plate bike is not turning on . Both batteries work on the back mounting plate. When I turn on the bike only the rear wheel is working. Do you have any idea about this?
I contact the manufacturer, it must be word connects to the control or possibly or maybe a fuse which is on the wire near the controller typically
I took the bike out today for 50 mi ride and I did notice the front battery did not get used at all, if I try to start the bike and turn it on with just a front battery on and the rear battery off it will not power up. So I may be having the same problem you are, just contacted them to see what the solution is
You have the left upper switch that almost looks like a headlight switch on that's for the front hub and underneath that to write a little bit to push button is for the rear hub You can turn them on and off individually
ridstarのH20PROとQ20PROで迷ってますが、こちらはオートバイ型で座席がシートなので、漕ぐ事(アシストモード)は苦手でしょうか?
It is tough pedaling not being able to raise seat, but you can slide toward back of seat and it's not bad
I have the ridstar q20 and the q20 pro. My q20 pro maxes out at 37mph even down steep hills. Is their a setting you changed to keep it from limiting its speed past 37? I already changed the 100kmh setting and no change.
I can't figure how to unlock that without changing wheel diameter setting.....
@@MotoCheez did you adjust the "controller current limit" setting (pc)? Mine is set to 30 stock. Was wondering if yours was maybe set to 40.
I left it at 30, thought about turning it up tho. Did you?
@MotoCheez no, im super tempted too, but I dont wanna fry my controller lol. Ive heard the controllers have built in limiters that will keep them in a save range if you raise it but i still haven't tried. I have a feeling the q20 pro could go faster with some more tweaks. Thanks for your great videos! I bought both q20's because of your videos and love them both!
@DoubleDownDBo definitely could!
How are those stock tires on the dirt roads?
They are good for dirt or pavement
Considering how quick you got to max speed and just locked into that 37mph(60KPH), it feels like the kind of behavior you'd usually see from a bike with a speed limiter in software. I wonder if there is a way to unlock it to go even further.
That's what I was saying, this bike is capable of at least 5mph more. Wish I knew how besides changing tire diameter, then the Speedo if off
Good afternoon
Good afternoon! 1st comment
Just what i am looking for just with bigger tires
I actually like the 23-in tires better than the bigger bike tires, more manageable especially off-road
@@MotoCheez Good to know, thanks
Meaning, lower seat height
@@MotoCheez I am 6 feet tall would i fit
@dankfarmtron3066 I think so, I'm 5'10 with a 32-in inseam and it does not feel small to me
Off road tires would be sweet
Your link is dead, where is the cheapest place I can order one?
Link works fine for me
should i buy this or the jansno x50
This! Comes w more accessories, more power and speed!
Getting the Amyet S8 instead!
Let me know how that is
Lol the drone almost wrecked into rhe tree
It actually did! A few times
Watching this video,I said Wow,your trees haven't greened up,I live in Southern middle Tennessee ,we had an early spring, here, trees started blooming early march,March, mowing grass the last week in February which is abnormally early.
Yeah. Kinda late this year
one question that I'm hoping someone could answer for me, so this is the bike im interested in. im exactly 6 feet tall. do you think it will work for me?
I'm 5'10, 32" inseam.. I think you'd fit fine
@@MotoCheez thanks for the quick response, appreciate it. but one more thing, i noticed on ridstar's website that the tires look different then the ones in your video, instead of the cst tires it looks like they have upgraded to kenda road tires, do you think that is acsually what they are selling it with now, or is it just marketing to make people think it is gonna come with those tires?
@isaiahlea856 I'm not sure, if it's in the website it should be what they're selling now. Going in a ride today
Is 0-35s in 8 sec the speed with one motor or two?
2, I did the test with both hubs on
can i actually touch the ground with my feet at 5'4 with these? or is it too tall for my height
I think you could. I have 32" inseam and can flatfoot and bend my legs
@@MotoCheez oh thats bad for me, i have a 27 inseam at best. it might be possible. This would suck if i cannot fit this bike. THe other options are much pricier
@musicah8496 I can measure height of seat to the ground tomorrow
@@MotoCheez thank you 🙏
Seat height listed as 36".. that is kind of tall for people under 5'8"
I'll measure tomorrow, I think is lower, like 32" or less. This bike or the one you're talking about?
@@MotoCheez ridestar website . Says 36". Thanks!
@@MotoCheez That's like DRZ 400 territory 😂
Does it have pedal assist mode?
Yes
Bro I like that are you selling them
No. I have the link to the companies in my description though. I just test them
Is it real 180 mi range?
Not in my terrain. Flat ground using pedal assist maybe
I think that bike would beat my CRF 300L Rally in a drag race.
😅🤣 it's got some TORQUE!
can you tell me what
your height ?
5'10 230lbs
@@MotoCheez sorry, but why 23 inch tires ? i think they are 20 inch!
@bgwakeup You are right!!!
Perfect for uber eats gig
It's faster so you know what that really means time to send into orbit 😅😂😂
🤣😅👍👍
It looks like you could pedal that bike fairly fast if you had to by the looks of that front sprocket.
About 30 I would say if you really pedal fast
I want to buy this ebike. Is this website trustworthy?
Yes, I haven't heard any negatives about them.
Definitely let me know if you have a bad experience.
@@MotoCheezthanks
No I was asking for your suggestion that's why.
I understood that, I was just saying if you buy from there and you have bad experience definitely post on here
Can you use 1 battery and still use both motors? Like if you wanted to go to the gas station, which is a 3-miles round trip, and just to make it lighter? Or put the 1 battery in a backpack after you locked it up. Instead of having to carry 2 batteries in your backpack 🎒. Hopefully, not having batteries on the bike might help it from getting stolen!! #Yolo
Yes!
Hmmmm with 40 amp hours in total battery even with hills it could only get twenty six miles?? Something seems off
That's about all I get around here with all the hills. And going that speed really sucks the battery down. If I did a consistent 20 miles an hour I'd be able to get two miles per amp hour so like 80 mi like down in myFlorida location
@@MotoCheez bike looks solid though, thinking about purchasing it to add it to the collection.
What's your weight?
235lbs. Come to find out this ride may have been just on one battery, did a ride today and noticed the front battery was not being used at all did 50 miles
@@MotoCheez I weigh 133, so the mileage even with more climbs could go over that.
Definitely! I took a side trail off of the rail trail that we rode today that was really steep up power lines I didn't think it was going to make it and it shock the hell out of me I could have even gone steeper. One of those hills that you're more nervous going down than up!
Is it possible to somehow unlock this bike so that it can travel more than 60 km
Only settings I know are in video
@@MotoCheez aha, I wonder if I can replace a modem or something to make it run longer 🤔
@monstermusicc longer range? Only way you can do that is larger batter, or another battery
@@MotoCheez aaa, can you buy some other, more powerful batteries for this bike somewhere?
40AH of batteries could do 80 miles or more if you ride around in PAS2, or single hub mode most the time
Pedal assist, speed, hills, single or dual hub etc effect how long the battery will last. it depends on your area and rislding habits.
My videos I drive faster and have a lot of hills, so the mileage I get is basically the minimum.
lol i’m not sure what the incentive would be to buy one of these things if you could buy eight surons for the price of one of these.
I left that in there and you are only the second person had noticed. 😂🤣😅
Cheezey, you said that in dyslexic mode Aye? I know nothing about these eBikes, but that Suron is pretty spendy
@christopherbishop4927 I did! 😁. Yes they are
Lol these cost $1350, Surron starts at $3500
@adamsal1041 I know. The next step down is $2699 for a Freego. I love my moped style ebike. It has a metal frame, about 85 pounds, ha ha. Kenda Krusades are good tires.
Fiero video sometime?
Yes I got a couple videos I have to throw together over the last week and a half
My two cents is pls don’t store that in your house I’ve seen so many videos of them Chinese battery bike bursting into flames. Not saying it will but dam when they go up there’s so much toxic smoke
i bet you could get 40 miles out of it on flat ground with that thing.
Absolutely!
"Very tired" beep.
Meep, why
Had to get a new medical certificate for my CDL and I usually am not up till 2pm because i work graveyard shift but today i got up at 9 am with 3 hours of sleep even though i tried to get 8 😂 @MotoCheez
@Jim_woods thanks, did you pass the physical
@@MotoCheez yes I did, blood pressure was a bit high but was ok.
? umm? 8 surons for ? 🤨😏
By eight of these for one suron, yeah a bit confusing
Millipede = NOPE! Second only to CLOWNS....
Don't like them? I've seen them here 6" long and big around as pinky!
Can someone buy me one I'm from Jamaica and I have to walk four miles to work i love it but can't afford it can someone send one for me I be so grateful bless
No gloves, novice rider at best!
😂😆 gloves
