The one on the left is the QD LED backlight, and the color gamut is 50% larger than the one on the right。If you can play HDR video correctly on both monitors, you'll get something like this
No they did this because people like you exist. No idea of what you are talking about and will happily pay extra for as long as it ticks an artificial checkbox. HDR400 is fake and ruins the image. Anything less than HDR1000 is not hdr
At that time, I was not proficient enough in HDR photography and the results were not very accurate. In fact, the gap should have been larger. However, early MiniLED Monitor did have many issues, especially with color.😅
@@NedimTabakovic You can't just make the image vivid, it ruins the colour gradient in which you lose detail, it's literally what the video shows, in other words if you add more colour or saturation you lose detail on the HDR 400 because it's not bright enough.
@@NedimTabakovic Well if you're watching it in HDR then there is clearly a difference, most people are watching in SDR and the HDR1000 bring out detail you can't see with in the HDR400 version, plus is looks dull

it looks to me the 400 looks more natural and the 1000 is vibrant over contrasted colours. is that why alienware went with HDR400?
