조수미는 매일 카메라 앞에 서는 모델이나 배우가 아니라 공연하는 오페라 가수입니다... 무대에 서는 사람들은 멀리 앉아있는 사람들도 잘 구경하시라고 일부러 화장도 진하게 하고 옷도 반짝이는 걸로 입는 거랍니다...

I have just seen her live in London and she simply filled the entire hall with her voice and personality. It all looked so effortless. How long must one practice to perform like that?

her breath is limitless! she can hold high notes for like.....10 seconds or something! (now that i think about it Dessay held a trill once for almost 15 seconds in 1994......)
