I have followed and loved weller since 77 his songs have made me laugh reminisce and cry. For most of my life , a true legend a hero of mine till I depart this earth , this album is indeed perfection a collection of songs so beautiful and heartfelt they engage my emotion more than anything and more so every time I hear them , I’m.moving on refelects every emotion I have right now and that’s what weller has always done for me , I will. Probably never meet him or tell him but he’s more of a friend than I have ever had , this song this album reminds me of the simplest th8ngs that give us happiness , I listen to it relentlessly at work and it reminds me of my brother taken from me to cancer 5 years ago And my best friend murdered this year , thanks Paul thanks for keeping me going and making me feel there might be a reason why I do xx
chris. larkins I had the pleasure of accidentally meeting Paul in London in a cafe whilst Christmas shopping with my daughter. After politely asking him for a photo he let my daughter and me sit and talk to him over a coffee. I told him my eldest brother had died of cancer and said how listening to the music my brother loved helped with the grief. I also told Paul that I really admired his changing styles of music and loved listening to his records. After a while we said our goodbyes and then as he left the cafe after going inside to pay his bill he told me that he had paid for our coffees as well! I was so amazed at his kindness towards us. I also love this new album and saw him at The Royal Festival Hall and of course he was superb! This is such a beautiful song! X
Georgie thanks for the reply , sorry to hear about your brother as well mate , I have seen him over fifty times from the jam through the style council years to his solo days , his songs tell my life story , I know it’s all interpretation but he is has and always will be the one constant in my life , As I reply to you listening to I’m moving on a perfect song Nice to read a bit of your story mate much appreciated , I live in Surrey very close to where Paul was born , a stones throw away from Friday street

Gosh, you have been through horrible tragedies Chris. 'Moving On' is a fab track and so is 'Aspects'. I am very moved by your post. Paul Weller reflects my emotions too, I have been a huge fan for years, but only seen him in concert once. That was a magical night. I shan't explain the tragedies I have been through. It also is deeply painful to share here. But, Paul Weller certainly hits the nail every time for me. Keep strong mate, 'live life'.

As usual Paul Weller's lyrics perceptively represent where I'm and likely others are at,:" I'm moving on. ..got love all around./got the key to my ❤ ...don't need nothing else!" Loved this man and his music for as long as I can remember; for showing the navigation of the various stages of life itself. ❤ He is just so present or should I representative (?); none of the stifling has been nostalgia for him. The perfect summer was about seeing Paul Weller play in cork,Barcelona or Kew, plus a couple of trips to Croatia.
