Brings back memories. When I worked on a research station In Lanarkshire my main tractor for plot work was a Ford 3910 reg number D402 PJN. We got our tractors under the College Hire Scheme directly from the Basildon factory, hence the Essex registration. The tractors we got were very variable, some were ok, some were utter dogs. My one was a good one but it's predecessor was a whole pile of trouble. We had a fe 5610's which were grossly underpowered, and a 7810 which was brilliant.
Good video and very nice tractor my dad bought a new 3910 4wd with no cab and underswept exhaust in 1986 for £8000 we used it to buckrake in our silage into a closed clamp and also to power a Keenan 100 mixer wagon great wee tractor 👍
Great video. I used to drive a 3910H, gang mowing for Hampshire county council. My friend has a 3910 which he uses in ploughing matches. I have posted a video of it on YT when ploughing many years ago.
