    The reason a lot of us don't understand how ANY of these formulas work is because EVERY teacher wants us to just remember the formula without relating it to anything else. Remembering what to do when presented with all that quadratic good stuff would be soooo much easier if we could put a picture of the thing that we're working on in our minds. Like A= L x W, when you see the shape and you physically see how multiplying it kinda fills in the area of it, it makes it much easier to see the reason

    Also, when c=0, the discriminant is always just b squared
    simple shortcuts and connections make memorizing wayyyy easier to those of us that are new to maths

    Thank you so much. My 8th Grade teacher only showed up to teach us half of the classes and she couldn’t explain stuff to save her life. She got fired, and I’ve been so unbelievably far behind in math thanks to her. If it wasn’t for Mr. McLogan I would have been screwed. Thank you so much

    I have a test tomorrow on all the quadratic methods and i was trying to do the review sheet the teacher gave us
    i was almost completely lost (cause my teacher doesn’t teach well) so i searched your videos and

    You are the best! The patience you have when explaining/teaching is amazing. My teacher prefers using the LCD way whenever possible, and so when I asked her to show the problem this way she literally gave me a face and zoomed through.. no explaining -_- So Thank You!

    This guy in my opinion always does things the hard way. Most the time he pushes the completing the square when the quadratic formula is a much easier way. In this example it is a simple factoring method could be used. X(3x-2) =0 X=0, X =2/3

    Haha there was a negative boy who didn't know if he wanted to go to a party. The boy was a square and he missed out on 4 awesome chick's. The whole party was over at 2a.m. credit to Yay math! That's how I remember the formula....

    To solve this: 3 Xsquared -2X = 0. Divide the whole shebang by X, you now have 3X - 2 =0.
    Which means that 3X =+2. Divide +2 by 3 and you're home and hosed: Two thirds or 0.666666etc.
    Original equation: square 0.6666666 (value of X) you get 0.444444444. Multiply by the 3 = 1.33333333. Now subtract the 2X, which amounts to 1.333333333. There's your zero.

      Nat Bardaweel it’s 4-4(3)(0) = 4 you left out the times 0 which is why you got it wrong
