Awesome video, I loved these when I was getting back into comics and found your channel. Helped me learn where to start, and how to get into a character. Spider-Man is a journey for sure, so many places to jump in but I jumped in right at the beginning one of the first Omni's I got.
It's great to see so many classic Spider-man tales in crisp omnibus format, makes me wanna hoard 'em all! Though I wish I could somehow bypass the international shipping costs... Hopefully one day you'll get a sponsor that's all about your European fans too! Great video as always!

I grew up with 90's SM, but have discovered that nowadays, I prefer silver and bronze age more so than the 90's stories.

Great list, Gem. If I had to pick a favorite Spider-Man Omnibus it is the JMS Volume one omnibus. My experience reading Spider-man was with the Ultimate Universe but my 616 experience with Spidey was JMS' run which outside OMD and Sin's past(thankfully this has been retconned) still remains my favorite run of the web-slinger. Especially John Romita Jr.'s art which I know some folks have an issue with but I love his art. An honorary mention for me is Kurt Busiek's Untold Tales of Spider-man omnibus. Very solid Omnibus that helped me appreciate the silver age stuff of Spider-Man a whole lot more and is good on its own.
Love this list. My top 10 would be in a different order as your number 1 choice took me by surprise.
It be great to get more of these for other characters but how many others have 10 omni’s releawd. I think you can do a too 10 for X-mem, Batman (maybe bat family) and justice league. Avengers, FF and superman might be a little tough to do as I don’t know if they have 10 omnis out yet (golden age supes doesn’t count). You could do a top ten vertigo omnibus/absolutes. There should be enough for a good list there
Ultimate Spidey was pretty good, although the stories did drag. Love the Romita and Ditko eras. Sp many great stories. Great video!
I'm happy the Miles run is getting a reprint next year. I missed out on the second volume and the binding for the first was terrible. Awesome list btw

I knew I wasn't the only one that loves the clone saga! I think I'm in the same boat with it as you. it's pretty nostalgic for me and I always thought the Scarlet Spider costume is dope! I started my re-read a little over a week ago and I'm almost done Ben Reilly vol 1. Can't put it down
5:13 Larsen was not a follow up to Bagley, it was clearly the other way around. Larsen left with ASM #350 to follow up McFarlane (once again) on Spider-Man (1991) (why preceding that every time with "adjectiveless", Near Mint Condition is doing that also)..

Planet of the Symbiotes was to me what Maximum Carnage was to you. Introduced me to Venom, Carnage, Scarlet Spider and was a cool story that stuck with me since it was released in 95. Doubt there will be a collection of that one though lol

USM Omnibus is probably my favourite, that was the first one I ever read and it introduced me to comics
OG Ultimate Spiderman was the first American comic I ever read, so it holds a special place in my heart

The Clone Saga isn't too bad so far. I've since read the first three Complete Collections, and like many others have stated, it starts out pretty well. If only they'd quit while they were ahead like they'd originally intended on doing...

That Ultimate Spider-man Omni was supposed too come out today, pushed back to the new year though
They really should release an omnibus that bridges the gap between the Roger Stern stuff and McFarlane. There were some great stories in those issues.
I've always found the clone saga an interesting story line and I hope one day to read it all

Hey guys, just getting into comics/omnibus scene. Spiderman has always been one of my favourite heroes. Wondering, if i were to pick up all the spiderman omnibus, would there be a need for the spiderman vs venom one, or will they be overlapped on other ones?
Really hoping they fill in with volumes before and after the Roger Stern Omni. There are sizable gaps between the recently released Volume 5 (ends at #180) and the Roger Stern volume and also between the Roger Stern (ends at #252) and Todd McFarlane (starts at #296) volumes.
Spectacular Spider Man (Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man) Omnis are also way overdue.
I really want a book for the stern-mcfarlane gap.
Maximum Carnage is my favourite saga. Hope we get a battle diorama statue on this

Love this episode GEM MINT! My absolute favorite Spider-Man Omnibus is Velume 4 (Death of Gwen Stacy) and I would put the Miles Morales at #5. Otherwise I agree with everything you have!
