I think the highest I ever went to A2 with was 24, and that was my Acid Retaliation build that started off with Dreeg's Evil Eye, and I farmed the shamans in the outskirts for several levels for the offhand MI whose drop got heckin' nerfed in 1.2 because of changes in MI drops. So yea, I don't even know what you'd have to do to hit 30 before A2. Probably farming for the exact triple-rare from the Warden or something. I got the fire treads boots, which normally isn't great for a build like this, but the proc was going off almost constantly, so I was pretending I was a really, really slow skater build for a brief period of time. It was not amazing, but it worked well enough when I was spinning around the Warden leaving trails of fire behind me.
It's viable, sure. You'd need more than just Giant's Blood though. Probably plan to use Word of Renewal, Tortoise, Prismatic Diamond, maybe look into Dryad or Chariot as well if you're needing more sustain.

@@Paikis i havent been to deep into mods myself, but i talked to someone who has 2k+ hours in the reign of terror mod which adds a lot of d2 stuff into the game like the whole map and runewords ubers etc and he says its his favorite arpg ever. Other than that there are other mods which just use the base game with new classes and items for new builds. Grimmarilation and Dawn of Masteries! Or the D3 Class only mod is pretty flashed out aswell!
Not having to use all your energy to constantly resummon the wind devils makes the skill about %1000 better for leveling. I tried it before and it felt miserable. This just looks like a pretty ok leveling start.
Yes. I don't really have a build fully planned, but there's a guide linked in episode 1's comments that will at least be close. You can build towards that if you want to go ahead. The great (?) thing about Grim Dawn is that most things have been done, so there isn't a whole lot of options for re-inventing the wheel without just making it worse.

Are you using other "mods" besides the Rainbow Filter or ist the bigger Healthbar from Elite Mobs an ingame Feature?
Rainbow Filter is the only mod I'm using. Everything else is from messing with in-game settings.

It wasn't bad. Fireblast plus devils worked fairly well. Now we hold right click.
