Yea, that grobel offhand used to be a pretty consistent drop pre-1.2. I could confidently find one pretty much every run. Post 1.2 however... yeesh. I think I went from level 12 to level 18 before one dropped, and even then I consider myself lucky. Ran the whole Outskirts many times before one dropped. I didn't time it, but it was at least a couple of hours. It even dropped of Corrosion, although the Subjugator's prefix was a wash. It also meant I hit level 20 before hitting Kreig, which meant doing crafting just before dealing with him, which significantly increased the speed with which I dispatched him. If one cares about speed, it was almost certainly not worth it, but since I've been down with a nasty bug and haven't really been able to do much, it was a way to distract me from my miserable head cold that didn't require a ton of concentration while under the effects of medication. Blood Burst adds main hand damage, which I believe counts for weapon damage, so you might be able to get use out of Fox even if you don't get the effigy.
6 levels? Ouch. Yes, I've been corrected on the weapon damage. we'll fix it next video. I went and played with devotions a bit and ... turns out I went completely the wrong way.

Just wanted to point out that DEE does do main hand damage through it's second node, so the lifesteal will work. If I rmmber correctly, the Ronaprax medal also adds RATA, so again lifesteal possibility. And since yr going for that medal anyway... I don't know what yr devotion setup is going to be like, but I'm asuming you will go for Fetid Pool proc, so the toad thingy will give 3 g, 3 p and lifesteal also for just 4 point investment. Just don't take "The Messenger of War" on this build, that's just a jebait. Murmur and Yugol are the way to go. Have fun! 🤗
Yes Fetid Pool/Murmur. I'm interested in why not Messenger? It adds a huge amount of flat fire retaliation, which we'll be converting to acid. I can't see a reason to NOT take it.

Farmed it for on one character, it took me like 5-6 runs in Normal and I got it. I tried to farm it in elite once again, got nothing after same 5-6 runs. It's easier to get leafmane horn later, I guess)
Absolutely right. Leafmane Horn is arguably a better item overall and you can buy them from the shop in Ancient Grove so you can do the vendor exploit to easily get good prefix/suffix - so much less hassle than trying to get a decent Toxic Effigy 👊🙂
@Arcadelife1 damn cause I did your other dreegs evil eyes build with aranist and I got 1 to drop and I'm level 55 and still using that same off hand... 🤣 luckily it isn't tied to armor....
Grimtools shows the drop chance is the same from level 12 all the way to 100. Mine dropped from a level 16 Venomancer and I got the level 12 version at level 18. Grimtools says it has a 0.63% drop chance in this situation. Whatever the actual numbers are, they are silly rare.
I’ve recently been doing a Dreeg’s Evil Eye Warlock in the base game (no expansions) and I had to farm those Groble idiots in Ultimate for ‘the best’ Toxic Effigy offhand I could get - no possibility of anything better without Malmouth expansion (for the Leafmane thing). Took a while to get anything semi-decent, just had to switch my conscious thought process off and repeatedly run around Burrwitch Outskirts hoping for some kind of ridiculous luck. I mean, compared to Viloth or Gollus or anyone else with a 100% drop chance it’s just a bit silly.
so urn ot taking oathkeeper til u finish the occultist bar then that defeats the purpose of having sentinel in the name bro might as well have said im leveling an occultist the going to use some oathkeeper skills to supplement the occultist tree
Use the crafted one mate. It's almost as good and a lot less farming required. Or if you didn't side with Duncan, then just get a book or something. It isn't worth the farm for ~25ish levels of use.
Yeah, if you have Ashes expansion, just use the Occult Horn that Duncan can craft as a default item as soon as you recruit him and then get a Leafmane Horn when you reach the Ashes expansion area and can buy one from the shop in Ancient Grove. Once you have access to that shop in Normal you can go back there at any level and the shop inventory will scale to your level.

Sometimes I thing the Developers added if Character = (insert skills) do not drop loot for type command
It does feel like it. I don't think they'd do that, but sometimes I do wonder :P

Yup. Leafmane is better for the DEE build. We'll be retaliation before we get there though, so wont bother :P
